She communicated what she was doing throughout the process and the procedure was relatively painless. I'm writing this almost 24 hours later and I feel very little discomfort. This is the first morning I woken up to in a long time without throbbing from that tooth. My insurance company can be difficult to work with. Outside of the procedure I can say the office kept me informed of their efforts with the pre-authorization and even managed to get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and the treatment I received.

I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

One way this experience could have been improved would be to provide a cushion behind your neck during the procedure. I felt it would have been much easier to relax if my neck could have rested against something since it is a long procedure. This would have really changed my overall experience. I came to Kathy and Kevin (the Younkins) and from the first consultation, they put me at ease. They're soothing, gentle and really nice. I don't know what all their fancy equipment does but it seems super high tech. I don't know what other people go through, but the whole experience was a breeze. The only pain i felt was a little soreness for a couple days after which is no big deal if you take the ibuprofen they give you.

They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.

When I was finally out of the clutches of OSU student health, and looking for a dentist of my own I had a sneaking suspicion that I had approximately 75 cavities (at least). I went to the googles in search of someone able to handle my multiple dental issues. I saw that Dr. Baloy was the team dentist for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and looked no further. I figured if he could handle hockey mouths, I'd be no problem. From the very beginning, I felt welcome in the office. The staff is SO nice, and no one judged me for having at least one cavity in each quadrant of my mouth (sure they gently suggested perhaps I should learn to floss, but it's their job!). Dr. Baloy did a fantastic job tackling the cavities, and referring me to an endodontist AND a periodontist (I'm telling you, my oral hygiene is not that bad, it's genetics!) when needed. The office is set up to be very open and airy and there are lovely photographs to stare at while you're waiting for your gums to get numb. To summarize - Very nice, professional staff; great service; bright and clean office. It makes going to the dentist not that bad after all.

She was working in the Worthington/Westerville area at the time and after a quick search on Yelp, I found this place. She called them right away, was able to see them right away, and was blown away by the experience. Flash forward to about a month ago when I ended up having to find a new dentist. My sister reminded me of Westerville Dental so I gave them a ring and had a very similar experience. I was able to get scheduled that same week and the staff was incredibly friendly. Along with my bi-annual cleaning, I opted for the Zoom whitening. I can definitely say that it was worth the money. If you need a new dentist, look no further.

Elite called the morning after I had a really bad night with pain and they could see me in three days instead of the originally scheduled day. I would rarely describe getting a root canal as 'wonderful,' but the staff was as kind in person as they were on the phone. Dr. Lisa explained what she thought was going on with the tooth and the conservative approach she'd recommend. She completed the procedure right away. I hope to not need another root canal, but if I do, this practice would be my first choice. Affordability is important, but for me, professionalism and kindness are of utmost importance. Their practice hits the mark on all three counts.
