I was going in a few days a week, but I won't anymore. I stopped in for a bottle of wine and a couple other things. Three young women were in front of me and overcharged for frozen pizza. They questioned him and he said it was for a different pizza, but then they went over to the cooler and it was priced $5. He did not adjust the price for them. They just kind of looked at each other and left. I was next in line and decided to look at my receipt. I too was charged more than the listed price in the cooler for that wine and another item I bought. I pointed it out and all the cashier said was they were adjusting the prices for the season. I said that they needed to publish the correct price then. Nothing. Crickets. No adjustment and no apology. Barney's is only a couple miles, so I will just go there from now on. Check your receipts, but good luck getting them to make good on it.

The marquee sign has a note stating 10 cent per gallon discount for cash on gas. I paid the cashier…read more$20 and went to pump my gas. No discount applied. I went back into the store and asked where the discount was. The cashier told me the discount is not for people who prepay (but not before she fumbled over her words, so I suspect if I didn't prepay she would have told me the discount was only for prepays ). The same cashier made a mistake punching in my $20 when I entered the first time, therefore I simply do not trust her statement and think the marquee sign is a big lie. I am not sure how the discount works if you don't pay first. How is it applied then? This place false advertises and the cashier was too shady to be able to explain the discount in a way that makes sense. Buyer beware here! They lie.

I frequently stop at this station on my way to/from the Grand Rapids area from the Chicago area…read more Usually, the station offers reasonable accommodations, though the restrooms sometimes need attention. Yesterday, I stopped there around noon, stepped out of my car into what I thought was a puddle of water, but turned out to be a puddle of gas. My shoes were soaked in gas. I reported this to the cashier, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I am concerned that there was no awareness on the station's part for safety , and also am pretty annoyed that after soaking and washing my shoes, they still smell like gas. I tried to call and talk to the manager today, but the call was not answered.
