In the middle of our conversation, one employee started watching videos at full volume. The sound was loud enough to compete with the music already playing in the shop. I asked if he could use headphones, and to his credit, he turned it off. Not long afterward, another employee started doing the exact same thing. This continued on and off for the next hour. I was honestly stunned by the lack of basic manners. I don't know who taught these people that it's acceptable to impose their personal cell phone audio on an entire room of paying customers, but it's behavior I'd expect from a small child, not from people representing a business.

The store sells Blue Bell ice cream. They are known for their ice cream sammies, and you can pick from Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, or you can just get ice cream in a cup, a regular cone, or a freshly made waffle cone. Milkshakes and malts are available too, as are sundaes. Beverages are sold here as well if you are looking for a soda; I am pretty sure I saw both Coke and Pepsi products available. I liked that the store has comfortable seating areas where I could relax, eat my ice cream, and marvel at the decor. The balloons were a fun touch, and if you time it right, you might even run into the mascot, Sammie. I ordered the two-scoop coconut and Dutch chocolate, not realizing how much ice cream that would actually be--the portion size was very generous!
