If I could give this office a ZERO I would. I went into see dr. Chad Bidart on Friday, February 28, 2025 for a new patient visit. I was asked to arrive at 11:20 AM for an 11:40 AM appt. I was told this appt would be 30 minutes. I sat in the reception room waiting until 11:50 AM. A staff member brought me into a room, took my vitals, and performed an EKG. (I had an EKG done at the Renown ER on February 16, 2025. It was NORMAL. While the EKG was being done, the staff member was talking with me. I waited for some time until Chad came into the room at 12:01 PM. He asked me what brought me in to see him that day. I told him about the event that happened., and me going to the ER at Renown. That took about four (4) minutes. He told me the ER doctor diagnosed me correctly. He said he wanted two tests done...a heart monitor, and a PET scan. When he finished saying this he opened the door to the room and lead me/escorted me out to the front desk. I arrived at the front desk at 12:07PM. (Chad gave me three minutes of his time in response to my concerns ) He told the front desk about the two tests he wanted, and walked out the front door to the office. I talked with the front desk about next steps. They said the heart monitor would be sent to me, and the PET scan place would call me to appoint. I scheduled a six week follow-up appt as well. By the time I was done Chad walked back into the office with three drinks and lunch. I was in the office portal later that afternoon. I clicked on office notes/office visit summary to read that my EKG was ABNORMAL. I messaged Chad asking about my ABNORMAL EKG. His response was "WE CAN DISCUSS AT FOLLOW UP. THANKS." He could have messaged me about the results or a phone call....If He was comfortable having me wait until my six (6) week follow up appt. Between the seven minute new patient office visit and the ABNORMAL EKG NOT being discussed I decided this ISN'T the place for me. I called the office Monday to cancel everything scheduled. I asked about the time allowed for a new patient visit, to be told a new patient visit is thirty (30) minutes. ( I got seven (7) minutes) I asked for a hard copy of the EKG and doctor notes to be sent to me by mail. When I told the front desk why I was cancelling, she said "he didn't go over the EKG results? I also told her my appt lasted seven (7) minutes. Silence on the her end..... I scheduled with another cardiologist, and was seen April 30, 2015. I handed her all the papers and the EKG that I received from Challapalli Cardiology. She asked me if I was talking while it was being done. I said yes I was talking. She told me the results were ABNORMAL due to the fact I was moving and talking while it was being done. She gave me one hour of her time. This doctor, at Challapalli Cardiology, Chad Bidart is pompous, arrogant, and dismissive. I don't know about you, but I want a doctor who is thorough, caring, listens and is available to address any of my concerns. He was quite OK with me waiting six (6) weeks to discuss my first appt. I would expect a phone call at the very least, given I received a seven (7) minute new patient visit. Apparently when he runs late with a patient/patients, the patient (s) gets a shorter office visit. I suppose his lunch break is more important, than giving me thirty (30) minutes of his time, which would shorten his lunch time......... STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. There are better Cardiology offices in Reno. read more
