But as far as video game shops go, the Game Stop on Henry Street is la creme de la creme. Like the other Game Stops in the city, it offers some amazing sales. It has stacks and stacks of games for all consoles. It will give you money for your old video games or you can exchange them for a new or pre-owned game and pay the difference. Game Stop has the same scheme for DVDs which are located upstairs. You can exchanges your old movies for new ones and pay only two Euro. This deal beats any DVD rental place.

This store is really well laid out and they keep every segment well organised. The shop is also quite spacious and comfortable. That being said, Smyths is still one of the best toy shops in the country. They have an enormous amount of stock and their customer service is great. Not only that, they also have a 'software zone' which is pretty good for computer games and consoles. I do sometimes go into the Smyths back home for a bit of a nostalgic time wasting. Just not at Christmas. NEVER at Christmas.

I and other people are paying money for a product and when you receive it you expect it to be in clean condition. It generally is a bit more pricey than GAME and doesn;t have great offers. The stock is categorised pretty shoddily and I rarely find what I'm looking for if it's a harder title to find. All that being said, I did buy my beloved Xbox 360 here a few years back and got a great deal, considering how much the Xbox was selling for at the time. It seems you can get a good bargain here if you strike while the iron is hot. Just keep your eyes peeled for the right offer.

The staff are nice enough, but as others have said, their prices are a bit more than GAME, but then again you can sometimes find a sale here you won't find at GAME, it's just a matter of checking sure!
