Right after New Years I purchased my 2nd Weber grill (my first Weber grill lasted 10 yr) & it was a cheaper lighter version called the Q-grill. Right away there were problems with the gas feed but after having a similar Weber model for 10 yr I went thru standard checklist...switch tanks out, check ignition etc but it intermittently became worse. Finally it gave up the ghost in April. Called Mike, Manager & he was super, informed me there was a Weber Repair guy who now came out ti fix your grill ON WARRANTY. I called Weber 800#, Dominic said 'no problem' in 7-10 days a repair guy would be out...well he WASN'T. Called Weber, left email messages for Dominic, then received a cryptic email from a Chris saying 'Oops, Dominic told you a white lie, we do not repair the (cheaper) grills oh, & BTW here is a list if part #'s that you can BUY to try to fix a 4 month old grill.' Excuse me?! Not acceptable guys! Called Mike at ACE AGAIN & he said 'no problem, bring it back. Robert, his boss at store, great guy, took care of things. He is a grill aficionado (said he has 4 grills at home) & understood I was in withdrawal from not having my grill for 4 months. Did I say it is nice to know we have an ACE of this caliber right in our back yard? ...Think I did ...TWICE. P.S. Shame on Weber for treating a return customer this way.

As I walked down the aisles I found 8 in a circle just complaining about work in a manner you really don't want customers to hear. I spent 15 minutes grabbing what I needed and went to ask an employee a question and he's wearing not one but two earbuds and replies "WHAT?!" Do I really need to explain what's wrong with this? I've also never seen so many employees in a workplace on their phones, I feel like I could have even stole anything and not gotten caught. And one last thing, this is by far the dirtiest hardware stores I've ever seen, not even close!

I stop by Ace approximately once a week and each and every time I have been greeted by multiple people and been directly to exactly what I needed each time. On one occasion, I overheard what I assume to be a manager or maybe the owner talking to an obviously new employee and everything was all about the customer On top of ALL that. Today I was going to work on the house after work putting in subfloor and hit the end of my box of screws. I needed screws and couldn't continue on without them. It was 7:55 and I live 12 minutes away. I called and spoke with Doug. I explained the situation and he said he would save me a box of screws for me to come pick up about 10 minutes after hours. This is customer service at its finest. Thank you Ace!

You literally CANNOT choose not to participate in their begging game. I refused to hit the 'no' button last time and the cashier insisted it had to be me to opt out of the donation. I pushed her on that and she eventually hit the 'no' button herself. How weird is that? I choose which charities I donate to and don't appreciate having that shoved down my throat. She told me their computers lock up until a choice is made, which sounds like a program problem on their end, not my problem. I just want to pay for the stuff I am buying. End of story. Finally, discouraged they have no riding mowers in stock, only push mowers. I try to avoid big box stores but away I go. It's spring and the grass is growing. Guess they lost a $3K sale. Guess they don't care. Guess I don't either.

ORDER # WN61377548 I…read moream writing to express my frustration with Home Depot's delivery process and the complete disconnect between what is advertised and what is actually provided. I placed an order specifically because the website offered next-day delivery. That delivery commitment was a significant factor in my decision to purchase from Home Depot. After placing the order and receiving a confirmation email, I reasonably expected Home Depot would fulfill the delivery service that was advertised and accepted at checkout. Instead, I later received a phone call informing me that the order could not be delivered until several days later. At no point during the ordering process was I informed that the advertised delivery date was not actually available. Had I known the true delivery timeline, I would have made different arrangements or purchased elsewhere. What was even more disappointing than the delay itself was the apparent lack of concern regarding the situation. There was no meaningful apology, no attempt to acknowledge the inconvenience, and no sense that Home Depot understood why a customer would be frustrated after placing an order based on a delivery promise that could not be honored. This is not simply a matter of a delayed order. It is a matter of advertising and accepting orders based on delivery commitments that apparently cannot be fulfilled. Customers plan projects, schedules, and personal time around those commitments. When the promised delivery date is not realistic, it should not be presented as available during checkout. After being informed that the order would not arrive as promised, I chose to cancel the order. Unfortunately, the interaction left me with the impression that the cancellation was treated as routine rather than as the result of a failed customer experience. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occasionally affect deliveries. What is difficult to accept is presenting delivery dates that cannot be met and then acting as though the resulting frustration is unreasonable. I hope Home Depot takes a closer look at how delivery dates are presented to customers and how these situations are handled when expectations are not met.
