The cider is really good, they have flight options and howlers and growlers to go (we bought one). Now they have food- they have a terrific gourmet grilled cheese food truck outside specifically catering to Flint City Hard Cider called Hard Core Grilled Cheese. They're really good, so good in fact, that we ordered a third sandwich with chips to split after we had already ordered sandwiches with our cider. They even have vegan/vegetarian option, including vegan cheese for the less carnivorous types (my wife is happy about that). All sandwiches come with pickle spears and homemade chips. The food was excellent and the cider was great. Service can be hit or miss, depending on how busy they are, but the staff was pleasant and helpful when describing cider options. I like the atmosphere and the vibe. It's quiet and relaxing. They have bar seating, family style seating and two person tables throughout. The night we were here, they were hosting a curbside concert outdoors. The entire evening was nice. It'll be great when they can use the stage they have inside to host live music.

Pretty nice! My…read morefriend and I stopped in this week now that they are finally able to reopen after the Coronavirus shutdown. They had opened their doors right before coronavirus caused the three month shutdown, so this was our first chance to go in. We have had their cider before at other downtown bars etc (they sell their signature cider to a few locations around town and had curbside service), so both of us were eager to give their tap room location a whirl. They had a nice variety of reasonably priced ciders on tap by the glass, including the option to order flights for $12, in addition to howlers and growlers. I ordered Walk the Lime, which was a tart flavored cider. I rather liked it, it wasn't too dry or zesty. I've had their signature, Flint City Dry, which is decent, but a bit too dry for me and not my favorite. However, Pineapples in Flight was excellent and is one of my favorites. Maybe next time I'll get one of their flavored cider shots. The cider infused cocktails looked interesting, too, so I'll try one of those the next time we stop in. Overall, the cider options were varied. The service was good, the cider was excellent and the location has promise. It was dark, but very spacious with substantial seating and a few arcade games and whatnot, with a nice stage area, which I kinda hope will be home to live music down the road. I didn't notice a food menu yet, but perhaps that will change in the future.

Cheers Theme :-) My review is based on three visits back in 11/2023, 5/2024 and recently on Saturday September 14th during the Heritage Festival & Classic Car. I've been looking to shop and buy "Bailey's Apple Pie" for the Autumn holidays. Unfortunately the Liquor control has not sent the supply to Michigan in years past, but maybe this season. My niece also shops here from time to time when they needed a bottle or two for her family holiday parties. The owner is Sail Dawood and store manager who is nice to talk with when a customer is looking for a special brand or particular bottle. First things first - the sign is going to read KKB not the whole words spelled out. And Sal may be a bit of a smart alek if you walk in asking for something. That said, not only is there an OBSCENE selection of liquor for such a small town but Sal knows his stuff. He knows comparable spirits for what you want (and knows and will admit what's paint thinner), will clue you in to sales and will order whatever you like if you don't find it there. It's farther away from me than several places but I will likely make it a point to swing buy and support them when I'm around. And certainly will go to them if I want something special. The coordinator and staff were personable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They took the time to listen to our ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions on how to make the space work best for our vision. Their experience and attention to detail were invaluable. Honestly, we had planned to "wing it" when it came to the setup, but when we arrived, we were blown away. The entire upstairs area had been beautifully organized with seating, and they had even created an aisle for me to walk down. It was such a special surprise and made the ceremony feel even more meaningful than we had imagined. We specifically chose this venue because we wanted an intimate wedding surrounded by our closest family and friends, and with about 40 guests, the space was absolutely perfect. It felt warm, comfortable, and personal--exactly the atmosphere we were hoping to create. In fact, it exceeded our expectations and was even better than we had imagined. If you're looking for a venue with a wonderful staff, exceptional attention to detail, and a space that feels both intimate and special, we highly recommend this venue.
