She understood exactly what I wanted in my hair cut and actually cut it the way requested, not like so many that cut it the way they want to. I was doing everything I could to still make it to my appointment and expected to be only about five minutes past the grace period. I was even willing to shorten my service to just the Brazilian wax, without the mask, so I could still be seen, and I was willing to pay the full service price with no discount. Unfortunately, the receptionist was not willing to accommodate this. I also asked if I could speak with a manager and was told to email, but that management would not be reaching out to me. I was charged a $40 missed appointment fee, so I emailed management to explain the situation and request that the fee be refunded as a one-time courtesy. Berlyn Ramirez, the founder, responded that she would look into the matter and get back to me. I provided the requested screenshots of my calls. Since then, I have followed up twice requesting a status update and have still received no response. I completely understand having appointment policies and late fees, but I'm disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-through after I made several attempts to resolve the issue directly. I'm normally very punctual and was genuinely trying to make it to my appointment despite an unexpected situation. I would have preferred to resolve this privately, but after multiple attempts to follow up without receiving a response, I feel it's important to share my experience.
