Update: ceramic pro 5 stars - Art their installer 5 stars. Art (owner of ARTints and installer for ceramic pro) does excellent work on tinting. I've taken 2 cars to him - But he made mistakes, was not truthful, waterlogged the insulation of my BMW, damaged my WPF (heat etched) during tint installation on my GX, said he would replace it and didn't, and in so doing wasted a lot of my time. I wrote a 1 star review - but truthfully that doesn't reflect his skill in tinting. It reflects his mistakes and short comings, which I hope he learned from. I erased my 1 star review and giving him 5 stars with the hope that he doesn't repeat the mistakes. Im still not happy with what was done to my WPF. It was $350 of damage. But I sincerely want Arturo to be successful for him and his family. Ceramic Pro tinted the windows on our ne 2026 CT5-V, (all but the windshield). After going over the various options for tint level, I chose a 55 for the front and a 35 for the back. The work was completed in ~3-1/2 hrs and it came out looking great. Their shop is neat and clean and they offered the best price for a quality ceramic tint out of 4 total bids I got. Prior to getting a new car I was unaware that Ceramic Pro coating existed for cars. I searched SLO for someone to apply a wrap on my front end and apply this coating that is a "Game changer." I found Pismo Detailing and Window Tinting and was immediately impressed by their website and customer reviews. I called and spoke to the owner of PDWT and immediately knew I had found the right place. For those of you who are new to ceramic coating I'd seriously suggest watching the before and after videos online of cars that have been treated with this substance. I brought my car in to have it detailed and I was greeted just as friendly as I was treated on the phone. People talk about the price for this treatment, and the great thing with Pismo Detailing is that you choose the amount and level of application that you're comfortable to spend. There's literally something that can be done to your car in every budget. The great thing with this shop is that no matter how large or small your budget your car is handled just the same. I didn't go to the top end, but I didn't start at the bottom either and I truly appreciated the owner supporting my choice. They simply want to do what's right for you, it's refreshing. With the fit and finish now complete, it's been a month with me driving around in my sparkly shiny car. The detailers did a "Paint correction" which entails buffing and polishing the car and then applying this glass layer shield to help the paint against the elements! My first day, a seagull dropped a bomb on my back windshield and it literally just wiped away without any residue left on the glass. There are no water spots (My biggest issue) on the car whatsoever. It's been a month of my car looking sharper than when I drove it home from the dealership. The last thing I want to touch on is the wrap that went on the front end to help protect against rock chips. To show the professionalism of this shop, when I picked up the car, the owner wasn't 100% satisfied with the install, to me it looked pristine perfect. I was told that car detailers as a whole are a meticulous group of people, but in the end it benefited the look of my car. You leave with a warranty and certificate that is registered with Ceramic Pro that can also be applied to your CarFax to help with value. I purchased Ceramic Pro's bottle of "Care" to help with anything that gets on the car. Even 1 star would be too much, based on my personal experience; i was looking for a shop close where i live because i did not want to drive out of my town, which after this episode , i ended up to do and i found 2 magic shops (already posted the reviews) I drove to pismo detailing shop with my car and i met ( i think the owner) . He was very kind and estimated the job after checking. We agreed for price but the time was not the best for me. So kindly he offered to sent to my house his mobile dent removal , dr. dent, and a week after he invited me to his shop to install the clear bra to complete the job . I left very happy and i could not wait the next monday @ 1.00 pm when dr.dent was supposed to come to my house and do the first part of the job. Time came with no actions. I waited til 3.00 pm and i called the shop .I found answering machine and i left a polite message . I have received no reply the same day , the day after , the following weeks and so on , neither from the manager/owner of pismo detailing , nor dr. dent, like i m sorry we had an unexpected situation or such. Not sure why and I have chosen this business based on the reviews. I m still speechless for what happened. No etiquette, no professionalism , absolute nothing. As an owner of a new (black) Tesla I knew it was important to get some PPF and ceramic coat on the car as soon as possible. I'm over the top happy with the results! My car was SPOTLESS inside and out. Kevin is so meticulous and easy to deal with. I took my car back for its first wash today after its coating and PPF and the wash was complimentary! I love taking care of my own cars and I think Kevin is as OCD as me. No high pressure sales pitch for any extras. I will definitely have him detail the car when I'm pressed for time. Also looking forward to having him take care of my husband's Honda S2000. Definitely worth the drive from SLO. If you've got a car that needs detailing/coating/PPF this is the place to go. This place is the best! I am not joking. I had my car detailed at home a few years ago, and although they did a pretty good job, they left a mess in my driveway. After that, never again. I stopped at Pismo Detailing a few months ago and saw their immaculate detailing space. Seriously, you could eat off the floor it was so clean. I booked an appointment for a full detail and I was floored. My car was returned in literally showroom condition. It was full of dog hair and whatever genius they have in their employ somehow got every single hair out of my car. I couldn't believe it. The rest of the detail job was terrific. They got every gross bug off the paint, the side mirrors, and the front license plate. The car was spotless inside and they did a great job of putting some sort of wax or coating on the outside. The wheels were immaculately clean and the tires dressed to look like new. The entire job cost $275 and I tipped the poor guy who had to de-hair my car $25. He should have gotten a medal in the Olympics of dog hair removal. They also provided a ride home when I dropped it off and delivered my car back to me. Highly recommend! read more

I went to Pismo Detailing for the clear bra to protect my new-to-me truck. I forget the mans name who helped me through the process, sorry! but he was super friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything before they got started. My truck looks brand new now! I wanted protection from rock chips Im super releived knowing that it's protected now. I went for the partial front package that covers the front half of the hood. I was a bit worried at the start of the seam across the hood being an eye sore, but I had to balance the budget and my F250 has a huge hood. the cost to do the full hood was too much for me, but the seams are only noticeable if you look real hard for them. Pismo detail shop does great work I should say unbelievable work they make our Vehicles look new again. I took in my old 2000 four wheel drive truck and it came out looking brand new. I take this truck to the beach, Mountains, snow everywhere not just the boulevard what I'm trying to say is I get it dirty. I had the full detail. They did the engine compartment steam clean the seats and rugs and waxxed the paint. I must say I Can't Give Them Enough props I'm taking my boat in next and can't wait to see the results. I recently bought an old SUV that needed some serious interior work. It was disgusting on the inside. I could barely ride in the thing from the dirt and smell. When I took out the passenger side seat to have it worked on, I almost tossed my cookies from the filth and old french fry that had turned a nice shade of green. The exterior was in decent enough shape but was also dirty and starting to fade and had really just never been cleaned or waxed really. Well, the vehicle I got back was just not the same one I brought in. It took them a good day and a half and it was short of a miracle on what they accomplished. I chose to go with the clay exterior cleaning as well and the finish on the car is now silky smooth. I was so happy with how they turned this old classic into a gem, and all at an extremely reasonable price for the work they put in. I still can't believe how clean the interior is now.
