However, I'm writing to express my disappointment with the receptionist, Jessica, who was extremely rude when I called to schedule an appointment today. When I inquired about my primary doctor's availability, she informed me that he had left the practice. Instead of offering a solution or providing guidance on how to proceed, she simply reiterated that he was no longer employed there. When I requested a solution and sought her advice on resolving the issue, she abruptly interrupted my conversation and assigned me a new provider without prior communication. She then abruptly ended the call, leaving me without the necessary information to schedule an appointment. Other than the doctor she assigned will contact me if there's earlier availability. While I've never had any issues with the receptionists in the past, this experience was particularly disappointing because I was unable to receive clear guidance and was subjected to rude behavior.

(All Locations) Appointments are difficult to get, Doctors spend very little time with the patient leaving most of the work to their assistants. Getting a prescription refilled or transferred is a major task as half the doctors do not even respond to these requests and a quarter of them don't get it right when they do respond. Trying to reach someone on the phone normally requires several messages and hoping for a call back. The doctors have no clue as to how backed up other services are and write an order for an ultrasound or CT scan for a specific time frame only to have the patient discover the earliest appointment is a month after the doctor wanted the service.

Soon after our arrival in town my boyfriend was having excruciating jaw pain. It must've been bad for him to want to see a doctor so I Yelped an urgent care. This place was open, close by and most important had good reviews. It was closing in 30 minutes tho, but if we didn't go, bf would be miserable all weekend to see these races. We walked in, place was empty lucky for us, no appointment. Couple of waivers filled out, insurance given and Doctor took us in. Dr. Gilliam is by far the kind of doctor I wish I had as my PCP. He's funny, caring, gentle and educational. After asking my bf some questions and a little exam, it was concluded he had a little infection that needed antibiotics. Dr. Gilliam took care of ALL of it, sent the scripts to Safeway right next door (we needed to get snacks anyway) filled out the claim and sent it to insurance. I mentioned I was a medical coder. He does all of his own coding using software. But if Dr. Gilliam ever wants to hire a certified outpatient coder/biller with Urgent Care experience, we could always use an excuse to relocate to Monterey (hint hint) We were treated like humans, even laughed a little bit at some funny stories. Warm, kind Doctor. I hope we'd never have to be patients again but if we're in Monterey and need an Urgent Care, we're going here. He's the way all Doctors should be.

Both she and Dr. Straface are fabulous, caring, and brilliant! The staff is wonderful, too. We are always greeted by the same familiar smiling faces each time we visit, which is great, especially when they're part of a big hospital system like Montage. What prompted my review today is an incident where my mother received a bill for a visit she had at Montage, which has never happened. Her Medicare and blue cross have always paid for her visits. My mother was upset and didn't understand. She called the office and was transferred to the office manager who explained why mom was getting a bill. She did a wonderful job explaining but mom wasn't convinced. Marie, the manager, called mom's insurance company on a three way call so they could also explain. At this point, mom handed the phone to me since she was getting a little frustrated. When the insurance representative got on the phone, Marie very clearly explained the situation and the insurance representative was able to explain and confirm everything Maria had told us. I was just so impressed and grateful for Marie's kindness and patience with my mother. Explaining these complicated insurance matters to elderly people cannot be an easy job but she was so sweet and genuinely wanted to help mom. It's obvious why this office is so well run and has such a lovely staff!

Excellent physician! Dr. Michele Horne is passionate about her work and the health of her patients…read more A family member asked me to come with him to his new doctor's appointment. He was nervous about his new health challenges, and Dr. Horne came highly recommended. He was told she was an excellent physician. I have years of professional and personal experience with physicians. I can recognize a doctor who is in their field for the love of money and/or prestige, and those who are passionate about helping others to stay well. Dr. Horne is definitely passionate about helping her patients live healthy lives in every area of their lives. She listened carefully to his concerns and pulled together a powerful team to help him. She said she can see him healthy again and participating once again in the activities he once enjoyed. It is very important that your doctor "sees" you healthy again- and not as a "sick" person. I have had the honor of witnessing two incredible doctors in my life, one who rose to the top of his field due to his love and passion for his profession and for his patients. I feel that Dr. Horne has the same quality as these two individuals. In fact, I am so impressed with her, that I will make her my physician. For people like me, who are into organic foods and healthy living, Dr. Michele Horne understands the importance of the quality of our food and nutrients as being the foundation to feeling good (and thinking efficiently). It is my understanding that she will prescribe medications for crisis situations - and once stable, will promote a healthy lifestyle of quality food, nutrients, and exercise. The two ladies named Nicole and Escarlet were so friendly and welcoming. Great experience!

I learned that large shadows on their Echocardiogram were misinterpreted as massive heart damage. The second look by another cardiologist was what enabled me to really move forward. Perhaps I should have found a new pediatrician when they kept putting me on 30 minute holds every time I tried to make an appointment. This practice has gone down hill even more since it was bought out and the office staff are incompetent. My youngest just started high school and somehow, his middle school lost his vaccination records so I called MPPMG to obtain a copy for the school. They would not give me access to their portal since my health child had not been seen in 2 years. They were willing to fax the records to the high school so whatever. What they didn't send was the full vaccination record so I got a letter from the school saying there were missing required vaccines. My husband called and made an appointment to get the vaccine and given a 9:30am appointment. When he arrived with our child, he told them he was here for a 9:30am appointment and he & my child were taken back for vitals and then put in an exam room where they waited for quite a while before someone from the front desk came back and said the appointment was actually at 10:30am. My husband ask the woman if that was the case, why didn't they say anything when he checked in and why were they taken back to a room. He also told her he wanted her to know that this wasn't his fault and he would like to get out of there in a timely manner. In the end, my kid didn't even need any shots so the appointment was a huge waste of time. And today we received a letter stating that due to a recent interaction, they have fired my children as patients and will no longer see them. My husband was not rude and did not raise his voice at any point, which is why I felt to compelled to write this review. It should serve as a warning to anyone considering taking their kids here. They mess up, don't sent the complete vaccination records to the school, tell us the incorrect appointment time and now they won't treat our kids. I could see if voices were raised and foul language was used but this was a normal interaction yet this is how they respond.
