I was thrilled when I saw it. My daughter-in-law was ecstatic. The price was reasonable. I am incredibly disappointed. For over $150, I expected a professionally designed roses arrangement…read morelike on their website, not a pile of grocery-store quality Chinese roses thrown into a vase. The stems weren't even cleaned of excess leaves, and there was no structure or design to the bouquet--just a messy bunch. It looked like it was assembled in five minutes by someone who doesn't care. This was a total waste of money.

I ordered what appeared to be a beautiful, lush flower arrangement from Lisa's Gifts and Flowers…read morebased on the professional photos and detailed description on their website. The images showed a full, vibrant bouquet with specific flowers, colors, and an elegant presentation that looked perfect. The price was on the higher side, which I expected would reflect premium quality and reliable service. What arrived was a complete letdown. The arrangement was sparse, wilted in places, and used entirely different flowers and fillers than what was advertised. It looked like a last-minute, low-effort substitute thrown together with whatever was on hand. The vase or wrapping was also basic and unimpressive compared to the marketing images. This wasn't a minor variation due to "seasonal availability" - it was fundamentally not the product I paid for. To make matters worse, I received zero notification or contact about the delivery. No phone call, no text, no email alert letting me know it was on the way or had been left at my door. I only discovered the disappointing bouquet hours later. For a service that positions itself as convenient and thoughtful, this complete lack of communication is unacceptable. I understand substitutions sometimes happen in the flower industry, but reputable companies clearly disclose them in advance, offer options, or at minimum reach out to the customer. None of that occurred here. The end result felt careless and disrespectful of my time and money. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment - look for a florist that actually delivers on their promises and communicates properly. This experience has left me regretting the purchase entirely. Would NOT order again.

I then received a text and a phone call as they were arriving. She knocked on the door and waited for a response. My sender received a text and a picture of the delivered flower box. My-my. Quite thorough. The Florist box was packed very professionally. Inside was the greeting card from my gifter. Then paper wrapped around the bouquet. Cellophane wrapped the flowers, tied with twine. A wet spongy wrapped the stems, tied up with plastic and a rubber band. These flowers were not going to escape!! I believe it was the "treasure" bouquet. Roses, lilies, eucalyptus, etc. Looked fresh and lush. Smelled fresh. Very nice arrangement. I would recommend.

The floral bouquet lasted for less than four days. When a phone call was made to the store regarding the delivery and poor quality of flowers there was no action or apologies made. It was stated that the delivery service is the only one in the city and is contracted out. As for the flowers, four days was the normal length of life for a bouquet. The attitude of the shop was unacceptable and very concerning considering they are in the service business. If I could rate the shop as a zero, I would.

The said they tried calling the recipient numerous times to confirm the delivery but couldn't get a hold of her. I said she never got a phone call. The delivery was supposed to go to her office on Broadmoor Blvd. They said they didn't know it was a business or where Broadmoor was as their an Edmonton based company and said the flowers would be delivered on Monday. I said that wasn't very good when a sympathy bouquet would be delivered a week later and asked for a refund. They refunded the money and that was that. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in the customer service. If they couldn't get a hold of the recipient, they should have contacted me. Unfortunately there was no apology or anything said or done to reclaim the business. I do not think I will be using this company again or will recommend them to anyone. Stick with Growers Direct!
