Robert Beaumont recently visited our office location in the woods and gave a reasonable quote to raise our shed which had critters living under it and adjust a few supports under our mobile office. This morning Christian and Angel were here early and did a great job on both buildings. The shed required all new supports and anchoring as well as being raised high enough to see under....no more critters! They are friendly, polite and cleaned up the job site better than they found it. They were also careful to not drive over endangered plants or gopher tortoise burrows. These people ruined my subfloors, and are just flat out not fixing the problem. My main complaint was vibration and now I have more vibration and my floors squeak throughout the area that they lifted. They came late today, finally showed up, looked under the house and left. Paid $6425 in Nov2024 as a 50% deposit for work to be done at our home. Install date was Dec 2024. Never showed up. Called Jan 2025 was told someone left and stole all the business, but the company still wanted to do the work. Waited for the next install date. No one showed up.. Called again asking for a refund. Will said he will now be doing the job and the items were already there. Gave another install date of Feb10 2025. That date came and went.. Called and again requested a refund. Was told they don't handle finances and I will get a call back. Now it's March Called again for refund. Was again told that they don't handle finances and I need to talk to the owner Will.. Called Will directly.. he told me that he does not have the money and if he writes a check it will just bounce.. he then told me he used my materials (That I paid for!!) to do another customers house. So he took $6425.. absolutely NO intention of doing the work or refunding the money.. I contracted with this company on 11/12/24 to raise my mobile home 4 feet, re-level & anchor. Here's the short story: They arrived on 12/10/24 and dropped my home off the jacks from a height of 2 feet. It moved 22" from the original footprint, the attached sunroom completely detached from the main portion of the home, walls buckled, drywall cracked, the roof and porch were damaged...and Central Florida Mobile Home Leveling and Anchoring abandoned the job after 6 1/2 WEEKS of showing up once in a while. Same nightmare of the other reviewer (not having the right tools, not showing up until after 2:00, arriving reeking of marijuana, etc). I have a recorded conversation (**recorded in PUBLIC, not inside the home, therefore "no expectation of privacy") with their company manager acknowledging negligence and ownership of all the damage. The supposed co-owner, Rod, stopped communicating with me stating by text that "the other owner (William Robinson) was facing legal troubles that will leave a lot of people hanging, and until the legal issues were resolved, he (Rod) could no longer communicate with any customers." I can only assume this may mean impending bankruptcy? I have filed a claim with their insurance company as well as with the company that issued their contractor bond. I am in process of filing a criminal complaint with the State Attorney General for multi-jurisdictional (multiple counties) negligence/misconduct, which is a felony. I have also filed a complaint with the FL Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) to take action against William Robinson's contractor's license.
