I…read morecalled Millers to come out to give me a quote on replacing the AC unit as Eagle Air had quoted us at 30k to replace and install a new AC unit. Alan a manager came out to inspect and give us options on how we can proceed in replacing our current AC. He was incredibly well informed and very knowledgable in explaining what our best options were. He called the office on the spot to set up an appointment for a service tech to come out and see if we could first fix the AC before doing a total replacement. Alan offered to bring us a window AC unit due to me being in my late 3rd trimester to make sure I am comfortable in the mean time. Sonny the service tech came out and found the problem with the AC unit in record time! We had a previous company come out and told us it was the compressor and quoted us at 7k to replace. It was in fact the capacitor that was not working. Sonny fixed the issue incredibly fast and now we have perfect working AC just in time for the heatwave. He was extremely professional and helpful in answering all of our questions. 10/10 I could rave all day about how wonderful Alan and Sonny were in helping fix our AC issue in a timely manner with out breaking our wallets with a baby on the way. I will be only using Millers Air for life and will let all my family and friends know this is the only option for AC services they'll ever need. I saw the great reviews for AIS and noticed a $58 service call special advertised on Yelp, so I reached out. Making an appointment was incredibly easy. Brenham arrived in just a few hours. He was pleasant to work with and clearly knew his stuff. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it; it turned out to be a disconnected wire, so it was a pretty simple fix. While he was there, he also looked at another issue I was having with my heater short-cycling. It turned out the motherboard needed to be replaced, and he luckily had one with him. The price was on the higher side for a relatively simple swap, but I understand I am paying for his expertise, and since he fixed my AC on the spot, it seemed fair. He offered various other upgrades and maintenance plans, but all of that felt unnecessary for a 34-year-old system that is on borrowed time, so I declined. I would definitely use this company again and was very satisfied with the service.

I called around and AIS came to the rescue. They were able to send a technician, Brenham, out the same day! My window was between noon and 3pm. I got a text from the office at 12:30 that the technician would arrive close to 2:30. Even though that arrival was within the window they had already communicated, they still thoughtfully reached out to give me a more precise time. This was much appreciated as it allowed me to run out and do a couple of errands before the technician arrived. Brenham texted me about 20 min before his arrival saying he was on the way. He arrived right on time and was very respectful and had a nice, easy going demeanor. He got right to work troubleshooting the furnace, explaining to me how he was approaching the task, which I appreciated. I even learned a couple of things about furnaces! The issue ended up being the furnace's mother board and the "universal" board he had was not compatible. I feared this meant he would have to order one and it would be more days without AC. Brenham said he would check his van to see what he had and thankfully had the exact board for my furnace. He replaced the board and the furnace blower turned on! Even though my issues was resolved, he took the extra time to check on my outdoor AC unit and did some diagnostics including checking the refrigerant levels. It was a nice "extra comfort" to know the AC unit checked out fine. I was in a jam and AIS came through for me. Brenham was extremely knowledgeable and did great work. HIGHLY recommend AIS for all your HVAC needs.

Scheduling was smooth, communication was clear, and the technician showed up on time, was professional, and did thorough, quality work. The system was checked carefully and everything was explained in a way that made sense. I really respect a business that listens to feedback and improves. While the initial install had its challenges, the follow-up service showed real accountability and commitment to customers. We had a great experience with Chill Heating and Cooling. First off, I had a total of four…read moredifferent companies give me a quote to replace our existing Furnace & A/C units. Chill was the second to arrive and give us an estimate. At first glance when comparing the numbers they gave me to that of the first company, they seemed way off and too cheap to be real. After getting more quotes, Chill remained the lowest price; however, the cost for some of the other companies came in somewhat close. Upon closer review of the contracts, the type of units offered by Chill were much better. A clear difference and made the price look even better! So we signed up and set our appointment up for the next week. We had to move the date since we felt the timing was terrible (expecting 90° weather when the following week was going to be 60°). They moved the appt with ease, even setting it for the following Monday -- on Memorial Day! This was something they offered and I jumped on it, since I was planning to work from home anyway that day. The day of the install went as expected. No issues arose; although, for the guys in the attic I think they would say they had to make some unplanned adjustments -- no complaints to myself or family. All three workers were extremely kind and respectful. They arrived at 9:20 AM and were out before 6:30 PM. Before starting work, they laid down tarps along the hallway (where the entrance to the attic is). They placed all of the old furnace/AC equipment out in front of the house, but cleaned it all up and packed it into their vehicles. They swept up most all of the leftover debris that fell from the attic space and gathered all of their tools. Upon exiting, one of the installers walked me through how to setup the Google Nest Thermostat. He was very patient and waited to ensure the system was fully functional before leaving (used a thermostat gun to read the temperature on one of the vents).

He came prepared with his service and explained in detail which problems he found and how to prevent them from happening again. He will also give you suggestions on what is best to purchase to take care of our system, such as our air filters. No scam, very straightforward. He was extremely patient in answering any questions we had and also helped me with some household tasks like screwing in a smoke detector on a high ceiling. In anything that he helped me with, whether it was the general service or some household tasks, he achieved it in a very thorough and clean manner, which I wholeheartedly appreciate. If you have a service with them, ask for him; I am sure you will not regret it. If you get Ricky as your technician, I'm confident that you'll be in great hands. We were originally sold on the idea of a zoned system with separate thermostats and motorized dampers for different areas of the house. It sounded like a great solution. After repeatedly bringing up the issues, we were eventually told by a salesperson that it would cost an additional $16,000 to make the system work the way it should have from the beginning. That was incredibly frustrating after already investing so much into the original installation. At this point, the promises to "make it right" never materialized, and we're still dealing with uneven temperatures throughout the house every summer. It is funny on the reviews they ask you to call so they can better understand the issue. I laid it out in my review, their salesman told us the fix and yet they have done nothing. If you want to better understand my issue pull up my file bring up your salesman's suggestion on how to fix it and take care of the promise you made to me and everyone of your customers " We will make it right to your satisfaction".
