There is lots of seating so it is a great space yo catch up with friends and family. I have tried their chai before and it is definitely a solid option in Scarborough. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, my friends and I tried their matcha drinks and it was not the best. For $10 per drink, we were not satisfied with the quality of matcha and flavours of combinations. The matcha drinks fell short and tasted artificial... we will stick to their chai!

Some very unique concoctions here. I liked their take on the mango lassi, with a bunch of additional toppings and ice cream added on. So decadent! Ambience is pretty casual and they have wifi as well.

First time visiting this style of chai bar, and was excited to try it out for the first time. From first impressions, Chachi's was decently busy and a lot of the seating was getting slowly filled up on a weekend night. The menu was quite extensive so it took some time figuring out what I wanted to try. Rose Falooda: My first time having Falooda, sounded like a perfect dessert in a drink form. It was the right amount of sweetness and great amount of toppings. The rose flavour was nice. I would definitely have it again! Overall, I had a great experience here and would come back again. Good spot for a casual hangout to sit down and chat.

Located in the bustling area of Golden Mile, Chachis Chai is surrounded by a great number of delicious restaurants and tasty snack bars however has definitely continued to be a stand out with their beautiful interior and scrumptious snacks. I decided to stop by after a couple of hours of shopping and needed a quick bite to keep me going. I opted for one of their traditional Karak chais, and a roast beef panini. The Karak chai is definitely my favourite compared to many others I've tried and I could just keep drinking it. The roast beef panini was good, maybe a little pricey for what it is however I enjoyed it all the same. I love the look of this place with a traditional combined with modern interior that is so inviting. Alongside their generous opening hours , you could definitely have a fun hang out here with a group of friends or family and pass the time drinking some delicious chai!

Nice spot for late night chai. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night. They have so many type of drinks including desi style chai, coffee and shakes. The desi fusion food as well. The kashmiri chai was sweet and delicious.

Apparently you can get the espresso decaf. This drink tasted good

I go there and I get a special coffee with lavender in it. I ordered the grilled cheese and the aloo burger . The diameter of the burger is half the size of a fork so you can imagine how small it is, but theyre still charging $8. Also the spicy grilled cheese was very small. It's like a small snack u have while you're driving, just to satiate you until you get home to actually have a meal. Better off having a pack of nuts in your car... Anyways the point is that you can go here for coffee and a dessert but not the food. Not with the servings they're giving. Really nice interior Decor though

Chachi's Chai Bar is a pretty café to relax, socialize and share drinks, desserts and street food! Traditional Masala chai was on point. Their black tea leaves are imported from Gujarat. Their Faloodas are drool-worthy. Next visit imma try myself some samosa chaat and order a Kesari Taj Refresher! It's a cool mix of mango, cardamon, coconut milk, and soda which screams summer!

I honestly thought I had reviewed this place when they first opened up but apparently not! This is a great spot in Scarborough to get your chai on! It's Indian street food with some jazz. It's so pretty inside, plenty of seating to catch up with your friends or just have a quiet moment to yourself as you grab a bite to eat. I always get the Juhu Blaster Lemonade as it's so refreshing and light. Their nasal chai is also quiet nice. And then the samosa chaat is what I order bc I love digging into those big pieces of samosas . I always leave some for the next day bc I love eating cold lol (don't judge lol) . The yogurt/chickpeas and all the chutney makes it a delicious mouthful. The portion is big enough for me for a meal bc it definitely hits that spot!

Loved this charming place! A nondescript cafe tucked away in a plaza, but the interior is wonderful - warm, bright, and cozy, perfect for an afternoon hanging out or working. The tables consisted of a large rectangular one in the middle and several smaller tables at the sides, spaciously situated with an appropriate distance between them. Even when the cafe got busy with customers, the ambience still remained relatively quiet - you could have decent conversations without having to raise your voice at all times. The menu contains both food and drinks. I had the masala chai, and it was great! The regular size is on the smaller side, but the flavours were excellent. I already have my eye on their specialty drinks as well as the beautiful array of pastries in the display for my next visit. Service was welcoming and friendly. Washrooms were clean - although, we did have to wipe down our tables ourselves as the staff did not. Also, our vaccine receipts were never checked - I guess because most people did not come to dine-in. I almost wish I lived in Scarborough so I could have closer access to this place! :P

I was having an evening out with my parents, and we stumbled upon this pocket of Scarborough that I didn't know existed. So many good options! After looking around for a few mins, we decided to have some chai + snacks. Chachi's seemed to be quite spacious inside, and popular, so we made our pick. I'll be honest, it was a little chaotic. It was busier than any other indoor space I had been in at the time, given COVID restrictions. Although everyone was masked, there was little to no social distancing. No vaccine passport checks, and no one was wiping down the tables in between. And no one was at the door managing capacity. It was a cold night, so everyone was walking inside and cramming to form a line. In my opinion, poor COVID protocols. We waited about 15 mins to order, and couldn't actually read the menu until we got very close to the counter. And there were no paper copies we could grab. The overhead menu was a little hard to read with the smaller print, and numerous options. Just focusing on the chai... I honestly had trouble understanding some of the differences. We ordered 3 different chais, and two of them tasted identical. The only differing one was the Kashmiri. They were fine. We also shared a chaat, which was pretty good. There's definitely potential, but it was a bit overwhelming. I would recommend only dining in when they are not too busy. It really isn't a relaxing experience where there's so much movement around you. I'd love to come back at a quieter time and check out a few more items, but for now... a 3 star seems fair to me.

I found out about this place when I visited their food truck at the Night Market Toronto today! Their booth was a cute little black tent located near the exit. I just ordered the chai. It was tasty; tasted like how chai should taste, with the sweetness level of my liking. There seemed to be a few sweets and pastries displayed at the front as well. Loved the service too!

A nice little spot to grab some Indian fusion street food with friends. I tried their butter chicken poutine which was extremely saucy and had a good amount of chicken. I'm looking forward to trying their other items (especially their drinks) in the future!

My friends and I were looking for a chai spot in Toronto and came across this place. It is in a plaza with lots of (free) parking space. I decided to get their specialty chai, Chachi's Chai and a Samosa Chaat. We didn't have to wait long for our order and our chais were out almost instantly. The Chachi's Chai: I normally don't take sugar but this chai tastes so good with 1 sugar. The specialty is the addition of mint in the tea. I have never had mint in my chai, but I must say it tastes very well. Samosa chaat: this was a decent portion for a meal. It had a full samosa with chickpeas, yogurt and chutneys. It personally prefer a little more sweet tamarind chutney but otherwise was very tasty. It also wasn't too spicy. Their sandwiches, tarts and other desserts looked very tempting. Will definitely have to come back for more!
