Where to start? Really cute inside. The food and drinks were good. I had the mimosa flight, a…read morechicken caprese salad and the crab Mac n cheese. The mimosas were good. The salad was just okay. Definitely not a traditional caprese because there was not a speck of basil or balsamic glaze in sight. Also served with cucumbers. The chicken was lacking in flavor and a small portion. Also, the menu completely had caprese spelled incorrectly. I feel if you call yourself a bistro you should at least be aware of the correct spelling of food you serve. The crab Mac n cheese was good, however the kitchen completely forgot to add the ritz Parmesan crust that the menu listed. I was able to get a side of it and mix it in at least. The menu also listed a side of coleslaw which I never received. Now for the bad. We had a reservation and the service was soooo slow. I understand being short staffed, etc but it was frustrating. Gratuity was added to our bill since we had a larger group, however the server took the itemized receipts upon returning our cards. This felt sketchy because you were prompted to tip on your card with the receipt you needed to sign and leave with the waitress. If you hadn't read your initial bill she left you wouldn't have any idea that a tip was already added. Luckily I noticed so I was able to inform my fellow guests. Also, there is a 3% credit card fee added to your bill if you pay with a card. Seems a little outdated and like a money grab. Overall, I'd probably not go out of my way to come back. Felt like a lot of hype for little return which was disappointing. This seemed like my kind of spot. Nonetheless it's an hour away from my home as it is.

Both items were brought out at the same time even though we requested the salad first. Salad was sparse with ingredients and the macaroni and cheese was only okay . Bar service was okay but nothing other than that. There are too many other restaurants in the area for us to try and we probably will not return ..

I have been here several times now and I have been thoroughly impressed every single time. First…read moreand foremost, I am not a fan of Michigan wines on most typical days. I get it, same longitude and wines should grow similar and all that jazz, but Michigan wines outside of the sweeter styles really never taste right to me. Well whatever they are doing here is nothing short of scientifically brilliant. Probably some of the best MItten Vino I have ever had and that assessement is from traveling all around the state and trying different areas. The Frontenac, Petite Pearl, Marquette were my favorites by far. But my five stars isn't for the wine, it's for the sheer joy this place brings me. Absolutely beautiful campus with sheep and goats and a big white furball of a dog who looks so adorable but is trained to kill any possible threat to his wards. The large barn event space and indoor seating is nothing short of gorgeous and of course sitting outside is just pure joy. I will add more pics as I come across them.

It is very clear why this is an in-demand wedding location. The dinner included salad, from scratch stone-fired pizza, and of course, wine. The pizza was excellent and I will definitely be getting one during my next visit. There were quite a few different wines on their menu and I tried some samples of whites, Rosé, reds, and ports. They were all very good and a few were quite unique. My favorite was the Marquette Double Barrel. We ended up buying 3 different bottles during our visit. The service was excellent and the owners are very friendly. This is a family business and they are doing a marvelous job.

The food options are equal to speakeasy bar bites like pretzels, nuts, cheese and chocolate. We got the charcuterie board and it was okay. I'd like to see them upgrade this option maybe some fresh fruit or something. But I'll always say YES to this place :)

We went for trivia and expected it to be the same as always, unfortunately it was not. They erased our points we've earned for a free glass, these are no longer honored. The menu has significantly changed: flights are $2-$3 more, no longer include flight bites, an upcharge for premium pours (which is understandable), no longer has a $5 bottle credit, and each glass is now $3-$5 more per pour. Why did you have to make every last item on the menu more expensive? I understand that the economy and inflation contribute to these things, but to increase the price and get less on everything throughout the menu plus not honor points earned for a free glass is a slap in the face. I'm just crushed at the blatant disrespect for the regulars that come every week for trivia or other events, no warning. Our trivia night just got a whole lot more expensive and we will be looking at other locations with more reasonably priced beverages and snacks. I hope they still allow us to bring in our own food, they did this week but who knows if that will also change. The staff seemed stressed telling us the new rules as well.
