The doctor is very kind and patient, working with a three year old isn't necessarily easy! He took his time, he was genuine and sincere, and was not inconvenienced at all by my questions. He talked to us and answered all of our questions, making sure we understood everything 100%. They have an adorable little room designated just for kids to make sure they never see it as a negative experience which is something I truly appreciated about this doctor. He was unable to do the particular procedure for my daughter so he referred us to a specialist he highly trusted and scheduled our appointment there for the very next day. I highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you have small children scared of visiting the doctor. He will help them overcome it and create a positive experience for them.

The type of care I get is surgical outpatient, and I am done in less than 30 minutes every time. Dr Ross and his assistants are very comforting and reassuring, which does wonders for a wimp like me lol. I can rely on him to be patient with me every time. The billing department over the phone is cool too. It is sometimes hard to get ahold of someone, but they are nice when we finally talk. I've had no billing issues whatsoever. Overall, I am happy I found this place to take care of my needs.

I think that Dr. LaFleur was the nicest person I've ever met. Honestly. She put me at ease right away and was so kind and understanding, particularly given that I was a bit nervous. She answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. The surgery went extraordinarily well and it is as though the condition was never there to begin with. I was also concerned about the possibility of scarring at the incision site but I am so pleased to say that there's no evidence of scarring whatsoever. On another note, her assistants in the Office were also nice, friendly and polite. They were very professional and obviously everyone had a great deal of experience. The whole situation was as excellent as it possibly could be. If somebody else needs this kind of medical service and they live anywhere in the Melbourne, Suntree, or Rockledge area, take it from me, there's no need to travel all the way to Bascom Palmer or to mayo clinic. The surgeries were done two weeks apart at the Orlando Ophthalmology Surgery Center. The procedures included the removal of cataracts and inserting the appropriate lens implants. Both eye surgeries were completed flawlessly, with great precision and care. There were no complications during, or after the surgeries. My eye sight is near perfect, as of about four months past the surgeries. I still need reading glasses for small print, which is normal, and was the expected outcome. Surgery was performed at their surgical center which IS COVERED by some Medicare plans (like mine, which I pay dearly for!) but the billing department refuses to send Medicare the information so you can recoup the payment for the surgical center they make you pay before the surgery upfront! I have called Medicare... I have written to Medicare... they have clearly told me that YES it is covered under my plans BUT the drs office needs to send them the BILL!!!! Or I need to jump through hoops (wasting my time since January to get my money back), I should say MORE HOOPS!!! I am clearly never doing this again! Sorry Dr. Nick but this reflects on you since I can not positively recommend you without explaining the lack of Medicare billing knowledge....
