Sad day to be writing such a review, but long overdue. Service is now completely degenerated. Owner marches to the beat of his own drum, does what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants. He showed up without permission, completed a glass replacement without our knowledge or permission, and was unreachable during the time frame. Once I had as able to reach him by phone he just gloated about how busy he is, and how we aren't the only customers. We then found out through other sources and from additional complaints, that he was using aftermarket glass, but being paid for the factory (OEM) price. Once we learned that, we found other jobs he had done fraudulently for us as well. SafeLite is now reviewing him as an affiliate; and my business and family have discontinued him as a vendor for us. He has gotten too big for his britches. read more

Where do I begin? I have alot of nice things to say about Chad's. He is always quick to answer you and get you scheduled no matter how quick you need it or are in a bind. When they do get there, they usually switch out your glass in a matter of minutes and get you back on the road. There rates are always competitive compared to Safelite or Glass Doctor. Worst service ever!!!! I got my windshield repaired around Christmas time, as I was traveling to my family's house on the freeway the side panel of my windshield completely flew off!!! I later contacted them seeing I was very upset and that could have potentially been a safety hazard. I was told it was not their fault that it flew off that they are put on poorly to begin with! Mind you the past 5 years I have had my vehicle never once did the side panel of my windshield become loose or fly off! And if this issue was not enough they installed a windshield that had a scratch on it. When this was brought up again I was told it was not their doing they order them from a manufacturer and it must have come like that! I waited over a month for my car to get fixed I constantly tried contacting them and never got a response! Do not do business with this company! Look elsewhere! read more

Sent me a defected windshield with scratches all over it, his crew left broken glass all over my dashboard and stained my driver seat with their black silicone substance and tried to hide it (after I had tipped them both a $10 each) and tried to drive off without saying anything about the defects and my seat. I immediately contacted the owner and explained everything to him. No remorse, apologizes, or how can I help you make things right. He loves to not respond back, lie, and act like who cares because he's already got your money. DATE OF SERVICE: 03/25/24. AMOUNT PAID: $409.45. SERVICE COMMITMENT PROVIDED: new replacement front windshield including labor without damaging my vehicle during removal of damaged/exisisting windshield & installation of new windshield. NATURE OF DISPUTE: Both service technicians damaged my vehicle while removing my left & right side windshield panels & denied liability. Business is denying liability (I have text msgs). Service tech 'B' verbally stated & physically demonstrated how he "popped" off the panel clips with a flat plastic tool & showed me the missing/broken clip. Both techs got in the service vehicle & drove off as I opened my hood & found Both broken pieces where they fell off at the inside base of the panels. I immediately took photos & called the business & service techs-both parties denied liability & damages. I went to the business to show them the damages & broken pieces & the doors were locked & staff refused to inspect the damages & take photos/videos of the damages. They gaslighted me & said it was cosmetic damage/not important/cheap parts/not their fault etc. I advised them I was going to get a quote for the damages/repairs & they msgd me attempting to bully/intimidate me & said where so they could call ahead they personally knew the service manager at the dealerships & personally did business with them. The dealership gave me a quote for the replacement parts, confirmed the vehicle should be repaired asap/the base was a screw-in & damaged during the service performed by Chad's Auto Glass techs. I was told the replacement parts don't come painted & an auto body shop would need to match the paint & labor would be cheaper. The auto body shop they recommended quoted me $615.23 for parts/paint/repairs. I contacted this business in good faith for the new windshield & labor & the techs damaged my car & were dishonest about it. The context of the text msgs to the business also has a dishonest/lack of liability tone which should not go unaccounted for. The owner 'Chad' is supposed to call tomorrow, perhaps to get the stories straight from the service techs who are denying liability of all damages sustained as a result of their careless actions while performing services to my vehicle. You should be ashamed of yourselves and your shady business practices. If I could give your business zero stars-I would. I've already contacted the BBB and filed a formal review and complaint. Your staff operate in an unethical, immoral, and dishonest fashion and your business deserves to be held accountable. My 2nd time choosing this shop & must I say Chad is phenomenal! I was given a beautiful, long crack on my windshield while driving on the 99 (2nd cracked windshield in less than a year). Incident happened on July 2nd; I immediately reached out to Chad who confirmed he had a spare windshield for my car & promptly made himself available the following day. What was most convenient for me is Chad's mobile service! He came to my work site to swap out my windshield. I didn't have to make accommodations with my work to leave or utilize my lunch hour to make this happen. I'd say it was less than 10 minutes (perhaps 15 at the most) when Chad was done. Absolutely the worst customer service since they replaced my OEM windshield this summer. About six weeks later the windshield cracked below the passenger wiper blade. In mid June I called Chads Glass and the person I spoke with said to come in and they would take a look to see if it was a stress crack or a rock that caused the crack. I arrived June 16, 2017 no one was in the office, I phoned the person I spoke with and he said there's two guys in the back office restoring a hot rod. I met one of them, he looked at the crack and he said "yea, that's a stress crack" he took my contact info and said he would pass it along. 4 weeks later... nothing..... I called twice (10 days apart) and left messages. Two weeks later nothing. I drove down there again and surprised Chad, he was loading some new windshields in his truck. I introduced myself and filled him in. He said, "yea, it's gonna have to be replaced under warranty". I said when? "Well the next time I'm in your area". I said I can come back here anytime and he said no that's not necessary. That was 8 weeks ago. Hey Chad, we shook hands and you gave me your word.... and I'm still waiting.... I called your mobile number every two weeks but it goes directly to voicemail. What gives Chad!! ... Man-up and follow through with your promise and replace my windshield! Also the OEM windshield that was installed has a VERY VISIBLE flaw in the glass on the passenger side, right in viewing area. All my passengers can't even look out the window because it's such a distraction... I didn't even notice this until your two install-technicians left . An oblivious, visible flaw that should have been caught..... your technicians sprayed and wiped the replacement windshield and they didn't see this? Sad! read more

On the professional side, Chad's has replaced three windshields for me over the last few years. (Hwy 99 gravel gets me every time!) Each time it was fast, easy, and perfectly done. Chad's processed my insurance claim through Allstate, too. So easy. You can go to the shop and hang out, or they will come to you. What could be more convenient? What a joke. July 7th canceled on me at 9:00 a.m. sent driver home was the reason. July 8th showed up wrong window was ordered dealerships fault. July 27th canceled on me saying they scheduled me for the wrong day but said they would call me the next day the 28th when they were on the way after lunch and for me to carry on with the rest of my day. Never asked for a response back. July 28th at 1:30p.m. I asked what time someone would be out and was told between 3-4. At 5:30 I reached out asking if someone was on the way the response was what car?? I replied what car it was for and was told I never replied to the text so they didn't put me on the schedule even though a few hours prior I was told between 3-4. The excuse I got was that one of the guys responded to the wrong text. So needless to say four days wasted and still no window replacement. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS SHOP. read more
