Unfortunately, tonight was a completely different experience. My friend only ordered a drink while I ordered food. When the bill came, we noticed he had been charged $11 for chips and salsa, which was shocking. We've eaten here many times, and chips and salsa have always been complimentary with a meal, so this caught us completely off guard. When we asked about the charge, our server explained that because my friend didn't order food, she had to charge him for the chips and salsa. While I understand that restaurants have policies, I tried to find a simple solution by asking if she could just add his drink to my ticket since I had ordered a meal anyway. She told me she still couldn't do that and said we would have to pay the charge regardless. What made the situation even more confusing was that she acknowledged chips and salsa come with a meal, yet there seemed to be no flexibility to resolve such a small issue. It wasn't even about the money--it was the lack of consistency and customer service. As regular customers who come here often, it was disappointing to be treated this way over something that could have been handled much more reasonably. A little understanding or willingness to work with us would have gone a long way. I'll continue to say that the food is excellent, and Carlos continues to be one of the best employees here. However, this experience left a bad impression, and I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled so loyal customers don't leave feeling frustrated.

I ordered the strawberry Agua Fresca and was not expecting it to be the milky/creamy type of Agua Fresca. I was actually really disappointed that it tasted just like having strawberry Nesquik milk. I guess that's my fault for not asking more questions about it though! Overall, the people are nice and service was quick! The decor on the walls is really great also. And tequila shots are only like $6 so it's not badly priced!

This last time we sat at the bar and the service was lacking, but it looked like they were short staffed. However, they did acknowledge their delays and try to be more accommodating.
