Steve told me that would not be a problem as long as I was okay paying a small fee. As we were getting closer, I started looking at the yelp reviews and got kind of nervous, but decided to go through with it anyways. The day of the flight, we got to the airport and waited for the flight instructor to get back from a different flight in the tables and chairs in front of the office. When he got there, he was very nice and grabbed headphones for the flight, chatted a bit, and we were off! The entire experience was amazing! The flight instructor told my boyfriend everything he was doing and explained what all of the things on the dash meant. He told him every move he did with his own joystick and explained everything that was happening over the air control radio. We got very lucky with great weather for the flight and an incredible teacher who I don't remember the name of. Overall this was an amazing experience and nothing could have made it better. The flight instructor was amazing, helpful, and cool, and the flight was super fun. I definitely recommend doing flight training through Executive Flyers because I would absolutely do it again! Make sure to get a pilot's log book before you fly so the instructor can sign off on your hours!

My fiancé is an aviation enthusiast and we have quickly discovered as with most institutions, hobbies, or activities, aviation is a sexist boys club. We have been trying to call and visit flight schools so she could get her license, and on the rare occasion that the person actually acknowledges her presence, she is usually met with condensation, sarcasm, and grief. NOT HERE. The pilot was encouraging, considerate, and respectful to us BOTH. While waiting for my flight one of the owners came in with his family, they were very nice and his wife even gave me some of her candy :) 75$ is a good price to fly in a 120,000$ craft for an hour, and even take control of the stick and navigate over folsom lake. Beyond that they went above and beyond to help us feel welcome into the world of flying. They do flight instruction as well so if you want to persue it, they can teach you all you need to know. They even sell the planes they fly you in, so if you fall in love, you can buy one! This is definitely the best place to have a "discovery" flight to see if in the air is where you want to be!

First they couldn't find our prepaid ticket, which was not a big deal as they finally found it…read more The weather was not good, but they did not want to reschedule. The instructor was late. The plane we were going to use was late getting in. The instructor did not show my son a brief preflight. Returned to the airport early. I was back in my vehicle only 50 minutes after boarding the plane. And the instructor didn't even say goodbye leaving us in the plane. Very strange.
