It will help you out in the end. My overall review to the store is decent. It had good costumer service and I can guarantee that they are not just chancers. Just make sure you ask them for a preview or test of the device you are buying as most of them are likely second handed or used by someone else before.

Not only was I met straight away by an extremely smiley young woman who brought me straight over to the display model it was on sale in smyths for €30 less! Cool! As the afore-mentioned young woman went to the stock room had a look around at the mountains of toys. Kind of wish I was a kid again! To top it all off the lady when handing me my item gave me a voucher for a further €5 off! Now that's service! I will be returning, again and again. Argos be damned!

I give this review a 3 star because I do enjoy going there but no more because of the condition the consoles/controllers are sold in. I and other people are paying money for a product and when you receive it you expect it to be in clean condition. I'm not saying it has to be immaculately clean but the consoles I received has dust, hair, grime and stains all over the controller and console.

But as far as video game shops go, the Game Stop on Henry Street is la creme de la creme. Like the other Game Stops in the city, it offers some amazing sales. It has stacks and stacks of games for all consoles. It will give you money for your old video games or you can exchange them for a new or pre-owned game and pay the difference. Game Stop has the same scheme for DVDs which are located upstairs. You can exchanges your old movies for new ones and pay only two Euro. This deal beats any DVD rental place.

Prepare to have a minute rant about why you should buy disc protection or to buy a used version or some other USELESS product. They can get pretty nasty if you decline as well. Try to shop somewhere else like Argos because their customer service is atrocious.
