You just have to have patience and be kind to people while waiting in line. Several people on here claimed they waited in line for 45mins and the employees were rude....Lol....I only waited for 10 - 15 minutes each time. Time flies fast when you are talking with people next to you. The employees were very helpful and nice. One of the cashiers gave me a free small ceramic Christmas tree set because the tip was broken. I guarantee the people who are complaining are liberals and don't like Hobby Lobby because they are Conservative and Trump supporters....,Lol

However, the customer service I received from Carina, the cashier, was so herrendous that I will not be returning. The 1st incident... I stood next to my mom with my shopping cart as we were discussing other items I needed to purchase from another nearby store. Right before I could finish my sentence, Carina LOUDLY said, "Ma'am, we only have one line so please get behind her." I mentioned we were together and she ignored me. 2nd incident... While I was shopping, I found a toy in the clearance section that I wanted to buy for my Special Education class that would have been a GREAT non-edible reinforcer. When I told her I got it from the clearance section, but it didn't have a tag... Right away her response was, "Well another customer put it there." I responded with, "Well there were about 3 or 4 of the same toy in the clearance section. So, if it isn't clearance I don't want it." She told me she'd check. She called someone and hung up and said, "Like I said it isn't clearance and someone put it there." I let her know again, "Then I don't want it." As she finished ringing me up, I asked, "Do you have a teachers discount?". Very rudely, she said you need a teachers card. So, as I reached for my ID badge and said, "Like my ID?" She rudely said, "No, a teacher debit card." I explained to her that wasn't a thing and the majority of school district uses PO's. She completely rubbed me the wrong way from when I first got in line until I left. Tried to see if I could contact Hobby Lobby, but they only take phone calls or you can physically write a letter. Maybe you should have a survey on your receipt, so Ya'll know how your employees are treating customers. The people stocking the store were much more helpful and cheerful than she was. Maybe Carina should be pulled for a bit, if she can't show GREAT customer service.

I placed an online order for chipboard and paid with a gift card. While picking it up, I realized I…read morestill needed paper and accidentally bought more chipboard in-store. A manager standing by offered to return my online order, saying the money would go right back on my gift card so I could use it on the paper. She was wrong. Then she blamed it on "e-gift card" policies. If you don't know how things work, don't offer solutions. I didn't ask -- she stepped in, gave bad info, and left me stuck. Do better, Michael's.

The cashiers have to go on the floor and verify and then I'm not giving you the sale price even though it says it they says in the wrong spot the cash register is not ringing up the right stuff. The shop is clean and neat and is set up very cute. We made an appt with Kathi and met my daughter…read moreand future son-in-law there literally just time, as they had driven down from OR for a visit and pick out their wedding invitations. Kathi was very helpful in picking out colors and font/designs that compliment each other. The invitations come in packs of 25, we ordered 3 packs. Total 750! A bit shocking, but my daughter loved them and had just spent 2 hours in the shop picking out the perfect invitations. Once the invitations were ready my mom picked up the two bags and brought them home. I noticed there were several small boxes. Opened the first one...glue dots! What in the world? Now, I'm a scrapbooker so before opening the other boxes I knew...we would be putting them together!! So, we paid 750 for some beautiful purple and gold glitter card stock!!!! Oh and the wedding info printed out on cream colored card stock. It was not at anytime conveyed to us that we would be putting together the invitations. For this price we should've had them completed and in envelopes, these are not bought from Hobby Lobby or Staples for goodness sake. Nor were they ordered online from a "printing" shop. 3 stars for cleanliness.
