Definitely try their pesche (double cream filled donuts sandwiched together), diplomatici (crispy pastry layers with a cake layer mixed with cream) or their regular donut ciambelle which is fluffy and finger-lickingly scrumptious. It's all so good, it's bad for you because you'll want to eat them daily! The staff is generally nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you're in Alghero, this is a must breakfast location.

After asking who made these divine goodies... we were told they were from Tarragona (my all-time favorite pastry shop in Alghero). They sell these for 1.00€ each, which is cheaper than buying them directly from Tarragona. Get there early to make sure you can get one! 2) Inexpensive Prices Regular espresso coffee is 1.00€, and no extra add-on fee for sitting down. 3) Friendly service The service was super friendly and the woman serving us even emembered us several days later when we returned. 4) Central Location Two minutes from the historic center and just around the corner from the Port of Alghero, it's easy to reach on foot. 5) Cute decor Their is an outdoor area with seats and umbrellas, although it faces a busy street, it's nice to have the option to sit outside. The inside interior is decroated in a vintage stylel, modern with chalkboard menus on the wall.

Or cream???, and you are taking up a table a paying customer could have had. Be a considerate Yelper! The people here were very accommodating to us and the location, the breeze was lovely. The Creama Caffe was wonderful; pastries: so-so. The sandwiches at the next table looked really good but we didn't get to try them.

Service is so important for me to truly enjoy any establishment and here it was a total fail. We went around 9am on a Friday morning for a coffee and pastry. The staff was very strange... when we asked for some hot water, on top of our order of two pastries and two coffees, they looked at us like we had two heads. Asking us several times to clarify what we wanted. Then as they realized we wanted a cup of hot water, they recounted a story about feeling irked when another client had asked for hot water but brought their own teabag. They told us how they responded negatively to this request. They did not know why we needed the hot water, so by retelling us this story in a derogatory way only implied that if I were to pull out a teabag of my own, they would what.. growl their disapproval or throw me out of their establishment? haha. Okay, I might understand that as a business that sells their own tea, you may feel jilted with others trying to get free hot water and bringing their own tea, but then just charge them for the price of tea! But, if someone has a preference to their own tea from their own home, shouldn't they be allowed to have some hot water, even if you make them pay for it? We needed some water to make hot oatmeal for my child, but we felt watched and uncomfortable the whole time we were there, as they were waiting to see how we would use the hot water! Apparently, the bar deemed this use of hot water 'okay' and at the register, they did not charge us for the hot water. I would have gladly paid for the cup of hot water, if it meant that they would've left us in peace! The whole experience was just not inviting and I would definitely not return. Business owners should be more flexible. The one star is for the location and the lounge area outside.
