Please retrain Kenia Sibai on how to properly provide customer service. She was extremely rude, condescending and lacks professionalism. Would not work with her again. As someone who also works in customer service you would think she would be more respectful to potential customers. Ew. read more

This company is amazing! I highly recommend them. I sold my home very quickly, and the communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I felt completely comfortable and at ease. Thank you all again for everything! read more

Absolutely awful... Stay away! I signed a contract with them.... only to be ignored entirely. They wanted nothing to do with me. They never answered the phone when I needed help...And now that I have a new agent, they refuse to let me out of the contract! So now I have to get a lawyer and file a complaint to the state board. This has been an awful experience. There's a lot of agents in the Myrtle Beach area... go elsewhere. Margaret McBride has a disciplinary action against her license. She can't be trusted, and her record reflects it. read more

We decided to sell our home in The Farm and met with several agents and after doing so decided to list with Greg Harrelson. Mr. Harrelson and his agency marketed the house well and it led to an offer we accepted. During the time we had the house listed we ended up dealing mainly with associates from Greg's office, something we were not made aware of at the time we listed the house. There were some issues during that sale that we worked hard to resolve in order not to lose the deal. It turned out that the buyer was being represented by an agent within the Harrelson group and it felt that our interests were not being well represented at times. There was also on ongoing lack of communication that led towards some frustration on our part. This lack of communication continued up and through the closing of the sale and this was even acknowledged by Mr. Harrelson. Even after the house closed (almost a month ago) we never heard anything from Greg or his team by way of a congratulations on the sale or a thank you for listing with them, even after paying them $15,000. read more

Where to start? First, as bad as these reviews are, the service and professionalism you'll find with this agency is even worse. I bought a property listed with Hunter Baiden. The house I found was a relative of his. I only found this out by finding his name scribbled in the concrete patio. He denied knowing anything about the house even though he obviously lived there. He represented me as a buyers agent, but obviously only cared about the interests of the seller. I wouldn't have really cared if he hadn't been so deceptive. He promised a lot of things to me when we wrote the offer. I asked a couple times...shouldn't we have that in writing? No he replied it won't be a problem. Well, pretty much everything he promised, didn't happen. He seems to have a problem with the truth. Most of the things he lies about weren't big items. Why lie? I guess some people just rather lie than tell the truth. Stay away from this agent, and this agency. You won't here back from anyone if you complain. They don't care. I never heard back from the office Broker/manager or Greg Harrelson. The transaction coordinator didn't seem to know what she was doing and didn't get back to me with answers to my questions. This is just a terrible agency. Use them at your peril. read more

Incredibly unprofessional agency. I hired them to help us sell and purchase property. I experienced all of the negative experiences that other individuals have posted. After I met with the agent and signed the contract, I never heard from her again. Everything was handled by an associate, which was never communicated to me. We received pushback on everything we asked our agent to do. They are only interested in closing the deal quickly and moving on. They will NOT represent your needs. During the process of selling and buying, they were incredibly unprofessional and rude. We also never received a thank you after our property closed. This seems to be the culture at C21 Harrelson Group, since this isn't about one agent, but the entire firm. There are several agencies to choose from. Stay away from this agency! read more

i would add since this incident we were let out our contract for free once i contacted the board; i guess it helped to document how they were treating me. century 21 went above to keep my business and switch offices. i did use century 21 but broadhurst. my realtor- we are friends till this day! big difference it is a huge difference in the office google for yourself to confirm read more

Wish I could give 5 but I can't I found the realtor less than responsive. Only saw her once. I was however treated very well by support staff and the attorneys office. If you want a realtor who will regularly update you this company is not for you. To add insult to injury I didn't get so much as a thank you card. $8000 in commission. read more

I am a real estate broker in Virginia but we own an oceanfront condo in Myrtle Beach. I had previously listed my condo for sale with another firm but we took it off the market last year since we had a snow bird for the winter. We received numerous calls from agents from the Harrelson group, which is fine. Most of the calls stopped when I told them I relisted with a different firm. However, one agent, John Senk, has continued to call and send emails, after telling him NOT to contact me in any format again. THIS WAS AFTER I MADE IT CLEAR I WAS IN AN AGENCY AGREEMENT WITH ANOTHER FIRM. That is a clear violation of the code of ethics. I made it abundantly clear to him that I was not happy with his approach and would NEVER use that company for any real estate, and after copying my agent on firmly worded emails to him and after unsubscribing THREE times from his emails, HE STILL CONTINUES TO TRY TO CONTACT ME. I called the Myrtle Beach Association of Realtors, and the person there gave me the name of his principle broker, and I left a message for her asking her to please get this under control. Much to my surprise, (said in a sarcastic tone) I have not received a call back and the emails continue. It is quite clear why this firm has a total of 2 star rating! read more

Would not recommend. They took.our listing never placed signage at our property never updated us with status. All communication was initiated by us, promises made that they would do better and marketing strategy was to drop price to get activity. The job needed was real estate sales and waiting for customers and letting the internet do the work seems to be the approach. Very disappointing as they tout themselves as the best and the story is convincing..fool me once. read more

Greg Harrelson has realized that I am serious about getting these annoying calls stopped. I believe perhaps in an effort to resolve this, Mr Harrelson has sent us a photo of our home phone number with a strange person's name that we do not know, as was given to his staff by a company called "Been Verified"in NYC. Their name is at the top of the photo he sent. He states that is where his company obtained our number. We contacted this company after researching their questionable reputation on YELP. Been Verified's website leads you to believe that you can remove your information from their site to include numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry that Been Verified should not be giving out. Guess Been Verified does not verify the info they give out ! Guess Mr Harrelson and his group should have read the YELP comments before they hired this company ! FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION PRIVACY, IDENTITY & ONLINE SECURITY A 'versatile' way to get around the Do Not Call list SHARE THIS PAGE Facebook Linked-In March 12, 2014 by Cristina Miranda Consumer Education Specialist, FTC Some companies can be very sneaky these days. Especially when they buy lists of consumers' phone numbers from companies that falsely claim those consumers had given written consent to get sales calls despite being on the National Do Not Call Registry. According to an FTC settlement, Versatile Marketing Solutions ("VMS"), a seller of home security and monitoring systems, did just that. VMS bought phone numbers from "lead" generator companies that blasted illegal robocalls and fake home security survey calls to identify homeowners who didn't already have a security system installed in their homes. VMS then called those people to sell them home security monitoring services despite two important facts: their phone numbers were on the National Do Not Call Registry, and none of them had given VMS written permission to call. VMS knew that the companies from whom it bought the phone numbers were engaged in illegal activity because, when VMS made their calls, many people responded that they had been contacted illegally. Despite numerous complaints, VMS continued to call these illegally generated leads, resulting in millions of unwanted calls to consumers on the National Do Not Call list. VMS also called people they had called before and who had asked not to be called in the future. Should you find yourself in a similar situation, here's what to do: File a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. If you get a sales call after your number has been on the list for 31 days, complain to donotcall.gov, or call 1-888-382-1222; it's toll-free. If you answer a telemarketing call, don't give out your personal or financial information. Treat your personal and financial information like cash. Don't divulge information about whether you own your home, what you have in your home, alternate phone numbers, your birth date, social security number, or credit card or bank account information. Hang up on any robocalls. If you answer a robocall, don't respond to any automated instructions. In particular, don't press any numbers, even if they say it is to get more information. Doing so may be taken as "consent" to use and sell your phone number to another company. File a complaint with the FTC online or by calling 1-877-382-4357 or TTY 1-866-653-4261. Same here, they don't communicate with the seller after they get your listing. Not one sales agent from their office has shown our home since we signed on with them 5 months ago. Same issue as the rest. Still continue to get repeated calls asking if I want to sell a property I do not own. I can't believe this company is not under investigation by the license board. A listing by them that was an unfinished single home under construction caught my interest. We viewed the home and it was 80% finished and was being sold "AS IS". We even spoke with the owner who claimed to be the builder. We made a cash offer that was accepted. No lender will loan on an unfinished home. Our only concern we put in the contract was that all documentation requested would be provided. The offer was accepted. Yea! We had a home. We requested the architectural drawings and confirmation of what had been signed off on the build permit and all sub-contractors used. Kind of needed to know what was needed to get a Certificate of Occupancy. (The only way to move in and live there) None of that was provided in 2 weeks. Brendon Payne handed everything off to a subordinate. We got little or no contact from Century 21 and the listing agent, Brendon Payne. We looked up the contractor of record in Horry County. It was not the owner as we were led to believe. After repeated phone messages to the contractor of record unanswered over several days, the contractor would return my messages to me and when he did answer once and I introduced myself as the buyer, he hung up on me and turned his phone off. I submitted a letter of withdrawal the next day. After 16 days the Law firm holding our earnest money filed in court as to how to disburse the earnest money. Our agent had been pushing the listing agent Brandon Payne for a release of the funds from the seller for 2 weeks, as he did not provide the documentation requested. The seller and listing agent failed to perform!!!! The listing agent must have informed the seller that he didn't have to give it all back and seller only released 1/2 of our $1500 . I couldn't wait to go to court as I was putting in another offer on a different home from out of state. There is some sort of a scam going on there I believe. Just my opinion. Stay away from C21 Harrelson Realty... read more

I recently purchased a Myrtle Beach golf course condo. I did all the negotiating from my home in NY just taking a quick weekend trip to Myrtle to see the property before signing the contracts. My agent was Vicky Valentin. Vicky was great. I "bothered" her every day during the condo search, negotiating, and purchase process and she was always there for me. She went and personally checked out over a dozen places for me on her own time without a complaint. At times I was a bit demanding. I had her cell number and spoke to her almost daily. She was always receptive and ready with a kind word. When the negotiating got a little heated she was totally for me and wasn't just looking for a commission. She made a potentially stressful long distance deal quite comfortable. I am an attorney here in NY and I have dealt with many real estate agents in my 35 years of practice and I must say Vicky has been one of the best. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more
