I am incredibly disappointed in the customer service I received yesterday by the owner, Mark…read more After leaving in tears due to the way he spoke to me, I returned 10 minutes later to explain to Mark the impact his words had on me and to suggest that he treats future clients with more care. He stared at me while I spoke and when I was finished, he said without any emotion, "thank you for your feedback." I did not receive any acknowledgement that he had actually heard what I was saying, and I certainly did not receive an apology. The lack of empathy that I experienced from someone whose career is rooted in serving people that are grieving is astounding. To echo my sentiments from yesterday, Mark, I suggest that you examine how you treat the people that are coming to you in one of the most difficult times in their lives. The way you treated me yesterday was at best, poor customer service, and at worst, cruel. I hope that you embrace this as an opportunity for you to learn so others won't have to experience the same treatment that I did.

Johnna and the team in Grand Rapids quickly and professionally provided the electronic forms needed to go forward with cremation and to complete the death certificate -- very important when closing an estate -- and gave us my mother's remains when all was done. To me this was a much better and less stressful process than finding and paying a traditional funeral home. I highly recommend the Neptune Society to all who choose cremation.
