I regret not taking his name for this review but, 'The Guy' (you know who you are) was very pleasant and attentive. His station was some ways away from our lane. Despite this, anytime we ran into trouble (e.g. when a pin got stuck) he already spotted it and promptly started working on resolving the problem. There were a lot of attendees but the venue didn't feel overcrowded or uncomfortable. Everyone from the teens to the seniors was well-behaved and had a grand time. The venue was clean (including the male bathroom) and lively. Both the bar and the mini restaurant were open. We ordered fries and chicken tenders. We received our meal quickly and it tasted well. "I'll be back!"

Every time we asked for help or needed something we were treated poorly! Spoken to with attitude and sarcasm! I was told each child would get a pass for a free game of bowling (we didn't get them)! Now I have to drive 25 minute to go pick them up! I can't even give them to most of the children because they live over an hour away! The pizza was over cooked, like to the point it was rock hard! How do you give that to a toddler??? We weren't given any utensils, we had to hunt them down ourselves, they didn't give us enough cups, plates or napkins! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I stopped by Talon's Pub and Grille at the Eagle Crest Golf Club for an early dinner. It was very hot and humid outside, so this was a good place to take a break and stay cool. I took a seat up at the bar and got a food menu and specials. I started out with and ice water and Shrimp Tacos (3 for $9 plus tax) on special served with sour cream and mild salsa. The 3 grilled soft tacos were each filled up well with tender grilled shrimp, lettuce, shredded cheese and pico de gallo. These shrimp tacos were very good. Next, the French Dip ($13 plus tax) served with beef broth for dipping, choice of side (I chose homemade macaroni salad) and a dill pickle. The French Dip sub had plenty of thinly sliced grilled beef & melted Swiss cheese on a soft toasted sub roll. The homemade macaroni salad had a light mayo base with firm elbow pasta, chopped red peppers, onions and celery. Both the French Dip and macaroni salad were spot on in taste and portion. I was very stuffed and got the check which was $23.54 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food I ordered exceeded my expectations for taste, portion size and price. The service here was prompt and friendly. I would definitely stop here again whether it's after golf or just driving by.

The outside and inside is extremely well kept and it is a fantastic venue for a holiday party. It was well decorated, the wait staff was very friendly, the food was great. It was a nice wide open environment for us. We had ample seating down stairs during cocktail hour, and a beautiful plated dinner upstairs. The down stairs had a gorgeous full bar, a full sized pool table, a nice fireplace with comfortable couches and a small dance floor. It was a fun place. I hear the downstairs even has a bowling alley! I can't say anything about the membership of the club, or the price it is to have a party, I can just say it is a beautiful venue and they hosted a fantastic holiday party for my company!

Sitting on the deck, the views are awesome watching the golfers approach the nearby greens and enjoying the beautiful scenery. What a great way to relax and talk about your recent round of golf. Jessica and her staff did an awesome job taking care of us. They were super friendly and very accommodating. And, the food was great! I saw a lot of empty plates, including mine! Our group comes from Albany NY so it is an hour drive for most but its definitely worth the easy ride on I90. Go play golf at Canajoharie Golf and Country Club and stay for a bite to eat and beverage on the deck at Greenview Restaurant!!
