Okay, I don't like to write bad reviews, but, WOW. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I will say that my carpet wasn't in great shape: Four kids, two cats, a new puppy, and more than 13 years in the house will do that, and I understand there's only so much you can do. However, this was a disaster from the jump, and for the price (I'll get into that in a bit), I expected at least a decent level of professionalism and competence, and we got neither!! We got the initial assessment and quotes, and I decided to go ahead with getting all our wood floors cleaned, the carpets cleaned (including, I thought, the edges near the walls, which were dusty), my shower tiles cleaned, and some repairs made to the carpet in a few spots where the cats and dog had done some damage. (We had a swatch of original carpet that the builders had left behind.) So, the appointed day arrives, and our tech informs us almost casually that if we wanted our wood floors cleaned, "sometimes they forget to tell you" (That was you, dude!!) that you can't step on the floor or put any furniture back on it for 24 hours. Uh, that's most of our main living space, and how are we supposed to tell our cats and the dog that the floor is now lava for 24 hours?! Fortunately, he said that before he started on the wood floors, so we decided not to go ahead with that. Then there was the shower. Noooo noticeable difference when he was done. Finally, there's the carpet: "Well, I didn't bring the tool for the edges. It's in Georgia." Wha--okay?! "Also, if I have to move anything, there's just me, and it will cost extra." He had mentioned this earlier, and we had prepped as much as we could. Fine, whatever, but I noticed later that I'd forgotten to put a plastic container of cat food aside that weighed maybe half a pound--AND HE HAD CLEANED AROUND IT!! And then we get to the repairs. Okay, he'd warned us it wouldn't be perfect, and I totally get that. However, he informed us that he "didn't have the right kind of tape, so I stopped at Lowe's and got some, although I'm not sure if it will hold up to vacuuming," (?!) and . . . by the time he was done, it looked like a drunk five year old with a glue stick and an Exacto knife had been left alone with the carpet by an irresponsible babysitter!! He spilled glue on parts that were clean, left glue exposed around the edges of the parts he'd "repaired," cut a jagged line in a new section THAT I HADN'T ASKED FOR next to the original bad spot, and it looked so bad that when he left I wanted to cry!! The spots he'd glued down didn't last even 24 hours before they came apart!! And all this cost us more than $1,000!! I mentioned it in another review, and the company gave us a small discount . . . and then sent the same guy out to fix it!! This time he showed up with the tool to clean the carpet edges . . . and informed us, ominously, that "it wouldn't be perfect" (Oh, god, I've heard that before!!), and that it would cost us another $975!! Uh, no thanks!! Then he proceeded to cut out slightly larger sections of the carpet swatch, use what I can only assume was his same glue stick, and then leave us with basically the same jagged strips (not surprised) that look almost as bad as before. We have covered the worst parts with a rug, but I wish to high heaven that we had just rented a Rug Doctor and watched a carpet repair video on YouTube and done it ourselves!! So, again, save yourself some grief, AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

I inquired about a Facebook special. I was assured several times I would be getting the special. when they arrived the price jumped up by $100.00. He ended up doing it for $80 more due to adding some "deodorizer ". The young guy was trying to rush through the house and just get done. The older guy seemed to have more work Eric and be willing to help. I am very disappointed with the "cleaning". I will never try this again. it's all a scam. when you call them out on the scam they either give lace blame on someone else or insult you. very unprofessional. read more

Eco Clean Carpet Solutions did an amazing job on our carpeted stairs, bedroom & hallway! We have a very hairy pug which makes for hairy carpets. We have also been having a lot of food traffic up and down the stairs, making for ground in dirt. The stairs, bedroom & hallway looked like new after they finished! I try and clean when I have plenty of time for the carpets to dry and make sure they suck up as much water after they clean as possible to make sure it reduces drying time. I hired him to clean a carpet area that had 'visted' by my cat. I had tried several times to get it clean using one of those rentals from HomeDepot. He cleaned the bedroom carpet AND the cat visit! WhoHoo! No more cat smell! So I figured...what the heck! If I could give them zero stars, I would. I purchased a Groupon from Priority Cleaning (which I have learned is the same company as Eco-Clean) months ago and had them come over and clean the tile in our kitchen. The cleaning job seemed to be fine so I hired them to clean and seal our new hardwood floors. I explained to the person who cleaned the kitchen that the hardwoods were exotic tiger wood and they were very expensive and brand new so we wanted to be exceptionally careful with them. He walked me through the entire process of what they would do, how they would do it and promised me that they would look good. A different person showed up to clean and seal the hardwoods and my impression was that he did not know what he was doing. He wasn t able to answer my questions and seemed concerned with doing the job quickly and leaving. Long story short, my floors looked AWFUL when he was done. I was assured that the floors would be completely cleaned before they were sealed but they were not. There was some dirt and residue glue from the installation that was subsequently sealed into my floors. In addition there were several spots that were missed and the floors had large streaks and circle marks all over them. I contacted the company and they sent the original person who did the tile in the kitchen over to fix them. This individual stated that he could not spend the time to get all of the glue up but would do what he could . He stripped the product that the previous person put down and started over. Overall this entire process was a disaster as I still have glue and dirt sealed into the floor becasue it wasn t done properly. Not exactly what you want to have happen to new floors. Also, the kitchen floor that was cleaned initially has adjacent rooms with wood floors and there are several spots on which the tile cleaner was spattered onto the hardwoods and discolored them. Ruined in spots. June 2013: I purchased a sofa-cleaning Groupon from Eco-Clean and set up the cleaning. I explained to the person on the phone that I had a Groupon, she said great and set up the appointment. I scheduled time off work to be home to have the sofa cleaned. Prior to the technician showing up for the appointment I received a message from him stating I need you to call me about the sofa cleaning . I called him back and he stated that he didn t know why I had set up the sofa cleaning. I said : do you not do sofa cleanings? Him: yes Me: then why are you calling? Him: Because you said you had a Groupon Me: OK, is the Groupon not good for sofa cleanings? (Throughout most of the conversation he is rude and abrupt and doesn t explain what the problem is) Him: yes, it is Me: OK, I still don t understand why you are calling Him: You are a previous customer,this offer is only good for new customers Me: I ve never used Eco-Clean Him: We did your floors Me: I don t recall using EcoClean and I don t think I ve ever purchased an Eco Clean Groupon- do you go by any other company names? Him: No (A LIE) Me: So, can I not use the Groupon that I purchased? Him: No. (but he would clean the sofa for the full price if I paid the difference between that and the Groupon- SCAM) I went back through all of my Groupon purchases and I purchased one Groupon from Priority Cleaning and then used Priority Cleaning for my hardwood floors. I have NEVER used EcoClean for anything and it was a complete sham that I was not allowed to use a Groupon that I ve purchased from this company. Also, NOWHERE on the GROUPON SITE ARE ECOCLEAN AND PRIORTY CLEANING LINKED. Therefore, why would a technician tell me that they don t go by any other name, but I can t use a Eco Clean Groupon because I have used Priority Cleaning previously. So, they get your money and then tell you they won t do the cleaning with the Groupon, that you have to pay extra to have it done. POOR RESULTS, RUDE, AND A BAIT AND SWITCH SCHEME WITH GROUPON. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. Poor job. Grout is only clean in spots. We asked them to quote the shower while they were there and the guy didnt have the tool to do showers. Not sure why he couldnt quote it. They called for a follow up to see if we were happy with the service. I told them the grout really wasnt clean. Still discolored in several areas. They said they would send another tech out to redo it. We scheduled. They called back to cancel and said for me to call back with other days that would work. I called back and they took my message. After a month of no calls back, unlikely they will come back to finish the job. Dont waste your money or time. read more
