Really? When I had the credit card receipt to show them? This place has very incompetent and very unfriendly workers. So now I have to go and dispute the $10.00 overcharge that this very rude Speedway gas station in Berrien Springs has exhibited. Yesterday, I stopped there around noon, stepped out of my car into what I thought was a puddle of water, but turned out to be a puddle of gas. My shoes were soaked in gas. I reported this to the cashier, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I am concerned that there was no awareness on the station's part for safety , and also am pretty annoyed that after soaking and washing my shoes, they still smell like gas. I stopped in yesterday and a very cheerful lady was behind the counter ringing people up. I grabbed a order of cookie bites that advertised $0.05 cents off fuel with purchase and she inspected the receipt and noticed it wasn't on there. She suggested that I call their Customer Service department and ask about the discount, but not thinking, I walked out and dropped the receipt in the trash. My fault.. but I appreciated her looking at it and noticing and calling it out to me.

They used to be called Flying Jay, but changed the name to Pilot maybe a little less than 10 years ago. I think Flying Jay Truck Stops still exist but Pilot is owned by the same company. I only say it still exists because the pizza boxs say both names on the box. I will also say, they do tend to have fairly clean bathrooms and the staff has never been rude. I also like that they sell dvds here, as it's where I bought the bulk of my Criminal Minds dvds.

The hot food at Krispy Krunchy Chicken also didn't look super impressive. Their bathroom was clean and they weren't busy so there was no line, which is always a plus. We wouldn't avoid this place when in the area but we wouldn't purposefully stop again.
