Upon walking in on Wednesday the 28th I was greeted with a Smile and pleasant service from Owner Mike. We had a nice humorous chat about his Detroit Lions sweatshirt instead of a Detroit Red Wings and then my purchase began with the last two bottles of Gingerbread Captain's Rum for $15.99 each for a friends pizza visit Saturday night. I'll be back to take more photos next week to add in this review to assist and help others with their sipping party favorites. Cheers Theme :-) My review is based on three visits back in 11/2023, 5/2024 and recently on Saturday September 14th during the Heritage Festival & Classic Car. I've been looking to shop and buy "Bailey's Apple Pie" for the Autumn holidays. Unfortunately the Liquor control has not sent the supply to Michigan in years past, but maybe this season. My niece also shops here from time to time when they needed a bottle or two for her family holiday parties. The owner is Sail Dawood and store manager who is nice to talk with when a customer is looking for a special brand or particular bottle. That said, not only is there an OBSCENE selection of liquor for such a small town but Sal knows his stuff. He knows comparable spirits for what you want (and knows and will admit what's paint thinner), will clue you in to sales and will order whatever you like if you don't find it there. It's farther away from me than several places but I will likely make it a point to swing buy and support them when I'm around. And certainly will go to them if I want something special.
