Welcome to Oregon where the staff and technicians are compassionate, happy, and efficient. Kali welcomed me warmly with sincere concern about my health. She spoke softly and warmly creating an environment of comfort and security. I was quickly whisked back for my x-ray with Kelly. Her main focus was my health and well-being. Wearing a neck brace because of a cervical fracture, I felt in control as she worked with me to procure accurate pictures of what my doctor ordered. I've always been enough supporter of CORA however, after yesterday, I'm gonna try to avoid having anything done by them. Despite having a lump in my breast, my primary care provider having me sent urgent given the members of my family having breast cancer. My mother, my sister, several of my aunts and some of their daughters having breast cancer. Having my own lump removed a couple of decades ago, but luckily it had not been cancer. Except for yesterday. The level of incompetence was astounding. Honestly, I'll do whatever I can to use a different facility than CORA. They're dangerous. read more

Their check in process is a little frustrating. Every time I come (even within a week apart) they want my insurance and ID card. I also have to fill out the same questionnaire each time. Getting an appointment is a challenge. My Specialist asked me to get some test done but the CORA scheduler could not find the orders. after a back and forth with DR. who assured me orders were in, I called CORA a third time. the orders were found but could only be scheduled through a different department. I was transferred to the new scheduling department but there was no answer. instead, the message asked me to leave info and they would call me back. it has been several days and I have yet to hear from them. So many phone calls and much on-hold time wasted with CORA I would not recommend. read more

I honestly can't believe what I'm going through with a professional medical services place and it is quite shocking that they can do this to anyone. After confirming my scans would be covered with both insurance and the office, I showed up after an emergency referal and was told they didn't have the correct authorization and that I had to in fact pay for my services. I then paid because I was in so much pain, had to arrange for a babysitter in order to go to the appointment and was not about to go home and be on the phone for more days with insurance while being afraid for my health. I paid in full. Over a year later I start getting bills. I paid at first thinking it was a mistake and trusted I possibly still owed something. Then I get a new bill ... the first was from "CMI Cascade" This is now from CORA. ( All the same place) All I did is sit in a machine I didn't even see a doctor or talk to anyone but am getting various bills. So I called to get to the bottom of it and they are telling me there is no record of me paying. Since I paid cash and it was so long ago I also don't have record of it. It is crazy to me that they told me that day I could not be scanned without paying, yet they have no record of me paying. It really is sad, and scary what this system can do to people. There is obviously a serious flaw in the payment system or worse and they aren't keeping documentation of cash. I do not recommend putting yourself at this risk going there. read more

One person says one thing and then I talk to a supervisor and she guarantees me that that's not possible and that I told her that one of your representatives already did it and she goes. Oh well. Maybe I didn't quite understand what you were talking about. Okay? Jamie do all the backpedaling you want, but you're a poor supervisor! Treat people poorly disrespectful. That's incredible to me! Why would I ever continue to go to a place that treats me like crap. I would rather pay twice as much to be treated with dignity then to get a discount and be treated like crap cuz they know that I'm low income. Get your morals and values right! read more

Incompetent billing department. That is the truth and as an RN in Oncology Clinical Research, I had an abnormal mammogram and went there for a breast ultrasound/biopsy. The female MD doing that missed the spot for the sample collections, so then I had to go through a breast biopsy via MRI on all three spots which turned out to be a colossal waste of time and was hugely stressful. Surely there was nothing wrong as I suspected but for billing purposes it was certainly profitable for this group. The kicker is that I had an outstanding bill uncovered by insurance because of unnecessary biopsies (but that's how they make $). I can afford out of pocket payments for treatment, but the principals were an issue for me. I paid these folks right as they sent me to collections AFTER I had a call with them saying I would pay $500 a month to close out. The woman in billing took $2500 on October 7th (conf # 46817) and I told her I would pay the rest over the next three months. Again, I paid $831.44 in November leaving a balance of $1000. Today, December 16th they sent me to collections without a discussion for the remaining $1000 (which I just paid), but what I want people to know is that these people charge for unnecessary biopsies and tests. All for "profit" and not in the interest of the patient. CORA-you should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of patients with unnecessary tests just to pad your pockets. Find some other place - any other place to go get seen. This place is out of control. Not one, but two appointments back to back canceled AFTER I had been sitting the waiting room. I've had nothing but good experiences at CORA. I haven't had the pleasure of receiving all of the services they provide, but I've had a decent sampling. Mamogram, X-ray, Ultrasound and MRI. Check-in both pre-COVID and COVID have been seamless. They have an online check-in process that is super simple and helps with a quick check in at the time of your appointment. They get a round of applause from me on their process with COVID. Staff comes our to greet you at a the kiosk in the area between the exterior entrance and interior entrance, touchless check in, everyone masked up, etc. Friendly, helpful, efficient. The technicians have all been great. Again, friendly and efficient. Thoughtful in their explanations on what all they were doing. Very accommodating with my various injuries. The facility is well lit and clean. AND, all appointments have been on time. read more

Unfortunately, many healthcare providers rely on CORA for radiograph interpretations by their radiologists. My wife and I received substandard care since the same radiologist, Dr. Schroeder, failed to report an abdominal mass seen on CT scan while she was being treated for cancer to which she sucumbed. He also called my foot x-ray with chronic pain "normal" and a follow-up review by a different radiologist properly diagnosed metatarsal joint erosion. You might want to ask your doctor if they actually saw the imaging themselves. read more

My minor daughter was scheduled for an MRI with contrast. The injection and and procedure are not comfortable and my daughter was scared. we were not informed ahead of time that no one would be allowed back for the procedure. It wasnt until we were already here that I was told i would have to wait in the lobby. It was not explained why and by the time someone came out to speak to me about this they already has my daughter in the MRI machine. I still had to question why, because I was simply being told l couldn't go back. I have been to CORA before for someone who had an MRI with contrast and was able to go back, and this person was an adult so it made little sense why I could not go back with my minor child. It was explained to me, after I provided this background, that the machine my daughter was in was outside in a trailer so there wasn't room. In the future, this medical provider should inform parents, at the time of scheduling, what to expect-- to include whether or not a parent will be allowed back with a minor for a procedure. Especially when the procedure is long and uncomfortable, and the patient is a minor. read more

I don't like waiting long & they always get me thru pretty quick no matter what services I'm seeking. They work well with my insurance company & I've had no headaches there. If I could give them zero stars I would. Incorrect reading of scans; stating that nothing is wrong when there is. Furthermore; shady billing that does not provide good faith estimates for nuclear procedures, doesn't show payments being made to accounts & therefore threatens with collections, ect. Requested updated statements and never received. Reported this to entities to hopefully stop this BS...& don't bother with a stupid threat of not being welcome at CORA, I'm already taking my business elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO TO CORA RADIOLOGY FOR AN ULTRASOUND I went in to get my first ultrasound appointment, the office staff was somewhat grumpy but otherwise we got through that ok. After getting to the radiology room and starting the ultrasound we were so excited to see my baby. We saw the baby move it's hand and foot and me and my husband were over joyed. The ultrasound tech had to push down really hard to get good pictures but I understood. I was told there was a faint heartbeat and that they would like to do a transvaginal ultrasound, because it wasn't necessary and I wasn't told that anything is out of the ordinary I declined unless it was absolutely needed they said they would like to do one but they understood. The ultrasound tech congratulated us handed us the photos of our baby and we left so excited. That was all. A week later I receive a message from my Midwife asking how the appointment was, I told her it was incredible that we saw the baby move but at the heartbeat was faint and that we would figure that out at my next appointment with a Doppler, she then explained that I must have been misinformed, that my baby was likely dead because the ultrasound tech had stated there was no heartbeat whatsoever and that the baby was measuring extremely small. We were a wreck, and Midwife suggested we go to the ER immediately, after seven hours and a looming possibility that our baby had passed away and that I would need a DNC operation that night we walked away with the news that our baby was completely healthy, measuring perfectly fine, and a very strong heartbeat. It took the ultrasound tech at the ER one minute to know this and confirm our baby was fine. We are overjoyed that everything is OK, but I still can't believe Cora radiology neglected to inform us that they thought our baby was dead, that no doctor came in to talk to us, that we weren't told our baby was too small. After speaking with my mom who is a nurse apparently this is a pretty common thing from Cora radiology, she had a friend be told that their baby didn't have any kidneys (to which he was born just fine with healthy kidneys) Now I have a huge ER bill and experienced such a traumatic night. I will be reaching out to them to figure this mess out soon. But until then, if your expecting a baby, DO NOT GO TO CORA RADIOLOGY FOR AN ULTRASOUND! read more

After a rare AVM post delivery, I had to get multiple ultrasounds done to see the progress of the operation. I was charged $454 for a PA to quickly call to say everything was resolved, when I myself could read the ultrasound notes in my, my chart, stating this. I think it's absolutely unnecessary to charge that much and very greedy. The medical system is about 15 minute appointments, where as much money can be collected. Expressing this to the billing associate, she hung up on me. This confirms exactly what I mean, it's not about solid care, it's about finances. read more

I went to CORA on a Thursday for a routine mammogram. I got a call from them on Monday that they wanted to further inspect my left breast. I was able to be seen the very next day in the morning, and that I would receive the results during the visit. It turned out to be a fibroid, not cancer. I was very grateful that they could see me so quickly and put all of my worries to rest. read more

I had a series of MRIs for an unrelated condition. A mass was found on my kidney and I was referred to CORA by my urologist. A date was set and I went to St. Charles for a radio frequency ablation by Dr. Curran at CORA. He is a very pleasant young doctor. He took time to explain the procedure to me and the expected outcome. The office staff was pleasant and efficient. The day of the procedure Dr. Curran was in to greet me and make sure that I was comfortable. The anesthesiologist came in to explain his part in the procedure. All went well. As I was recovering from the anesthetic I saw Dr. Curran at least twice. He also called me three days after the procedure to make sure I was doing well. I was/am quite pleased with the care I received from CORA and I would recommend them to anyone who needs their expertise. read more

As I read past reviews, I notice that this is a reoccurring issue with this company and maybe its time they look at themselves and their employees and make some changes! Extremely rude office staff, that have sent me a collection bill unlawfully and refuse to bill my secondary insurance. I agree with the previous posts. CROOKS. I work in the healthcare field and would never imagine treating patients this way. I am reporting them to better business bureau and I have spoken with my insurance company several times and they have said theres nothing they can do to have them file the claim but agree wholeheartedly that what they are doing is wrong. I have nothing to say but compliments for the staff at the newer south Bend clinic! The front office gal asked if I was okay with the new sign in process on the tablet before handing it to me. The tech taking images for my mammogram was very professional and friendly to boot! I wanted to get both my mammogram and bone density done on the same day as I only have one day off during the week. The scheduler was very accommodating and able to arrange this for me by scheduling me at the south clinic for one, and the main clinic for the other-consecutively! read more

I've had several scans here before, but the mammogram department What a terrible experience at CORA compared to the Portland Providence women's health clinic. The first tech for the mammogram was really rushed acting, and ROUGH. I've had several mammograms, and never experienced this pain & soreness afterwards. the ultrasound tech was really nice, and gentle thankfully. The radiologist didn't even bother talking to me, He Had the tech say everything was fine and give me a pamphlet on painful breast???? How insensitive!! The only reason I gave them a three-star was for my handful of previous good experiences there, but I will not go to their mammogram department again. I'm a cancer and cardiac patient. I've had a number of scans and such over the past year and a half and it was all good. Recently, the girls in scheduling screwed up. The one schduler in particular was very disrespectful, rude and nasty (Jordan). I wrote a letter to the CEO and complained, I was ignored for almost 2 months. So, I complained again. Next thing I know, I get a letter from their attorney saying their employees feared for their safety and that I'm no longer allowed to have my scans done here! Seriously? What a load of garbage! I NEVER raised my voice or acted badly towards the schedulers. I simply asked them to verify orders and authorizations that were already on file and verified in the system. The technicians are great. You just have to get past the rude schedulers and avoid the upper management. God Help you if you complain. As a result, I had to go to Portland for scans that delayed my medical treatment(s) that could have easily been done here. read more

A year ago when I had my annual mammygrammy all was well. Same this year with the procedure. HOWEVER!!!! Be forewarned. They have changed their check-in process and it is snotty and invasive as to privacy issues. The gatekeeper needs an attitude adjustment. Did not say that sign in had changed. Demanded my insurance card AND my photo ID to be placed in a folder and disappeared to a counter. NOT HAPPENING. I told her that my ID did not leave my hands to someone else. Then when I got to stage two of sign in the clerk asked a bunch of irrelevant questions, then handed me a tablet asking me to sign. I do not like signing things I can't read. The technician told me it was a new system, they don't like it, and encouraged me to fill out a complaint card. Believe me I did. IMHO, this is a potentially serious invasion of privacy. read more

I have used CORA for imaging several times this past year. The staff is great and the atmosphere is wonderful.

I have had hundreds of Cortizone shots in my joints all over my body for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I recently had been referred here for a cortizone shoulder injection with contrast and X-Ray so we all knew the needle was in the right spot. WORSE experience in my life. The guy fished, didn't numb enough and then just jabbed the needle in. The PA was friendly as well as his assistant but he couldn't hit my joint capsule with a sword. Bent my arm around so far trying to get the joint opened up enough, I am not going to have to have my elbow injected. 4 days later I am still icing and taking big doses of pain killers to be able to function. Horrible horrible experience, I will never go back there. read more

If I could give these crooks a lower rating I would! Shady, slimy and bullying practices here. They will lie to you, tell you that you're in network, they will be 3rd party contractors for other imaging centers and then tell you tough cookies, that's how the medical system works. They don't have to tell you ever step of the process. After a terrible experience 2 years ago, I went out of my way to go to another imaging center last month that was in network only to find out that CORA has people come man machines and write the reviews and then bill the patient, unbeknownst to them prior to services. Then when a surprise bill shows up they're unwilling and unsympathetic to the shock and anger. I wish another company would come to Central Oregon and eliminate this monopoly. I had the most wonderful experience at Central Oregon Radiology today. The receptionist saw me on crutches and instead of making me stand through the whole check-in process she took me around to the side so that I could sit down and be more comfortable. She was kind and very helpful. The technicians were so amazing from beginning to end. I had a few things done today such as a mammogram, ultrasound, xray and an MRI. They kindly helped me to get from one department to the next on time. Everyone explained what they were doing and were caring from the get go. They didn't act put out they actually cared. I'm clausterphobic so the MRI was a bit scary but they helped me and talked me through it. I am so grateful for this place. If I ever need another xray, mammorgram, or an MRI again I know where to go. I will refer all my friends and family members to them from here on out. Thanks again CORA!! read more

I don't write reviews but am compelled to because of the experience I had during my MRI. The hurried lab tech loaded me improperly when shooting images of my injured shoulder. I was surrounded by too much padding and was lifted to high on the bed. The result was that the padding had me so compressed that my arm, which was positioned above my head, caught on the wall of the chamber while I was being loaded. My arm had no where to go given that my shoulder was braced against the camera device. After yelling multiple expletives the tech put the machine in reverse taking my shoulder back through the point at which it had been caught. It nearly dislocated my already injured shoulder. Following this incident my shoulder froze up for the following 3 months. My Orthopedic Dr. and my PT will fully attest to the major setback that this event caused, but Central Oregon MRI will not reduce my bill claiming that a diagnosis was provided. Plain and simple go elsewhere. read more
