I called and asked if Spindrift would stay open for another 10 minutes and take a look at my rear hub so I could ride the next 2 days ( Which I worked hard to raise $$$ for). The person on the phone checked with the two mechanics /owners or whomever and both said "NO". so much for customer service-- on a TUESDAY Evening!! So I called Trailhead Bike Shop--- and they waited around for me and fixed my bike so I could continue to ride for those that have died protecting us. Shame on you Spindrift.....

After calling another location (no help whatsoever), Todd not only tried to assist via the phone, with my bike, but called later to follow up. Additionally, he fixed my bike (in person) issue after hours (with phones ringing the background, and lots of customers, from what I could hear), and gave me great advice on maintaining, moving forward, troubleshooting various scenarios. The Grand Haven location has my business moving forward, and FIVE STAR rating - OUTSTANDING assistance, customer service, dedication TO CUSTOMERS. It was Memorial Day and we had driven from Ada to Spring Lake to ride one of our favorite bike…read moretrails. We unloaded my husband's bike and the tire had gone flat in the time it took to drive to the trail. We saw that Breakaway Bicycles was open (on the holiday!) so we called and talked to a Todd. He said to bring it in and we made the short drive to the shop. The store was fairly busy and I don't think we were there more than 20 minutes and the bike was fixed. This amazing service was so appreciated and literally saved our day. The shop has a great selection of bikes and accessories. Clearly their service is outstanding. I highly recommend this business.
