I went back for cleaning with Robin, she explained how she uses water pik instead of scraping with tool, explained why and the benefits! She was very considerate of my sensitive teeth!! I love it here!! Highly recommended! But book in advance Dr Stanleigh is very busy, but Dr Lee is good too, and less busy schedule!

Soon thereafter my mobile rang and it was the SL office. Then, feeling tense I have to say that within seconds I had an uplifting and inspiring conversation during which I was made to feel at ease and ended up making an appointment. After the consultation I was again reassured and started treatment. Here I have to say that for my peace of mind dental work at SL is absolutely possible in every which way. I no longer go there and will not…read morerecommend any friend, family and acquaintance to visit. the only thing that is good at this clinic is Lindsey the hygienist who is excellent and with great result and conscious of the comfort of the patience through skill not just words. A professional. Dr Schade is good at general dentistry but not domestic dentistry. My bioclear job was botch. I look like a poor Senior citizen who went to Mexico and got a botch Denture job that the shape, color and thickness does not suit them. They look thick and artificial. We attempted to fix three times and it still looks amateur compare to my friends who got them done by an experience dentist in Vancouver. Throughout the process was also amateur the assistant is too lazy to use a high suction to suck the dental dust. ***dental dust can cause lung cancer especially with the amount that I was exposed. If I ever get lung cancer I will remember to come after you two. My teeth look like arts and craft. Mid line was curve and force back with contouring. tooth was chipped in less than a few weeks from uneven molding. None was redone but filed away. Teeth was uneven length. I ask for redone, some are partially redone. They are NOT experience and Does not have eye for beauty/ proportion. I had to ask for redone the thickness and color they said at first no and then redone but still look ugly. The assistant Shelby was pushing me to get the retainer and said it is good enough of a job to suck up to the Dr to shut me up. I hated the laziness and the pressure to settle on the half ass job. All she does is shine Kevin's shoes. After three tries I still hate it and will proceed to correct it with another doctor. What a waste of my time and money. They try to say this the best they can do or risk back looking like the thick veneers. My teeth look forced/ fake/ uneven thickness and color. my teeth still snags when flossing. I hated the bioclear and the whole experience. Even after a 2 month from the last visit my gum is still red on the contouring side and bleeding. they damaged my gums. They damaged one of my lower teeth and now it has a hole or mis drilling and contouring. My canine broke off a piece within a few weeks and they just files it away and did not add a piece back so it looks slanted with a piece missing and got filed down. They should have redone from scratch instead of forcing and adding to the mistake. They kept saying they will fix it but it was never fully fixed but just adding to the mistake. I also hated when they ladies at reception look at my designer bags and try to snoop and dig info / pry. It is very personal and I do not need to share about my job or bags. You can work hard, save the suck up and gossip and get your own bag. I hated the substitute hygienist that splash water all over my face, in experienced and force plastic film that made me gag and tells me I m a gagger and push it down. If you don't know how to do. You ruin people's teeth and I spend a lot of my savings on my teeth. I rather donate the money to Unicef than have gotten bioclear and ruin my teeth. I worked hard to save money to improved my teeth, but all I bought in the end is disappointment, damaged teeth and increase risk of cancer from the bioclear dust exposure.

A number of years ago I switched from being a long time client at another dentist office. I had no concerns with this dental clinic but decided to find one closer to home. I was not disappointed with my decision to change dental practices. The staff have all been great. At my most recent visit, Melanie took care of me. She really deserves a shout out. He said we needed perfection. The last time I had my teeth cleaned, I was scheduled for 45 minutes, but it only took 30 min. and the cost was adjusted accordingly. Today, I was expecting that a crown would have to be removed in order to fill a cavity beneath it. The cavity was able to be filled without damage to the crown. Dr. Hwang explained what he was doing each step of the way. I felt comfortable during the procedure and would definitely recommend Dentists at Beddington Heights to others.

The other hygienist wasn't as good and I was not happy with the treatment. I contacted Corinna and she said she was let go 2 weeks prior with no explanation. They just told her they weren't renewing her contract. I asked if Dr Orth was still there and she advised he was gone as well. I was shocked that the office is not informing their clients that both their dentist and hygienist are no longer in that office. I won't be going back.

I asked him if this is a common thing to happen, and he asked me how long ago it was done. I told him a year ago, and he confirmed then, that no it was just a sloppy job then. Or maybe this is another way Dr orth tries to make money? I did call several wks after he filled it, and informed front desk that I was still quite sensitive after a few weeks, the girl on the phone told me that's just the nerve dying and the pain would eventually subside. They could have tried to book me in to take a look, but no. And then my new, fantastic dentist had to properly fill it. So I was billed twice for the same cavity to be fixed. No one wants to visit the dentist. When Dr. Patel is looking after me I feel completely comfortable. I literally feel nothing when she uses the needle to freeze my mouth. During the entire time my comfort is what's most important. "You're going to feel a pinch." "You're going to feel vibration." "Are you doing OK? Just raise your hand if you want me to stop." "Now I'm going to do this." And so on. With past dentists I would have a sore jaw and gums for days after. Not with Dr. Patel! I no longer cringe at the thought of visiting the dentist! The dental hygienists and front desk staff are just the icing on the cake. Fun folks but still very professional!

Dr. Art Piercy Owner ---------------------------- He flat out refuses to give reasonable rates, graduated in the 70's and feels his "experience" allows him to "price gouge." Keep in mind computers didn't even exist back then. Previous Employee Tells us How it Works --------------------------------------------------------- Art bills each "dentist" a set fee for each procedure they do. Ex: Root Canal, (3 roots/filling) Art gets $1148 for everyone sold and the dentist gets % of what's left over. They charge $1500 PLUS $300 for the filling. Each "dentist" is billed out at full rate, No matter the what country or year graduated. Your Dentist will try to max your Insurance --------------------------------------------------------- Look for a dentist with reasonable rate. Retail price for root canals in Edmonton around $500 and Calgary around $1000. One of art's "special root canals" will cost you $2000 and will max out most insurance plans. I put natural polysporin on the spot and it healed within a week. 2)One tooth in front got a filling ....while they were checking my bite they took too much of the tooth off... now it's uneven compared to the other side. And make my two front teeth look like I have buck teeth /chipmunk. tooth was cut down too much. in the dentists defence--- Half of my mouth/face was frozen and shifted to the right due to my neuro-muscular response to freezing and any work /forced opening of my jaw (tmj and oa) done on my mouth/jaw-- it wasn't going to be a proper representation while frozen and I tried to explain that. Love this place!…read more The people at the front desk are so lovely and always greet you with a smile. The dentists are very nice and any assistants are always open and happy to speak with you. Everyone here is so lovely and so nice, it's very refreshing to come by for an appointment! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also have forms you can fill in online prior to your appointment to speed up the waiting time. Everything about this place is great.
