We had a problem, our car started smoking from the hood & the check engine light came on. We were on the interstate highway in Stevensville on our way back to IL. The tow truck picked us up. The owner,Al asked us what happened & said they would check it out. They found the problem & fixed it. We called them from the road at 5pm on a Saturday after getting a flat tire on I-94. We put on the spare and drove to their shop. Our tire was beyond repair but they sold us a used tire, same size. Waited over 2 hours to get a few tires patched and got charged $50, make sure to make them tell you how much anything is gonna cost before they do it because this is ridiculous, most places do them for free or $10 a tire. Yikes read more

Set up an appointment three days in advance and explained to them my situation: I needed a wheel bearing replacement, and my only available hours were between 8 am and noon because I had to go to work after that. They said they will get it done and might take a little longer, depending on what else may need to be done. I thought "okay great". My appointment day comes, I bring the car in at 8 am, and three hours later I called and asked for an ETA and they said they hadn't even started it yet and the car wasn't in the building. They didn't sound apologetic at all and were very unprofessional with the interaction. Will never go there again read more

My parents took their car there for years.. when I visited I took it in for them and was really surprised how fast they work and charge fairly... they even took me back home and picked me up when the car was finished.. Some things like a bulb replacement or engine analysis test they will do while you wait.. .. The manager said one tire was low that I didn't even notice and he filled it right up..The really are a good maintenance garage and can repair darn near anything that runs on wheels.. read more

My sister and I got a flat tire on the side of the highway at 11 p.m. on a Sunday in the middle of a thunderstorm and extremely heavy rain. Brad came out to tow us very quickly and did a very quick turnaround of changing out the tire. My husband and I have always taken our cars to P & R and we have only had minor issues. Overall, we were pretty happy. That is until today. My son Justin who is 20 took his Mustang in to get the window fixed. He got a call from them that it was ready. So we dropped him off. He paid the bill and drove off. When he went to lower the window it made a lot of noise and he saw a bolt moving on the window. He texted me and I told him to take it back and show them. My son was really upset. He bought the Mustang with money he saved from basic training and AIT last summer. I sat in my car and watched as my son waited outside at least 20 minutes while the technician went to get the "manager". Al the owner finally came out. All I could hear was swearing out of Al's mouth. The young men he had working for him were all laughing behind him. I got out of my car and walked up to tell my son to basically cut his losses. Sometimes you get really bad service and no matter how hard you try or how upset you get they don't care. So, my son left. I watched as Al went back to his young technicians laughing about how he treated my son. I pulled up to ask if there was something we could do to fix it. I got out and heard Al still going at it so I decided to get back in my car and go home and never bring my business to him again. I'm not going to say my son handled it appropriately. He was upset. He felt like he was getting cheated. But, I was ashamed that AL a grown man behaved the way he did not only to my son a customer but he did it in front of all his young apprentices. He led by a very poor example and will never get our business again. read more
