The bus runs from TAPO in Mexico City to CAPU in Puebla, the bus station which is about a twenty minute drive from the Zocalo area.
My gripe is that when I was in Mexico City, I purchased return tickets from Puebla to Mexico City. The tickets were printed on flimsy receipt paper, and when it came time to use the tickets a few days later, they were faded and the clerk couldn't quite make out the number to verify that I hadn't forged the tickets, or wasn't pulling some scheme. So they made me purchase new tickets, at the rate of about $8USD each. I wasn't happy.
There are two classes of buses, as far as I could tell. One is first class- with a bathroom, and non-stop service. They even showed a movie.
The economy class didn't show a movie, had no restroom, and made several stops along the way.
