A beaten up, worn down bus station on the edge of town.
I…read morehad to come through here thanks to Estrella Roja, the local bus company that runs from Mexico City to Puebla. For some reason, they won't take you to 4 Points Bus Station, they take you to this place that's about a twenty minute cab ride to the center of town.
This place has seen better days. It's a big bus station, but the floors are cracked and dirty. There's plenty of space, but little places to sit if you're waiting for someone to come in. The exits are not marked clearly, and in order to get to the street, you have to find your way through the streets packed with aggressive cab drivers and past a fence that keeps the riff-raff out.
The waiting areas are nice enough, and there are places to get some grub, like Subway. Why someone would eat Subway in Puebla, Mexico, I'll never know, but it's there if you're tired of the gastronomic capital of Central America.
I was terribly frustrated with Estrella Roja, but that's not really CAPU's fault, I suppose.
They did manage to get us in and out of there with relative ease.
