Jesse is the real MVP! A close family friend recommended him. Our water heater went out Saturday afternoon, we purchased a new water heater that evening, texted him Sunday in hopes he could install and by Monday morning we were back up and running with hot water! We now have a plumber that we will not only recommend to everyone we know, but will be contacting for all of our plumbing needs! Thank you Jesse! read more

What a great plumber. We had Citywide Plumbing in San Bruno come out last week to fix our pipe and it was a disaster. They quoted us $275, charged us $460 and didn't even fix our sink, in fact, they made it worse! Our friends recommended Certified Plumbing. They came out a day after we called, snaked our sink from the garage and only charged us $180. Amazing service. Will continue to use them for our plumbing needs. read more

Jesse's first visit was for a free estimate for an install of a tankless water heater service valve kit. Came next day on time and finished in an hour. Very clean soldering job, polite, and fair price. 12 yrs experience, only 1 yr being in his own company. We did a gentleman's handshake agreement, but he will pull permits, written estimate and receipt if requested. Highly recommended! Face it you don't want the cheap plumber with bad soldering do your water or gas lines. This guy is fast and clean. $200 /hr or higher is not uncommon. Parts are good quality and not contractor's specials that will break in one year. I could have tried DIY, but would have taken me the whole weekend to finish. This guy is worth the money in time, quality, promptness, and genuine pleasant trustworthly guy. Now I can enjoy the afternoon with my ugly furry son. read more

Certified Plumbing & Rooter - Tankless water heater service valve kit install - Plumbing Near Me

Amazing!! These guys came to my house, assessed the problem, fixed it quickly, and I wasn't broke after! They also explained everything to me during the process, which I loved! I don't like it when workers come and just do the work without explaining anything. They even showed and explained how the pipes work, how the washer is connected to the kitchen sink and everything else in my home. These guys are friendly, efficient and I highly recommend them to my neighbors! read more

I texted Jesse late last night, he called and arrived at my house at 10:30am this morning. It was originally just to do an estimate, but the job was just small enough and he had the parts. He was in and out by noon. He knowledgeable, honest and explained everything clearly. Thanks! read more

Certified Plumbing & Rooter - Plumbing Near Me

Certified Plumbing's five star rating is well-deserved. We've called them a couple of times, for a clogged shower drain and kitchen sink. Each time, Jesse was professional and personable. He does quick but thorough work, cleans up afterwards, and charges incredibly fair prices. I appreciate that he takes the time to explain what's wrong, what he did to fix it, and if there's anything we can do to keep it from happening again. I've recommended Certified Plumbing several times, and would not hesitate to recommend them again and again. read more

WOW!!!! We called Sunday evening to get help with a non-emergency issue (though one we wanted fixed sooner rather than later) we started to experience with 2 of our toilets. Jesse and an assistant (sorry hubs didn't share his name) came out Monday late morning and quickly remedy the situations and offered suggestions to prevent reoccurrence going forward. They also checked our line to the street and confirmed that all was in top shape. :) Hubs was so impressed he tipped them both! We've found our plumbers should another issue arise & highly recommend Jesse and CP&R! read more

Jessie was extremely fast with the quote. He showed up 45 minutes after my call and that was only because I needed time to get back to the house. He was available in 10 minutes. I received quotes from two other plumbers. The price was in the same range as the others but a little better. That wasn't the actual reason I went with him though. He was very clear on the cost and there was no uncertainty in the quote while the others gave a 'neighborhood' figure. On top of this, he was a very friendly guy. The work was completed the next day and done professionally. read more

The water plunger float thing in my toilet sprang a leak and was spraying water out of the back of the tank. I called Jesse and he tried to help me figure out what it was over the phone in case it was a simple hose disconnected. In my case it wasn't the hose but a different section and the whole plunger float thing inside had to be replaced. He was able to come same day, within an hour, and it took him less than 15 minutes to replace the thing and also replace the line from the pipe to the tank. He was quick, priced fairly, and did great work. I also appreciate that he was willing to help me over the phone in case it was an easy fix. Thank you, Jesse! read more

We chose this plumber based on the great reviews, and everyone was right, Jesse is indeed the Prince of Plumbers. My mom's shower hadn't been snaked since the Carter administration, I'd just dropped an earring down the sink drain, (an earring my brother gave me that I actually liked), and he dropped the toothpaste cap down there. I figured some alligator was wearing my earring by the time I called the plumber. Not only did Jesse get the shower in proper working order in lightening speed, he managed to vacuum up my earring and the toothpaste cap. He is very easy to talk to, the kind of person you feel like you've known for a long time. We will definitely call Certified Plumbing & Rooter the next time I drop something down the drain, which should be any day now. Highly Recommended! read more

Jesse went above and beyond. Saw the job through. What a great guy, and knew how to solve the issue. Highly recommended. read more

Last year we had plumbing emergency on Sunday night, the problem was fixed but only 10 short months latter the same thing happened again. Thanks that it wasn't Sunday night again but Tuesday morning. I was able to do quick yelp surch and after reading so many good reviews for Certified plumbing I decided to give them a call. Jesse was fantastic, he came quickly, give me a far quote and after I agreed with the price he imidietly started work. He was very professional, explained what caused the problem and fixed for les than 20 min. Jesse thanks for the good service. read more

Jesse is very genuine, helpful and knowledgable. We actually made an appointment with him today to get a quote on a bigger job. He honestly gave his opinion on the job even though it's actually out of his service area. He encouraged us to get more bids on the job and advised us on the strategy of how to do it even though he's not getting the business himself. Moreover, last night we found our shower room got backed up pretty bad and drained really slow. Jesse came to rescue! He's able to unclog it for us and the price was the best we've got so far! My husband had another guy come in couple weeks ago to unclog a bathtub and that guy charged about 46% more!! ouch! Jesse will definitely be my go-to for any plumbing issues and I will not hesitate to refer him to all my neighbors! read more

My kitchen sink was slowly draining. We tried to fix it ourselves with a 25 ft hand snake, bought a 50 ft snake that did not work so finally decided to called a plumber around 2:30pm. The first Plumber couldn't come out for 2 days. So I called Certified Plumbing and was given a 30 minute window the next morning from 8 to 830am. They arrived at 8:20am and the kitchen drain was cleared in no time. The crew was professional and I would definitely use them again for any plumbing problem. I highly recommend this company read more

Jessie arrived at my house within 45 minutes of my distress call to him. My sewer had backed up in both bathrooms and I had a real mess on my hands. Jessie investigated the problem and found what needed to be repaired. He installed a clean-out valve on the outside of my house, which included digging out a shrub and digging down to the sewer line. He did a wonderful job and all systems are working great now! He left the outside as clean and neat as he found it. I can't thank Jesse enough for coming to my rescue. He is a great guy and knows his "stuff". I highly recommend Jesse and will certainly call him again. Thanks Jesse for a great job! read more

I really studied yelp reviews on plumbers and this is seriously the best in the area. Same day - came out to fix our toilet issues (swear it wasn't me...our kid flushed baby wipes down the toilet). Also, we called another place and their quote was $100 more. Very honest and very thorough. It's nice to see that still exists. read more

Just had Jesse come out to a "quick" job at my house. I called him because I read all of the great reviews here and I figured some of them must be right. I was wrong ALL of them are more than right! Jesse came out on time; he was pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. He went over and above what I expected him to do and even tried to charge me LESS than what He had originally quoted. I will not be calling anyone but Jesse moving forward for any of my plumbing needs. Five stars hands down! read more

Jesse truly is "as good as it gets"! He arrived today (within the promised window of time) to fix a broken drain lever in a shower. It looked a bit hopeless without a very expensive repair - ugh. But, Jesse tried and tried and was able to fix it at a much lower cost - I was thrilled! Jesse's expertise shines through, and he's professional and so nice too! This is our second time using Jesse (the first was a plumbing issue in the kitchen where he again did a great job at a reasonable fee). We'll be using Jesse for all plumbing issues going forward! read more

Jesse was extremely professional and helpful for my situation. He did the work that was needed and suggested ways to prevent a recurrence and postpone the need to do a full replacement at a cost of many thousands of dollars. He also advised me regarding some sink and faucet maintenance that I will attempt to do myself. If I prove to be unsuccessful I will certainly call Jesse to do it for me. Top rating for honesty and integrity. I highly recommend and will use again. read more

I'm adding my voice to the many happy customers who were provided service by Jessie. I called because my kitchen sink was backed up and my husband's attempts to fix it didn't work. Quick=check (left a message which was returned within 5 minutes, showed up at my house within 45 minutes) Professional=check (introduced himself, explained clearly what procedures he would take) Competent and thorough=check (quickly identified and fixed the problem; explained clearly the solution and confirmed all was working well) Honest=check (if offered to give him a tip and he declined, stating that it was already included in the price). I now have his card taped to the inside of my kitchen cabinet so I can easily find him next time there's a need. read more

So very, very sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. He was a great plumber and a very kind human being. Condolences to all of his loved one's. He will truly be missed. read more

Jesse is the most honest and reliable plumber I've ever met. Not only he's a professional but he's also super nice and responsive. He did a superb job cleaning the sewer line and didn't charge me extra with troubled roots. Highly recommend him and don't bother look elsewhere. He offers the best prices in the area. read more

I found this company on YELP and checked the company on the Better Business Bureau site. BBB - A+ rating and all 5 star Yelp reviews - and definitely well deserved. Professional, friendly, fair prices and Jesse was even able to get the job done the same day we called. I could not have asked for a better experience. The next time I need a plumber, I'll definitely have Jesse and Certified Plumbing & Rooter at the top of my call list. read more

I don't normally do reviews this is the 1st time! I had a water leak on shut off valve, I went on yelp and found Certified Plumbing around 8:30 I called and left a message in about 10 mins I got a call from Jessie. He said he will be at my house in less than 20 Minutes he came and Fixed the water leak!!! The best part he didn't even charge me!!' How awesome is that!!! He said it's a minor Problem didn't need to pay!!! Jessie is the guy!!! I will definitely refer him! If you want honest and professional plumber you can rely on, Jessie is your guy!! read more

Jessie has been our plumber for several years. He has always been available and dependable. He is trust worthy and his prices are fair. We have an old home that needed the shower hot/cold valve regulator fixed and Jesse replaced it at a much more reasonable cost ($75.00 vs $1,200.; yes really) (as quoted by another plumber) AND most importantly we did not have to tear out the beautiful 1935 original tile to do it. That generic valve replacement is still working 10+ years later! read more

Jesse was extremely responsive even though he was on another job site. My water heater failed and he was able to get me a reasonable quote with a good turn around. I would highly recommend him and use him on other plumbing needs. read more

My kitchen sink was backed up, and dishwasher was overflowing! I tried baking soda and vinegar, I tried a whole thing of Drano, and it was not helpful. I waved the white flag and decided to call Jesse, at 7:30am. Jesse called me back shortly after, and quickly came over to help me with it, and It was done before my workday even started. He's super friendly, extremely efficient and professional, and he is amazing!!! It also didn't cost me an arm and a leg as I was anticipating. He was so kind to even tell me my actual neighbor is also a plumber (oops? I never knew!) But it doesn't matter now-- Jesse is my new go-to for these issues now. Thanks Jesse for helping me today! read more

Excellent response, showed up the day after we talked on the phone, earlier than on time, and inspected our sewage system for a great price. Even recommended another plumber for the city encroaching work. Thank you Jesse! read more

So glad we found Jesse! He's come out several times for "emergencies" - first was the garage sink, then a quick simple repair to our front bathroom toilet before company arrived and recently replaced our water heater. He's honest, professional & hard working. Jesse is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things to you. Thanks for taking care of us Jesse...you're the best! read more

Jesse is awesome. He's done 2 jobs for me so far clearing a main pipe. He's professional and has reasonable rates.

This review is long overdue, but Jesse is not only a quality plumber, but a quality guy. Over three months ago, wife and I closed on a house and had our firstborn baby in the same month. Needless to say, we were too busy with baby to take care of house. But the house had a major sewer blockage and other plumbing issues. Based upon other reviews, I called Jesse and he came out and took care of our problems. He worked with me to arrive at an affordable solution. Jesse is a hardworking and knowledgeable plumber, who goes about his work with integrity. It's like having a friend as your plumber. If I have any plumbing problems, Jesse is the first guy I'm calling! read more

On Sunday, we had a leak, or gush, in our water heater. I had looked on yelp to see what my options are. Jesse answered the phone and was really polite. He asked me to send him pictures of the inlets and the gas hookup for the existing heater, and told me the price. When he got there, on time, the next morning, he went right to work removing the old water heater. He did notice that some of the plumbing was not straight, so he cut the pipe and made it correct. He also helped anchor and secure the water heater better as we are in earthquake country. Jesse was a class act and very professional about things. I didn't think he was trying to pull any wool over me or upsell me in things I didn't need. He estimated 3 hours and finished in just over 2. I have saved his number in my rolidex and would call him again for my plumbing issues. read more

Yelp works! I called these folks first, based on their #1 spot and all of the excellent reviews. I'll share some details, but the bottom line: call without hesitation. Technical expertise, significant experience with and knowledge of the geographic area, clear and frank communication, and a wonderful disposition. I'd recommend Jesse 10 times out of 10. We had a garage/washer and kitchen drain issue, which Jesse pretty much diagnosed over the phone. Luckily, he had a hole in his schedule and was able to start working on the problem less than two hours after my call. He ended up doing a lot of under-sink replacement, cleared the clog, and stuck around to make sure all my questions were answered and that there were no leaks or backups. Vendors get no better. Excellent service, strong expertise, clear communication - all wrapped around very fair and competitive pricing. read more

Called Jesse this morning about replacing a leaking kitchen faucet. He shows up right on time at 10AM. Had the old faucet removed, install a new cold water valve(at no charge), and install the new faucet all in just a little over a hour. great service. had the chance to work with jesse. he was courteous and called to let me know he was running 5-10 mins behind. he explained everything and showed me what was happening. he was receptive with any questions i had. and he was straightforward and made me feel comfortable. bonus for not acting like because i'm a girl i'm not mechanically inclined. double bonus for calling a couple minutes after he had left to let me know that the door to the garage (where he had accessed an outlet) was still unlocked. i will be calling him again. read more
