He was on the roof, in the crawl space and everywhere in between. He even checked the wiring in the electrical panel. I really was impressed with how many items were checked. Our inspection was on a cold day. David had a meter that detected heat loss in the walls which I thought was interesting. He provided a thorough report a day or two later listing the status of every area checked. He found a couple of items that needed attention, and he had photos of those so I could see what he was referring to. Very happy with his work.

The escrow would only be ten days, so we had to move fast. Jack arranged to perform the inspection within two days of my contacting him. He emailed me the report the afternoon of the inspection and was immediately available to answer all my questions. His inspection was thorough and his report so beautifully formatted that I could easily separate the details from the big picture. I could see at a glance what needed immediate attention, what could wait, and what might be coming up in the future. This was enormously helpful to me in formulating a compromise with the buyer. I can give Jack Myrwang the highest recommendation.

His reports are very easy to read and do a great job summarizing all the issues that need to be addressed. Jack has done several inspections for me over the last year. Jack is prompt, courteous, and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Jack. He does a much better job than inspectors I have used in other cities.

I met the inspector at the property and offered to accompany him during his inspection. He declined my offer. Over the next half an hour or so, I saw him take a ladder to the roof and dress in protective gear to go under the house and into the attic. After he finished, he walked me through his findings making sure that I understood his discoveries. His written report was delivered a few days later. After the inspection, I discussed one of the findings with the seller. The seller agreed with the finding and resolved the issue. After reading the report, I am reasonably confident that the inspection was thorough and there will no, or very few, surprises with our new home.
