started out great but then went to shit 6 months before they closed up shop. Once had great…read morecustomer service and then they got a don't give a damn attitude - sold stuff they couldn't find - no refunds

In the past year, I have been the greatest fan of Adam and Cameron at Fresbid! I have recommended…read morethem as I felt they offered the best value for auction site in Fresno. They were notably polite and professional, and I've commented on that on more than one occasion. However, an auction last month had me showing up to pick up items (they know I drive 2.5 hours to get to Fresno) that they did not actually have. No problem, Cameron wrote a note to Adam, in my presence, to credit me the two items the following Tuesday when he does his credits. Unfortunately, of the remaining items unpacked upon getting home, two more items did not work. I called Fresbid and was able to schedule to be there the following Friday at 3:30pm to exchange, as they are very common items. That Friday, I called as I reminder that I was driving to Fresno, but only got vm that their voice mail is full. The door was locked at 3:30 on Friday. Many, many calls I have made (the vm is been full for the last 2 weeks now) ALL have gone nowhere. 2 more trips to Fresno, one of which I was able to catch Cameron in, who wrote another note to Adam to credit the 4 items now (I returned the non working items to Fresbid with Cameron) and no response. (In full disclosure, Cameron did exchanged one non-working item for a similar item that, turns out, also DID NOT WORK!) Multiple texts to Adam directly requesting a response have ALL gone unanswered. Too many hours driving to Fresno, too much time on the phone calling and texted. I can't justify anymore time on this. All I can do is be upfront about this experience. I'm truly disappointed, and cannot do business with a company who is ok treating their customers in this manner.

I've had some good experiences in the past, but things have gone downhill. First, they don't have…read moremany options these days for auction items. Next, I have bought things from them online, but the wrong item was in the box when I picked it up. Their only response was that I should have came onsite to review the item before purchase. However, nowhere on their website is it stated that there is an opportunity to come onsite to review items. I informed them of this, but they did not care. Recently I also purchased another item, and it had an Apple Air Tag in it. Now I don't know if it was stolen (air tag placed by a victim), or who my be tracking me and know where I live (air tag placed by a potential criminal). I reached out to them with this concern, but did not get a response. Most recently I tried to schedule a pickup, but their were no time slots available. Their site states that you are supposed to schedule your pickup appointment prior to the auction or the day off. But allowing people to schedule pickups prior for items they don't win is what fills up all the appointment slots with people who don't win items. It is a bad practice. I called and asked them if I could schedule an appointment, however their only answer was for me to was their appointment availability online in hopes that an appointment becomes available. This is not acceptable either because they charge you extra to ship items if you don't make an appointment to pick it up. I did check back, and the only availability was an unideal appointment. I had no choice but to grab this appointment ASAP. I checked back an hour later, and a better appointment became available. I tried to take that appointment instead, but they would not allow me to. They said this was because my invoice was tied to my appointment. This is untrue, because my invoice was already paid separately. All then sent out regarding the appointment was an email confirmation. It seems they are unwilling to take simple efforts to help customers, thus they must not care much about customer retention, which you think would help them generate more profit with competitive bidding. Some simple system and process changes could go a long way to improve their business, but there does not seem to be a willingness to improve. There are better auction sites around.

Overall this place does a great job! There is plenty of…read morevalue in most all the things they offer. Their service is great regarding most of their employees. There is a couple of them that could do a much better job with how they handle and speak to their customers.

Jeff Baird ran a great auction. He had something for everyone. They had some great deals in exercise equipment. I wish I had the room for it. I've attended Bairds Auction for years now. There is ALOT of inventory with which to deal, so there is a wide variety to look through. As a consignor too, only 2 pieces I brought in to sell disappeared. One was stolen by a person looking at the lots before the auction. Today there are preview hours, security cameras, employees at posted watch points and loyal customers who would not only turn the thief in, they would handcuff her too. Just sayin'. I never brought the subject up with anyone there. I knew they would not handle it responsibly. I agree that the owner is full of himself, that is his charm. On the flip side, I have seen a different person. One person, at his first auction, told the owner that the lot he won was missing a part ..... someone had walked off with it. He paid $2.00 for the lot. The owner actually told the young man, "What do you expect for $2.00". That was the end of that. The owner was feeding this man's education of the real world.... Fresno is still a small town. Word gets around. We know. Just sayin".
