I love chaii and is often a go to for me since its so close to my work!! Yesterday I took my boyfriend there, and we had a great time playing their provided board games and snacking on the most amazing peanut butter cookie with peanut m&ms!! I ordered the Spanish latte, per usual and if was sooooo good! My boyfriend got the boba tea and he enjoyed it too! The service was great and this is overall a great spot to come hangout. Parking is ROUGH!! But its well worth it!

So cutesies! Very spacious, homey, and quiet. We were immediately greeted, the barista gave us good recommendations. And answered all of our questions. I had the Biscoff Latte, I had high hopes. But it was bland, tasted like chocolate milk. Couldn't taste the coffee or the Biscoff flavor. Also it was dead when we visited. But the drinks took 10-15 minutes to be made. However, the samosa was soo delicious! They are made in house. He warmed it up for me and the sauce made the perfect pairing! So flavorful, filled with spices, and filling. I would have bought more but they only had one left. The store seemed to be split, I noticed that those studying or doing work were on the left side. Where there's tables that are pretty spaced out, outlets, and better lighting. The right side is more tight, with comfy chairs and a few games such as connect four and Jenga blocks. It's also where the neon light sign was, the social corner. The area is kind of sketch- But it's worth a visit! I highly recommend trying the Samosas if there's any when you visit. My friend had the Mango Lassi and said it was good. But I'd steer away from their coffee. Personally, I'd only come back if I was craving a samosa.

Had the best Americano from here and the staff were amazing! The Americano was balanced with milk and not too sweet with caramel. The shop is really nice and cute.

In the area waiting to attend an event and needed a pick me up. The place is on the corner with a shared parking lot, which is nice not to have to parallel park. The floral / shrubbery interior is fun and it had a good amount of people inside placing orders while others were lounging. Staff was nice, and now I really wish I would of told them it was my first time and asked for a recommendation. I wound up getting one of their iced teas, not sure if it was mango or peach, but I didn't actually care for my iced tea. The flavors were just not mixing well, but I would come back and try the place again to find my go to drink.

They hand make their chai's and don't use premade powders or syrups. It was so delicious. Place was clean with cute tables and chairs. Toys available for kids. Customer service was fantastic and place is clean.

Drinks: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Seating: 4/5 Parking: 3/5 Located in a small shopping plaza, the parking directly next to the store is all only 20 minute parking. Since it's right on 65th street which is always busy, it may be better to turn on Broadway street and try to find 2 hour street parking. There are lots of indoor and outdoor seating: tall seats at a counter; many tables with hard, metal chairs; 3 conversational areas of comfortable cushioned chairs around small tables; 3 wooden picnic tables outdoors. Not tested/not pictured is a Gender Neutral Restroom. The music is not too loud; overall, it seems a great place to study, hangout with friends, or relax with a hot drink. When ordering my drink, the staff was very nice and conversational, answered all my questions and helped me pick my order. I ordered Karak Chai with Soy Milk (hot). It was delicious! Not too sweet and definitely woke me up. They do offer a couple pastries if you're looking for a snack. Overall, it's a great casual spot and I'm so glad there's more businesses opening up near Sac State where I think students would enjoy. Will definitely return to enjoy a nice, hot drink in the cold weather.

Thai Caramel Whisper with boba and Lychee Berry Dream with lychee jelly

I've driven by Chaii so many times and am glad that I finally stopped in today! I came for boba but their food menu made a strong impression. My partner and I were interested in ordering samosas to-go, but the counter service regretfully informed us that they're only sold Friday-Sunday. It was a bummer, but we'd be interested in coming back, given that you don't always find Indian food at a coffee and tea shop specializing in boba drinks and desserts! Inside was cute and comfortable, and outside had seating options as well. My partner ordered the Lychee Berry Dream and I ordered the Thai Caramel Whisper. Both were well crafted, but the Thai Caramel Whisper was the favorite of the two! This combination was not only unexpected, but also delicious. I'd highly recommend and am excited to continue exploring more of their menu!

Iced salted caramel white mocha with oatmilk

The Salted caramel white mocha is delicious!! I got it iced and with oat milk. It's exactly what I was wanting and hit the spot. So smooth and creamy and the salted caramel doesn't over power the white chocolate. It's a seasonal item, but I would be so happy if it stayed on the menu.

    Mocha, cookie, and a chai

Chaii is a really nice spot with excellent service and great chai and coffee We came to check out Chaii after spending time at the giant pumpkin fest in Elk Grove, it was a hot day for October and I needed an iced drink The ambiance was clean and modern there was even a group of friends that I helped take photos for because they really liked the decor I got a iced mocha and a cookie to share with my fiance and a chai for her, she said it's one of the best chais she ever had, my iced mocha was great as well, milky but still had a good coffee and chocolate flavor, sweet but not overly so They offered to heat our cookie which was super nice of them, the cookie itself was loaded with macadamia nuts which was awesome and even though the cookie maybe needed a bit more time in the oven it was still a damn good cookie - my only nitpick about it was maybe they used a bit too much fat in the cookie otherwise texture, flavor, and sweetness was on point

The sign has been up for this place for over a year and it's finally open! It's actually a lot more spacious inside than I expected. This is a difficult little parking lot to get in/out of, so I would recommend just parking in the neighborhood nearby and taking a short walk over. I was greeted by the owner upon entering. It was nice to see there were already a few people in there waiting for drinks despite just opening up for the day. There is a great variety of drinks on the menu! I wanted to go with something tried and true but the Thai Berry Dream caught my eye. He told me it was a Thai tea with strawberry, so I decided to give it a shot since I love both flavors but haven't tried them together! There were two baristas and even though they're in soft opening, the drink came out pretty quickly! I went to shake it to mix but it wasn't sealed all the way. Luckily it only spilled on the table. I didn't mind but I decided to go tell them so it wouldn't happen to other customers. They resealed it and it was still open so they tried again. I appreciate them fixing it for me. Hope to come back to try more of their drinks and some of the snacks like Nutella paratha!

    Bagel and Karak Chai
    Alda M.

The best karak chai I've ever had. Wide assortment of Indian and South Indian drinks, boba tea, and your typical western variety. This spot is legit. Very authentic, no corporate at all. Staff is chill, atmosphere is bright and comfortable. Parking sucks but there's a lot across the street in front of Tacos 65. I hope this place makes it, this area needs more places like this and Tacos 65. Support local businesses!

Stopped by this new coffee/tea shop and it is amazing ! They have hot and iced drinks from milk tea, blended smoothies and coffees. It's a bright, spacious and I love all the vine/ plant decor. The barista was nice and quick with our order and They've got sweet and savory treats also! I tried their new Samosa and it was soooo good! Perfect seasoning and sauce. The Nutella paratha was also perfectly sweet and like a crepe but with a crunch! Super good definitely stop by!!

They have a parking lot but it's shared with other businesses and always seems to be full, however there's a good amount of street parking and I found a spot closeby no problem. When I walked in it was a lot bigger than I expected and they had a good amount of seating. There wasn't a line when I arrived, but that quickly changed after I placed my order and I feel like there was a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there. I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!

My lady and I ordered their BSL and Saigon Coffee. We were told it was their last day to get the BSL and it seemed hyped up so we gave it a try. It was not too bad! It was mainly a Matcha with banana syrup and little additions, I feel as if it was a little too overhyped. Their Saigon Coffee was a little lacking in coffee flavor & strength for my personal liking but it wasn't too bad! This place is definitely a solid Coffee shop in Sacramento for sure.
