They were late on many things and very disorganized. Mid way through they decided to switch from Google classroom to their own portal which was hard to navigate and without warning. And just recently I asked to move my cpt1 (phlebotomy course) to Saturday. However, unfortunately I was having car troubles and live in beaumount and asked to move to another month and they counted the day change as a schedule change and said it was my second time. I'm sorry... I'm just paying 5k out my minimum wage pocket and asked for them to rearrange the class I paid for. Also, they only have one classroom and if there are two courses taking place expect to be pushed to another room with no desk and at one point a whole bunch of phlebotomy tubes all over the floor. On the phone to change the class schedule (for phlebotomy) she said I could only do it if I pay the rest of the course off before moving it. I agreed However, she said she would let me know in October when the class would take place (or when she changed it) and she let me know the day before I have to go in and said that was normal for her to do that because she always messags before the day the class takes place (1 day notice is not enough time). She made it sound like it was my fault because she said she stated this on the phone almost two months ago. Now I have to pause work to go to a class or be completely dropped from it. The only thing this place got going for it is the teachers otherwise I would not even think of going here. Also, there is a way to take these courses for free basically but they will not let you know before you sign up. Just a heads up.

He made no promises and delivered on all the things he said promised. The School is very professional and clean. We're both very impressed with the operational and would highly recommend! The professors were excellent and always pushed us to become the best versions of ourselves. The front desk staff worked tirelessly to keep everything in order, and they always made an effort to decorate for holidays like Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They did a beautiful graduation for us as well. I was fortunate to have a small class, and over time, we became like a second family. The friendships I made here will last a lifetime. As for the Director of Nursing (DON), Ms. Assima, I know some reviews describe her as strict, but I see it differently. She has a strong and passionate teaching style, always pushing students not to give up and never to be lazy. Her focus is on education and success, and she truly wants every student to pass. The fact that she never dropped a single student speaks volumes she's not just about the money, as some people in reviews suggest. She genuinely cares about her students and has a big heart for helping people. Now, about the program itself wow! It was intense, with five days of classes per week for nearly a year. You have to be mentally prepared for that level of commitment and willing to put in the work. Studying hard is a must, and the ATI... oh boy, that's a beast! But like anything else, if you put in the effort, you can master it. I'm currently working on my ATI Green Light so I can take the NCLEX-PN, and I will truly miss this school. I have no doubt that Lotus Medical Career College will continue to be a great school for decades to come. It would be amazing if Ms. Assima expanded the school to offer an LVN-to-RN bridge program. I was actually penalized for that. It was so funny because when I started my program, there was another young lady that had some kind of family issue that was able to start the next cohort but yet I'm still out here. I have my money out of my time with no resolution that's not right. Don't be fooled. It's obviously the AI that they're using because it's the same message that I keep getting. It's AI.

I recently contracted with them again to train my childrens' childcare staff (nanny and babysitter). The company had training at a location and times convenient to me. The trainer, Leo Chan, was extremely professional and after voicing my concerns that I wanted to ensure my children were in good hands, he took the extra time to allow my staff to confidently practice hands on first aid and CPR training using the equipment. He was very knowledgable and took the time to answer all questions and concerns. I've had been to BLS and CPR training with other companies in the past where you just watch. This definitely wasn't that. Leo helped my staff build the confidence that they would know how to handle emergency situations. Thank you guys, I will definitely hire this company again.

I heard about UCR MEEP during one of their tabling days, and I remembered they offered BLS recertification. I thought it would be the perfect way to renew my certification. In the past, the BLS classes I attended involved watching a boring video, and the instructors didn't engage much with the students beyond explaining what was required for the test. However, when I took a class with Emily Tran, I was impressed by her knowledge and the equipment she brought to the session. She was enthusiastic and highly engaging, making sure everyone participated and actually learned the material. And also to just step my excel game up in general so I could actually make excel do things for me as opposed to using it simply for data entry. I did the basic boot camp that spanned 3 consecutive Saturday sessions. Nice, clean and private learning facility in a cool location downtown upland. The instructor was Michael and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and good and explaining the information and fielding questions as we moved through the material. The classes were broken up into nice lesson segments and although each had a different main focus there were recurring things a lot too which helped seeing them integrated in different contexts. I feel confident that practicing the skills we learned in class will help me utilize excel much more efficiently and I feel that with this base I could also teach myself new things more effectively too using online aids.
