He told me to call him when we were out of baggage claim. In the meantime, I got a message that a different driver was on their way to pick us up at the new anticipated time. The driver was super friendly and understanding when we apologized about the situation. Fast forward to scheduled pick up from hotel to be take to the airport at 4 Am. I was texted at 3:30 that our driver was on the way. I stood outside of the hotel until 4:05 when I called and said "hey we were supposed to be picked up at 4 and our driver isn't here" I don't think they remembered. I read all the positive Yelp reviews, and it sounded like a great deal - transport to the airport in a limo/town car for just a few dollars more than a cab. I checked out their website, saw that it would be just $20 from OB/Pt. Loma to airport for up to 5 people, or $30/hour. Their website encouraged customers to book online to save up to 10%, so I did, and promptly received an e-mail confirmation, so figured we were all set. The car was scheduled to arrive at 8 am the next day to take us to the airport for our international flight (I scheduled it to first pick up my mother, about 1 mile away, then us, then to the airport). At 8:10, I called my mom. No car. I called Green Transportation - no answer; left a voicemail. I texted them (they claimed they were available by text 24 hrs/day); no response. At 8:15, I drove to pick up my mom, bring her back to our house, and called and texted Green to have them come straight to our house. No response. At 9 am -- an HOUR after the scheduled time, they still had not arrived. The 5 of us wouldn't all fit in one cab, so my huband drove us to the airport w/ all our luggage; I called Yellow cab to pick him up at the house; he drove back home, dropped off the car, and took Yellow cab back to the aiport. Fortunately, Yellow Cab got him to the airport in time, and we all made it though security and caght our flight, but what was supposed to be a fun start to our Spring Break in an enjoyable town car/limo ride to the airport, turned out to be an incredibly stressful series of events and questions -- are they going to show up? Are they not going to show up? How long should we wait for them? Are we going to miss our flight? Are they going to call back? Should we call a cab? Two cabs? Are they out of business? If they're out of business, why did we get an e-mail confirmation? Once we were through security, I called Green Transportation back and asked them to call me back and give me an explanation of what happened.
