If you come here looking for the high tea tower it's about $45 and includes some scones and little pastry items with a pot of tea however for $45 you're really not getting much. I found the prices here extremely high for the amount of food that you are getting. I ordered myself a brunch dish with purple cauliflower a slab of smoked tofu and a cauliflower crust however I found the entire dish extremely unflavourful and quite disappointing. Unfortunately this place left a little to desire that day as they didn't have AC so everyone who was there was just boiling the entire time. Couldn't really enjoy the tea experience because it was just so hot. Giving it 3 stars because the decor was beautiful and the servers were kind.

We visited during the HST holiday. When the bill came the HST was on the bill. We asked whether that was an error and the server said "you don't have to pay it". We then said to her that there was an HST holiday enacted and she asked us "so you don't want to pay it". We found this very very odd as every other restaurant we went to had it removed. Also who wants to pay taxes and the question is if the government is not collecting HST does this mean the restaurant is just pocketing the extra amount ? We found this to be very dishonest and will not return. All of our friends were also shocked as were other restaurants we told the story to. Would say if you go to this place check your bill very carefully

Both then and this visit, this shop had a relaxing atmosphere, an inviting and colorful wall of tea and tisane options in glass jars, and very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered three pots of tea and one was a blend of a lime ginger tisane mixed with a sencha cherry rose tea. My household loves this tea and we brought a bag home to enjoy of both the blend and the tisane all by itself. We look forward to returning. We cannot imagine visiting Ottawa without coming here!

I got a tea and scone combo (~$8 after tax) after I found out the scone was lavender + blueberry and came with cream and strawberry jam! For teas, they had several green/black/herbal options, the Casablanca was a light fruity hibiscus tea which was perfect for a hot summer day. I noticed that there were options to get tea for a group 2, 3, 4 which seemed to be slightly cheaper so I can see this as being a good spot to catch up with friends. The warm scone had a light lavender flavour with mainly blueberry chunks and even though my cream quickly melted when I moved onto the patio (limited patio space by the way), I really enjoyed my experience. If you enjoy tea, this is definitely a very cute spot.

I'm pretty sure they started out as a ghost kitchen business only taking orders from Doordash and Fantuan (neither of which I use) but then I saw them pop up on UberEats so I decided to give them a try. When I went for pickup, I asked if you can also order in-store and the girl working there said "yes." I also asked her if they plan to be a regular bubble tea shop with seating and all, and she said "eventually." This is great! I guess they are just slowly ramping up business. I got the Strawberry Trupioca ($8.35) which only comes in large, and is strawberry puree on top of milk with "trupioca" which is their version of agar bubbles. I ordered no sugar, but the drink was still really sweet, lol. I still liked it though. The puree is made of real strawberries. The trupioca were light and springy and popped a bit in my mouth. Agar bubbles are my favourite topping so I really liked it. I just wish they gave me more, haha. Pickup was quick and efficient. It's in a converted old house and is where Bite This used to be and before that, Kelly's Liquidation. I love that Westboro is getting more bubble tea shops. Street parking only, which is a pain in the area, especially in the winter with snowbanks everywhere.

She said it was called Deluxe Purple Yam drink or something like that. It was so tasty. The drink was creamy and thick. It had real taro paste and the tapioca was soft and chewy, but not enough tapioca, haha. The second time she got me a Taro milk tea with sweet purple rice. I loved the generous amount of real taro. The rice was interesting in the drink, I liked it. The milk tea was creamy. These were better than the bubble tea I can get in Orleans, haha. But at least I can get bubble tea in Orleans now, when I first moved here there were no bubble tea stores here, but that's a different story.

I've pretty much been to all the bubble tea shops in Ottawa, so I wanted to try something new, which led me to Gatineau. Bulles et Creme is one of the few independently-owned, non-chains selling bubble tea in Gatineau, so I had to check it out. Admittedly, I found the name funny, as it translates to "balls and cream" lol. I got the small Lychee green tea ($5.50) and added tapioca (an additional $1). I asked for less sugar. The tea itself was fine, but no pieces of real fruit, so I think it's just syrup. And tapioca were chewy but some balls stuck together in clumps. It was also really difficult to pierce the plastic sealed lid with the paper straw. I kind of made a mess, lol. The decor is beautiful. They have an outdoor seating area towards the back. And some indoor seating as well. I think it's a really cute place for a date or to hang out with friends. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. They even gave me a points card. I'm not sure what the reward system is, but I'll definitely bring my points card if I return. The store is in the Canevas Shopping Centre, so there's lots of free parking in the mall parking lot. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui cherchent à se détendre tout en savourant de délicieuses créations.
