Cheers Theme :-) My review is based on three visits back in 11/2023, 5/2024 and recently on Saturday September 14th during the Heritage Festival & Classic Car. I've been looking to shop and buy "Bailey's Apple Pie" for the Autumn holidays. Unfortunately the Liquor control has not sent the supply to Michigan in years past, but maybe this season. My niece also shops here from time to time when they needed a bottle or two for her family holiday parties. The owner is Sail Dawood and store manager who is nice to talk with when a customer is looking for a special brand or particular bottle. The business name is spelled differently yet the meaning of this local party store supports the Community with snacks and crackers plus many beer (kegs too) brands, wine and liquor. This business has a large parking and is located on 200 N. Main Street at E. St. Clair Street in downtown Almont, near Brunch @ Joe's. Phone: (810) 798-8488 Hours: Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 10 PM Friday & Saturday 9 AM - 11PM Sunday 10 AM = 9 PM This business is a member of the Township DDA which is referred to as "Downtown Development Authority." First things first - the sign is going to read KKB not the whole words spelled out. And Sal may be a bit of a smart alek if you walk in asking for something. That said, not only is there an OBSCENE selection of liquor for such a small town but Sal knows his stuff. He knows comparable spirits for what you want (and knows and will admit what's paint thinner), will clue you in to sales and will order whatever you like if you don't find it there. It's farther away from me than several places but I will likely make it a point to swing buy and support them when I'm around. And certainly will go to them if I want something special. Aces all around.

There is so many vintage and historical items all around this little store such as the 1886 stove and the self playing piano. Not to mention the entire front of the store was moved to its current location from across the street somewhere around 60 years ago. It was a former barn. Take your time to look around as you may find something really interesting. There's also a lot of affordable candy to choose from.

They offered flights of all their offerings, and had some good diversity. Their black currant/orange hopped cider was solidly good, vanill-o was pretty good, the apple cinnamon was great, and the bavarian hefe-cider was odd but good. Far and away the best though (in my opinion, anyway) was the jamboree, which I settled for an extra glass of after my flight - blackberry basil flavor, definitely unique! Staff was super friendly, felt very welcome with my dog inside, and everyone was masked and keeping their distances. Right in Canterbury Village next to the Yates Cider Mill Store, which is another must-do while there. Highly recommend!
