My $40,000 Jayco Jayfeather was stolen right from under his nose. They took it while they were cleaning out a high value storage unit using a U-Haul truck. How come he didn't notice my travel trailer missing until I came in 3 weeks later? Was it an inside deal? The manager knew me and knew my trailer. My advice is to NOT use this facility. There are break ins weekly. Save yourself the heart ache of loosing your valuables and store your things elsewhere.

Becky, the Manager is efficient and pleasant to deal with!…read moreThe place is clean and I was so happy to get such a great space. What a great experience, too. How considerate it was of her to choose a unit in close proximity to a clean, handicapped restroom. I had been unusually forgetful lately and entered the wrong code recently. Becky, The Manager was unbelievably gracious yet informative, in getting me straightened out. And it is how things are handled when they have the potential of going wrong that really counts, isn't it? I am looking forward to a lifelong relationship!!

The manager was very nice at first until the day we had to evacuate our home due to the fires. We had no where to go, so we hung out at our storage unit. She showed up the next morning and started yelling and accusing us of LIVING in the unit, not even asking about our situation. Other people that had to evacuate also had stayed at the facility. Another time she would not let me out the gate until we did exactly what she wanted. I think that's called kidnapping, holding me against my will! Now we are trying to clean out our unit, my boyfriend worked all night loading our things. This morning I get a text from her accusing the boyfriend of living in the unit and shaving in HER bathroom. You can look at him and know that's not true! And telling me he needs to get off the property and not come back, remember he's on the contract and we have access 24/7. I called her to discuss the issue with her and she hung up on me. How professional! It's a very nice clean facility but the owner needs to put their manager in check. Get the facts before accusing someone. We have taken pictures of the unit before returning our keys, there was a $50 deposit and rent is prorated for the last few days of the month that we had paid. 8 days to be exact. I'll tell the rest of the story after she inspects the unit.

Stephanie was not there, the office was locked up for the entire day, and I was screwed. We sat there for a hours trying to fix this mess and I finally found another place to go. She has always been very helpful and understanding. The place is always kept clean and secure. I live in Roseburg and when i needed a unit there wasn't one to be had in town. I put myself on waiting lists for quite a few as it seemed silly to keep stuff long term in Sutherlin. By the time I started getting calls from closer units I decided to just stay at American. Yes it's a drive when I need to put something in or take something out, but Lisa has been amazing. And great customer service like that in any industry in this day and age is hard to come by.

I mother rented a storage unit for over a year. The fee was taken off her credit card every month…read more I was impressed with the cleanliness and security of the business We never had cause to deal with the management except for a missing key. That was resolved to the tune of $190. Our mother unexpectedly passed away in May. We would have to supply endless documentation proving her death. I was given until the 31st to find anew unit, rent a truck, and move by May 31st. Twenty days to do this. I was able to accomplish this with a week to spare. Now we are being charged an extra month because we did not give 30 days notice of her death. We now have to wait until July to get the deposit back. Would have been such simpler if we could have just assed her agreement
