This review is for the Redmond site -- normally I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I want…read moreother women to have this information. I went in for my first mammogram, and it was not at all even just a pleasant experience. After changing into the short tiny, wide open "gown", with the opening in the front, I was led through a room where there was a random man talking with an employee about landscaping, I think. This felt like a huge violation of privacy and left me extremely uncomfortable. There was no consideration at all for the fact that I may have been anxious about this appointment, I was treated like cattle being led to through the slaughterhouse. But worse than that, just before the imaging was to start, the technician told me that they call back for additional diagnostic imaging 40% of those getting their first mammogram. Forty percent. I went to their website and looked through their long list of more than 20 doctors, and I can't help but wonder how much billing is needed to sustain the Bend-lifestyle for so many highly paid radiologists. So, women beware: if you're going in for your first mammogram, you have a 40% chance of being called back for additional MRI AND ultrasound. And based on my experience, you probably don't need to expect anyone to care.

I had been diagnosed with dermatitis on my right ankle back in February by a Dermatologist in…read moreArizona and was given an antibiotic cream and a steroid cream to combat the problem. After several months my deratiitis was spreading . Neither cream was working. Luckily I found Deschutes Dermatology and Dr. Baxter. She changed my medication and after 5 weeks my dermatitis was gone. The doctor said to continue to take the medication because dermatits can still come and go in the effective area. I have had toenail fungus for over 15 years. I discussed with the doctor the pros and cons of taking internal medication to aleaviate this pesky problem. Have to grow my nails out for 3 weeks. Then will send the toenail clippings to the lab to see what course of action to take. I have found a dermatologist I can trust. Will follow up with my story in the near future.

Not only were my doctor, the medical assistants, nurses and front desk ladies all extremely helpful, they had an attitude that made you feel like they actually cared. I do want to give two shout outs for Dr. Megan Smith and Nurse Lauren. I fully believe that Nurse Lauren saved my baby's life by sending me to the birthing center when my NST was coming out weird, and Dr. Smith had me prepped for a c section within an hour. I will always come back for any future needs.

Do not go here if you are seeking help for perimenopause…read more I have been going to ECWG for 9 years. They cared for me during both of my pregnancies and I didn't have any problems, it was fine care - not great but I never left there crying. Today I did. The steady decrease in quality of care from when I was pregnant to postpartum to perimenopausal was shocking. They failed to diagnose me with PPD after my first child was born. They did diagnose me with it and prescribed meds after my second child was born. My routine exams after pregnancy were fine until I turned 40. Then all of a sudden I want to talk about HRT and perimenopause because it's excrutiating to deal with and the first NP said I just needed to deal with my symptoms. Basically "suck it up". I asked for another provider who after some convincing, agreed to give me HRT. She was very rude and cold to me. The second time I saw her she literally barely looked at me, never smiled, gave me one word answers and seemed so disinterested. I asked her if there were any foods or exercises I could do to help alleviate my symptoms and she straight up said "No," I called and complained about her, receptionist was just as rude. Then finally I got a third NP she was the worst of them all. Barely greeted me, stone cold face and demeaner, one word answers and dirty looks!! IS THIS THE TWILIGHT ZONE?!!! I'm still a human being who deserves care even though I'm not making babies anymore. What ever happened to compassion and care? The disinterest all of these healthcare "professionals" show is quite alarming. I could and do get more helpful information from Google and Midi Health. After being a patient at ECWG for almost a decade, today was the last time I step foot in that office. Run as fast as you can away from this place. If you are not going to birth a child, you do not matter.
