In the storm we had a tree land on the house, trying to find someone to remove it we asked and call around. My husband is a guy that looks at reviews he found Mr. Steve Briggs yelp rating and was amazed at how high it was so I call but just as we I called the company that was cutting down the BIG tree here on Strieff came by to check on our tree so I hung up the phone. Before the person could leave our home Mr. Briggs called me back so I told him for calling but we had just made a deal with this other company. Now this company told me they would be back in the morning I was pleased with this because I wanted this tree off my house. Ok, rise and shine with the next morning hopefully all will go well. So I start the waiting and waiting now it is 12 something so I text this company that is going to cut the tree. I ask can you give me a time, I get a text back 5 or 6 that evening. At this point I text Mr. Briggs and send him some pictures. This man Mr. Briggs called me back he asked questions had I given money or signed anything I told him no he was pleased. He asked who was doing the job I told him. At this point I said I would cancel them and wait for him he said no they were not the best but they were capable of doing the job and as busy as all the tree services were keep the bird in the hand as even his company would be 3 to 4 days getting to us. But he than said he would come by when they were doing the job and my husband saw him drive past, then he called to ask if the did the job I said yes but they didn't trap the two big holes in the roof this man gave me the number of a roofer. Wow kinds and care without get anything.

This spring I decided it was time for me to find another company to do my lawn service and snow…read moreremoval, because the company I had been using for several years kept raising their prices but lowering the quality of services. I noticed that Bruce Lawn Service was doing lawncare for a number of my neighbors who were very happy with their service, and I thought since they had several customers in the same area, they're prices might be more competitive. I called them to book an initial yard clean-up and get on a regular lawn care schedule. Robert responded to my call the same day and came out to view my property the next morning. We agreed that the property needed a good clean-up, clearing our brush and weeds, and trimming 5 very large trees and 4-5 smaller ones. He quoted me a good price for both the clean up and weekly lawncare. So far I've been very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them. As to customer service, yes we all want everything to go perfectly and as promised, but I think the true test is how the company responds when something goes wrong - for example - the second week of our contract the team didn't show up to do my lawn . . . they usually do our lawns between 7:30 am - 8:00 am on Tuesdays. I noticed when I left for work that they had done my neighbors' but not mine. I saw the team further down the street and stopped to ask them, and they said I wasn't on the route list. I didn't argue, I just made a simple call to Robert and advised him what had happened. He apologized and said it would be corrected and wouldn't happen again. When I got home that night my lawn was done - and it hasn't happened again. As for their billing/accounting system - I receive a monthly bill via email and I pay using the payment link on their website - it easy and simple. I find Robert and his team to be responsive, polite, and professional and they do a great job. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them for snow removal if they have room on their schedule.
