After looking at some good reviews for this place I decided to give it a try & see whether this…read moreplace will live upto my expectation. I deducted 1 star as the staff was really blunt & not too helpful when it came to my food. I do love my food but like it being spicy, unfortunately they were only willing to be flexible with 1 of my dishes as they said it is not possible. Interesting enough I've tried the same at a different place & they have been willing. Now with regards to taste of good, I'll say it is not too bad & you get decent taste, although I like the taste at a different naan place as they are absolutely fabulous. I ordered a cheese naan & asked whether it wld be Paneer naan & I was told yes, but when I ate it that was not the case. Overall I wld say this is a decent take away place, but there is another place which is much better than this one.

This place suffers a bit of false advertising, otherwise I would have given it 3 stars. I wanted to…read moreorder the chicken tikka masala with naan that was displayed on a sticker outside but unfortunately they do not make that (that day? anymore? did they ever make it?). Also, my friend had ordered there before and was a bit surprised that his kebab naan did not come with salad as pictured on the menu. We asked about that and apparently they do not have ANY salad in the shop! "It's just for the photo," we were told. And although there was a VISA sticker on the window, they do not take cards. Only cash and mobilepay. The food took a little over 20 minutes to come out. We took it back home and I was a bit disappointed to see the butter chicken was 6 small pieces of chicken in a neon orange sauce which had dripped all over the inside of the bag. It didn't look good but it tasted ok. The plain naan was very nice with great texture and it was very good for soaking up the surplus of sauce. After I finished the naan the creamy, heavy sauce became too much for me and I started feeling a little nauseaous. Luckily there was some cooked rice ready at home and that improved the dish. My friend let me try some aalo (potato) naan, qeema (spiced beef) naan, and cheese naan and they were all excellent; especially the aalo which was pleasantly spicy. The chutney was also good with a refreshing mint flavour. It was pretty cheap so I may come back, but next time I will just get the delicous naan with chutney and skip the chicken stuff.

I ordered from here with two friends and we split all the dishes. The delivery guy was pleasant and…read morethe food was still warm. I really appreciated the fact that it was sealed with a clear plastic film on top so there was little chance of leakage unless it was cut or the plastic container was broken. Unfortunately our reading comprehension wasn't so great that evening so we ordered the Mixed Vegetable Tikka Biriani (79 dkk) and one raita (18 dkk per portion) for each of us; not knowing that the biriani already comes with raita and the mains that we wanted are all accompanied by plain rice. This didn't cost much more and they were tasty but it made for way too much food! It was silly of us since it is stated in RED at the top of the online menu. =_= The dish I was most looking forward to was Chicken Vendalu (85 dkk) which turned out to be only moderately spicy for me. On the menu, it warns that the dish is very spicy but I didn't feel that it was. Even my friend who doesn't like food to be that spicy said he could handle it. He got the Chicken Butter Tikka Masala (95 dkk) which tasted OK but was honestly a little boring. I think I have only had that dish once or twice before so I'm not sure how it is supposed to taste when made 'authentically' (yes, I know it probably originates in Britain). My other friend had Lamb Palak (95 dkk) and it had great texture and flavour. We all got a portion of garlic naan (20 dkk) to sop up all the sauce with but I feel like Naan House does it better. I also had mixed pickles (8 dkk) which were nicely sour and a little spicy. Overall it was good and I didn't get sick but I was expecting the vendalu to be spicier and more flavourful. The price is good for the amount of food that you get so I'd try it again.
