When we arrived at the Airport we were greeted by our pilot and instructor Jim. He was very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable which made my son feel at ease. After a through lesson and overview of the Cesna 187 it was time for my son take the pilots seat. I was happy to tag along. My son read the pre flight checklist from the POA and off we went. Once the plane was at altitude my son had his chance to fly. He was encouraged to bank left and right and shown how to keep the nose leval. It was very exciting to see my son flying the plane. Sadly after about 20 min it was time to land. Jim landed us safely and beautifully. It was a great experience! I don't know who liked it more me or my son? I encourage anyone who has ever wanted to fly a plane to give it a try. In addition it is a very unique and fun gift to give.Years from now my son won't remember what toys or games I buy him. However, his experience of flying a plane with JetExe will last him a lifetime. Thanks for the memories guys!

December 16, 2017…read more JetEXE Aviation hosted a Christmas party. Invites were sent out, and I RSVP, as soon as I received my invite. The function was held in the hangar. All planes were relocated outside for this event, except for 2 planes. These 2 planes were the back drop, of this function. Welcome, Introductions 630 - 700 pm Drinks & Hors d'oeuvres 630 - 730 pm Buffet - style dinner 730 - 900 pm Door prizes and Silent auction 900 - 930 pm Live band "Golden Caddilacs" 730 - 1030 pm Fund raiser for Charitable 501C3 Snehacare for abandoned children with HIV Http://snehacarehome.org Everything was set up accordingly. They had 3 bartenders, making sure everyone drinks were topped off. LOL The band was playing good music, which had a lot of people on the dance floor, including me and van. The buffet style meal was plentiful and delicious. The line for this meal seemed to flow without hiccups. It seemed Venus was in charge of this department. (she works front desk) Job well done I saw Chris (operations manager) running around and making sure things were in place, like extension cords, to make this event happen.. The silent auctions consist of paintings, trip to Mexico, etc... They also had candles for sale. Not sure up this point how this turned out. Augustine, the owner, greeted everyone, making it such a warm welcoming environment. It was nice to see people involved in aviation and being able to meet them first hand. I booked a flight instruction session as a complete surprise for my boyfriend a few weeks in…read moreadvance and asked if I could go along for the ride as well. Steve told me that would not be a problem as long as I was okay paying a small fee. As we were getting closer, I started looking at the yelp reviews and got kind of nervous, but decided to go through with it anyways. The day of the flight, we got to the airport and waited for the flight instructor to get back from a different flight in the tables and chairs in front of the office. When he got there, he was very nice and grabbed headphones for the flight, chatted a bit, and we were off! The entire experience was amazing! The flight instructor told my boyfriend everything he was doing and explained what all of the things on the dash meant. He told him every move he did with his own joystick and explained everything that was happening over the air control radio. We got very lucky with great weather for the flight and an incredible teacher who I don't remember the name of. Overall this was an amazing experience and nothing could have made it better. The flight instructor was amazing, helpful, and cool, and the flight was super fun. I definitely recommend doing flight training through Executive Flyers because I would absolutely do it again! Make sure to get a pilot's log book before you fly so the instructor can sign off on your hours!

My fiancé is an aviation enthusiast and we have quickly discovered as with most institutions, hobbies, or activities, aviation is a sexist boys club. We have been trying to call and visit flight schools so she could get her license, and on the rare occasion that the person actually acknowledges her presence, she is usually met with condensation, sarcasm, and grief. NOT HERE. The pilot was encouraging, considerate, and respectful to us BOTH. While waiting for my flight one of the owners came in with his family, they were very nice and his wife even gave me some of her candy :) 75$ is a good price to fly in a 120,000$ craft for an hour, and even take control of the stick and navigate over folsom lake. Beyond that they went above and beyond to help us feel welcome into the world of flying. They do flight instruction as well so if you want to persue it, they can teach you all you need to know. They even sell the planes they fly you in, so if you fall in love, you can buy one! This is definitely the best place to have a "discovery" flight to see if in the air is where you want to be!

The plane we were going to use was late getting in. The instructor did not show my son a brief preflight. Returned to the airport early. I was back in my vehicle only 50 minutes after boarding the plane. And the instructor didn't even say goodbye leaving us in the plane. Very strange.

If you want to earn your wings and become a good pilot, look elsewhere. This is no flight school,…read morethis is a scam. I just got the invoice and they charge 75$ per flight to sign your logbook. That generously takes 5 minutes. Often they forget to do it or are so stacked up with poor scheduling they leave it for another day. That's 900$ an hour for activities that never took place! Such a scam! The planes here are unsafe by most standards, they are even rigged wrong. My first day here the mechanic told me he isn't provided a tensiononmeter so the planes don't fly true. They also have out of date electronics and no autopilot. Rob Belme the lead flight instructor here is a slob who trashed his students publicly to other students, he admits trashing students to FAA DPE's, he publicly states how proud he is to run off or wash out credit private students he also plays games in his phone while students are under the hood, not only is this dangerous but the hourly rate is $530. Management even admits his obvious bias but makes no effort to fix it. I've overheard Rob Belme trash female students specifically and gay students and when I reported that to ATP, they kicked me out. This guy holds meetings in the training center where he speaks of defacating on students cars, puting snuss pouches in their sodas to make them sick. I have never been in such an unprofessional and demented training environment. Please consider any other flight school. They will lie about their planes, their instructors, and their timelines. You will pay upfront, and you will regret it. And worse, their lead instructor brags about trashing his students to FAA so as to make sure they never become pilots. Consider yourself warned.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and want you to succeed. They try their hardest to help you along the fast pace program. This program requires your full time and attention in order to get through it. There is an incredible amount of information that one needs to learn but the students and instructors are all there to help. I have flown with the lead flight instructor, Rob Belme, many times and only have good things to say about him. He has helped me in the air and on the ground. He has sat down with me many times in order to explain whatever I had questions about and never complained about doing so. He has an extensive knowledge about aviation and is able to simplify the information so it is easy to understand. He prioritizes safety over everything. Rob, along with the other instructors, want to help those in this program to succeed in making aviation a career. I would recommend this program to those who have the time and desire to become a professional pilot.
