When I first heard about it I googled what buti yoga was and was slightly apprehensive. Despite that, I decided to give it a shot. Y'all! It was so much fun and probably the hardest workout class I've ever done. I have never sweat so much! (but in a good way) The instructor is very fast paced but not so much so that you feel lost. She is very good at getting your heart really pumping. Throughout the class you do exercises where you are connecting to the other people in the class and it ended in a huge circle where we all bound arms. She created such a great atmosphere and energy in the room that the connectivity we felt amongst everyone actually made my friend tear up! I definitely recommend giving the studio and these classes a try and look forward to dropping in for classes.

I was fortunate to have a chance to visit with Ruth and Tina when I arrived. Their vision is exciting! If you have a chance, arrive early so they can share with you their wonderful ideas. Ruth and Tina spared no expense on designing a studio that is very warm and inviting. I did my first vigorous class with Rebekah on October 5th 2022. Rebekah is a fun and very knowledgeable instructor. I love the way she builds on the flow. Allowing your body to warm up before breaking into more difficult poses. Rebekah is also excellent with counter poses which are very important when practicing yoga. Her class was a vinyasa with a few "circus tricks" lots of twists and balancing . Shala yoga loft is now my favorite thing to do on Wednesday at noon. ----- It's now 2023, and I'm now a member at Shala yoga loft. In October of 2022 I purchased a $40 two week unlimited, and I'm so glad I did! It allowed me to try all the different classes which helped me decide if Shala was the place for me. I now go to as many classes as I'm physically able to go to. I love the variety of classes that are offered and the uniqueness of each of the instructors. I honestly believe that Shala's yoga instructors are the best. They are all very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I also LOVE the choice of chilled or heated lavender towel at the end.

A Truly Transformative Experience…read more After facing recent health challenges, my doctor suggested incorporating stress relief techniques like deep breathing and meditation into my routine. As someone who's naturally high-energy and struggles with quieting my mind, I've always found these practices difficult--until I attended Brittani's sound healing class. I had never been to a sound healing session before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Brittani began with a gentle, grounding meditation followed by a chanting exercise. While I felt nervous at first about chanting aloud, the atmosphere she created was so welcoming and judgment-free that my hesitation quickly melted away. When Brittani began to sing, her voice--so angelic and soothing--washed over the room, setting the tone for what became one of the most peaceful experiences I've ever had. As we lay back with eyes closed, she played a variety of instruments including a flute, sound bowls, and an ocean drum. The calming sounds allowed my mind to finally relax--something I hadn't thought was possible for me. By the end of the session, I felt both deeply peaceful and surprisingly energized. I left feeling lighter, more balanced, and genuinely refreshed. I've been coming back every week since, and it's become one of the highlights of my routine. Brittani's class has truly become a sanctuary for my mind and body.
