The staff are great and always seem to have a bit of lighthearted banter going on between them and they are only to happy to involve you in it which give the place a nice relaxed atmosphere. Only thing bad that I can say is the shop only sells used goods (not a problem in itself) but it's not clearly stated on any signs outside of the shop so could mislead people.

But as far as video game shops go, the Game Stop on Henry Street is la creme de la creme. Like the other Game Stops in the city, it offers some amazing sales. It has stacks and stacks of games for all consoles. It will give you money for your old video games or you can exchange them for a new or pre-owned game and pay the difference. Game Stop has the same scheme for DVDs which are located upstairs. You can exchanges your old movies for new ones and pay only two Euro. This deal beats any DVD rental place.

CEX in Wexford is a slightly disappointing experience, not made any better by the cramped size of…read morethe store itself; only one person can look at the PC section at one time, as the display is crushed into a corner! The store is okay, it just feels as if you can't have a leisurely browse through the various sections, as other customers frequently bash into you, and if that wasn't enough, CEX has floor staff to fill the last remaining centimetres of space. There's a point of irritation with this store, however, as they frequently request stock from the Dublin store in Liffey Street, stock which has a better chance of actually selling in the capital, might I add. Based on their stagnant levels of stock, it's plain to see that this isn't working. The staff members seem disinterested and distant, which is never good for any business. Be sure to check behind the counter also, as stock that can't fit on the small shelves are usually hidden away on the floor. Like I said earlier, this store is okayish, but nothing worthy of a second visit.

Having found a really funky activity-centre I went to the square and filled out my argos form but after queuing for a while I was told there was none in stock and none of the other Argos's had one either! This despite the online catalogue saying it was in stock. Bummer. So, not one to give up easily I headed across to Smyths. What a difference!!! Not only was I met straight away by an extremely smiley young woman who brought me straight over to the display model it was on sale in smyths for €30 less! Cool! As the afore-mentioned young woman went to the stock room had a look around at the mountains of toys. Kind of wish I was a kid again! To top it all off the lady when handing me my item gave me a voucher for a further €5 off! Now that's service! I will be returning, again and again. Argos be damned!
