First time going there place is small but clean, I did have to wait a few minutes but that was fine since I went as a walk in Annie was able to do my nails while I was getting my pedicure so it went by fast. I absolutely love their service super fast. I would recommend for everyone to come here! read more

Warning: SOME overlap from prior review of Ritz nails, for effect. The situation: 2 hours before class, I think I'll get me a mani/pedi to kill time. I yelp a random place and head on over to Central Nails on Harbor Boulevard, I text Danielle "Hey, come to Central Nails on Harbor and get a mani/pedi w/me before class" Danielle replies, "I just got mine done yesterday at Ritz!" 2 hours and ten bloody cuticles later, I sit down in my psychophysiology class with thick, dull, miss-shaped blobs atop my fingertips that Central Nails mistook for a gel nail manicure. Guess who I sit down next to? DANIELLE. Guess what HER nails done at Ritz Nails looked like? Heaven. Like she received a manicure from Sally F***ing Hansen herself. I was overcome with Jealously and wished that someone had told ME about Ritz nails. Well, my friends, patience is a virtue. After a few weeks passed I chewed off the catastrophe that Central Nails inflicted upon me and took my happy *** to Ritz Nails. Seriously though, no bueno. My nails turned out very misshapen and unnatural looking and I didn't get at all what I wanted. It's still unclear at this point if it was a language barrier thing or if they were just trying to rip me off (or both?) Either way, I would steer clear from this place. read more

I have been going here for well over two years. Connie always takes care of me. Just as with any salon if you don't want to wait call ahead or make an appointment in advance. I have acrylics and get a pedicure every two weeks here. I have never experienced anyone forcing me to pick a color or design. In fact it's quite the opposite they will show me the color first on their own nails, if I'm on the fence about it. If I want to try something new on my hands Connie takes the time to show me the look on one nail before I decide. The other added bonus here is no pushy up sells. This place is a gem. read more

The last few times, I started noticing that they were becoming more and more busy. I had to wait such long periods of times in order to receive a crappy pedicure completed in less 10 minutes. They probably shouldn't receive Walk-Ins because they ignore you for hours since they focus solely on appointments. The last 2 times I had to wait 1.5-2 hours to get a pedicure. The last time I walked in, I walked out and went elsewhere. Sorry Central Nails, I won't be coming back. read more

First time trying this place and will never go back. I asked her to keep the square shape and to not file them too short. Almost every nail has a different shape but most of them ended up looking like trapezoids. Check out my photos if you want a good laugh. She said that was her intention because one of my nails had a chip on the side and she was trying to make them all look like the bad nail. I have a wedding tomorrow and thanks to Central Nails my nails are ruined. read more

This is the longest over due post ever lol! I have been seeing Connie for almost 7 years on and off! I have followed her from her old shop to this one, and I have never found another person like her who takes care of me the way she does! I have been to shops from Long Beach, Anaheim, Monterey Park, Alhambra, Rosemead and even in other states. She is truly amazing at what she does, I have never once been cut or hurt by her and my nails always come out the best. Her quality is top notch and truly amazing that I drive an hour just to see her. I cannot imagine another woman doing my nails, she is a true artist and is truly patient with me since I always come asking for complicated designs lol. I have gotten my nails done a countless amount of times and I have never experienced so much damage on my nails. The lady who attended me over drilled my nails which made them weak and thin. The thinnest nail is the the middle finger in my right hand which is also the one with the green coloring. It honestly makes me wonder if this place is even completely sanitary or if they just put their tools under a UV light which doesn't remove 100% of germs. I'm honestly so disgusted by this place and I will not be returning. read more

I went to get a pedicure a day before my uncles wedding. I left with my feet looking exactly how they were when I got here. She took over an hour absolutely just stabbing my nails with her tool make both of my toes bleed. Charged me for calus removal so she would literally not remove anything! I complained to the supervisor in charge and she laughed as if I was telling her a joke. Literally did absolutely nothing when she clearly saw I had a point with her technician doing a shitty job. Worst service ever. Don't recommend it to anyone. Save your money. Go to Walmart buy nail polish do it your self and I GUARANTEE it will come out 20000x better. read more

I'm surprised this place hasn't been reviewed! It's a small narrow salon however even after being to many pricey salons (40+ for a pedicure) this is the cleanest one I've seen! After every customer they completely scrub and sanitize the spa chairs and utensils. You can even see the chart next to the chairs which is noted after every cleaning. They are very thorough..pedicures take normally about 45 min to an hour. Decent selection of polishes..they use good polish but I wish they had a larger selection of nude/neutral shades. Very good price as well.. 12 for spa pedicure 15 for french tip pedicure. Manicures are really good as well and they'll do the polish change alone for just 5 bucks. The ladies are very friendly and this is now my go to place to a pedi/mani. read more

I'm really disappointed because I got my nails done there on Monday and it's the worst place to go because the lady that did my nails I'm not sure what was her name because she didn't even tell me her nail, which was not greeting like but she has rushed to polish my nails and she did the horrible. I dislike my nails and toe nails I'm really disappointed I wasted 60 buck on getting my full set and pedicure. I looked at my toes right now and the paint is already coming off and when she put on the acrylic nails they are not even a good shape, the only one I like from my fingers are my pinky and the others a horrible. read more

I decided to try this nail salon place out because of it's first review. It was right next to my friend's house, so we decided to try a new place today. It was way below my expectations. My friend and I came in for a pedicure, and there was a wait, even though there was a free manicurist. They turned on the water for us but it was only one quarter filled, and the water turned cold. The service was mediocre, but they didn't have hot towels. Spa pedicures are actually 15, so I'm assuming french tip pedicures are about 18. Maybe this place is better for acrylics, facials, manicures, etc. I'm just very very picky about my pedicures, gotta love your toes! read more

They could have gotten more stars if they weren't so bad at giving waxes. I sat next to a lady who had never gotten her legs waxed before and they were doing it all wrong. I am no waxer myself but I know when something is wrong. The girl was nearly in tears and I felt so bad for her. I had them wax my eyebrows beforehand and they did a good thorough job but the technique was all wrong and I was in more pain than I should have been. read more

Walked in and they were able to take me right away. Noticed there was some tension in the air amongst a few of the ladies working there. One of them being the gal who did my toes. As soon as she was done, which was maybe 20 minutes she walked out of the salon. And then my gel manicure only lasted less than a week. S I will not be going back. read more
