I was so excited to hear that a new drink shop was opting up near me that served pakistani drinks! It is very difficult to find a nice place to drink chai in Sacramento (if there are any others). It was too hot to try their karak chai yesterday so I opted for an oreo espresso frappe instead and it was BOMB. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing, a great place to bring your friends and catch up over some drinks. Their menu is so expansive so there's something for everyone to try, definitely worth checking out!! The service was great, we were having difficulty choosing a drink and they gave us some good recommendations and some insight on the place itself! Great experience! I had the Karak Chai and my spouse had the mango kulfi. Both delicious! I had my chai 50% sweet and it was the perfect level of sugar. There are tons of cold, hot, caffeinated, and non caffeinated drinks, with options to make adjustments. The spacious room I has table space and outlets, with free WiFi (I'd work here, but with headphones if you need quiet). The owner was warm and informative. We will be back! read more

OMG I love Chaii! A desi boba shop is such a fun combination of cultures. The drinks are so yummy and you can customize the sweetness which I really appreciate because I feel most chai lattes are too sweet. The samosas and cookies are super good. The cafe is decorated so cute and the music is great. Great vibes for a date, or a treat with friends and family, or even to get work done for a couple hours. The staff are so nice. My only complaint is the tiny parking lot, but I just park in the neighborhood nearby and walk over. read more

The place was very nice inside with friendly staff. I wanted to score it more of a 3.5 but that's not optional. The tapioca pearls were very under-more like black licorice pieces. Also the plastic top on one of my drinks wasn't completely sealed. I'd definitely suggest having a more intuitive menu where the specialty drinks are explained (ie Desi Drinks are not self explanatory), and put on some upbeat music to make it more lively. Not knowing what half of the drinks were made it very difficult because I want to know the flavors I'm ordering. BUT I think with some improvements this place would be great! read more

Went in right before the afternoon today. Had been looking forward to trying this place for a while. We were the only customers in there at the time, while there were two employees working. Ordered two iced chai teas, we heard the workers talking for a long time about how to make them, so we said we would be alright with them just being hot. Workers ensured they could make them iced. After about 15 minutes drinks were finally ready, except they had boba in them which we did not ask for. One of the workers rudely insisted that she thought we said boba when what we had said was oat-milk. I work in customer service so I understand mix-ups and miscommunications happen but just apologize and offer to remake it, no need to be rude. So we asked her to remake them, she was very clearly upset that she had to do so. Overall the drinks were alright, not very strong in flavor. Giving one star due to bad customer service. read more

My family and I chose to check out the place because it was across from a bakery we had previously visited, and to our surprise, it had only recently opened. At first sight, the interior appeared to be beautifully put together. It was cozy and welcoming. I regretfully cannot recall the names of the drinks we ordered, but we were so impressed that we insisted on returning. They had distinct flavors and weren't overly sugary, which I consider a huge dealbreaker. They also had games on one of the tables, like Jenga, to keep you occupied while you waited. Our only complaints were about the macarons and cookies. One included a biscoff cookie, which was extremely sweet, difficult to chew, and had a terrible aftertaste. I wish the worker had warmed it before handing it to me, but it wouldn't have mattered because it hardened quickly when I warmed it up at home. As for the macaron, this was the most disappointing because they offered my favorite flavor, lavender. It tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for days because it was primarily stale and did not taste fresh. When you tried to eat it, it snapped off and did not have a chewy consistency. I feel the sweets are meant to be aesthetically pleasing rather than delicious, so avoid spending your money. read more

No explanation of what the different drinks on the menu are and the staff was not very helpful in explaining. My girl wanted something without caffeine, and the dude told her matcha has no caffeine (!?) I did not think I was ordering a boba drink, but I got a boba drink. It was like $8 and way too sweet. Also they were selling what strait up looked like Entemann's pastries from the supermarket... hard pass for me. The service is so rude the girl with the eyebrow piercing was incredibly rude, i asked for light ice and they filled it to the top with it along with just putting the drink on the counter when they called everybody else's drink out. I showed up day one. How relieved I was to see it was finally open after waiting so long. Did not disappoint. The interior ambience is stellar, with aesthetic decor and fresh air blowing from the vents, it's as comfortable as can be. They did a good job removing any remnants of the former Starbucks. I came for the drinks, had gotten the Kulfi, and Butterfly pea drinks. Golly were they good, and refreshing. A tad on the pricier end, but justifiably so.
