This restaurant is located right by La Spiagga Maria Pia making it the perfect spot for lunch after a long beach day. We were seated immediately in their open air dining area. They do have an indoor section as well as a completely outdoor section too.
We got the spaghetti vongole, the ravioli, two oysters and tiramisu for dessert. The oysters were much different than the oysters I'm used to back in the States but still super fresh and refreshing. The spaghetti vongole was delicious. It was made very simply with really nice olive oil, plenty of clams, and sprigs of parsley. It could've used a little bit of parmesan on top but it also had plenty of flavor on its own. My sister enjoyed her ravioli and said the prawn was one of the best she's ever had and she wished there were more! We both loved the tiramisu too. It didn't have a ton of espresso flavor but I actually liked that.
I would definitely come back to Chalet in the future. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice, the food seemed authentic, and the staff was friendly enough. read more
