However, I'm writing to express my disappointment with the receptionist, Jessica, who was extremely rude when I called to schedule an appointment today. When I inquired about my primary doctor's availability, she informed me that he had left the practice. Instead of offering a solution or providing guidance on how to proceed, she simply reiterated that he was no longer employed there. When I requested a solution and sought her advice on resolving the issue, she abruptly interrupted my conversation and assigned me a new provider without prior communication. She then abruptly ended the call, leaving me without the necessary information to schedule an appointment. Other than the doctor she assigned will contact me if there's earlier availability. While I've never had any issues with the receptionists in the past, this experience was particularly disappointing because I was unable to receive clear guidance and was subjected to rude behavior.

Maegan was the desk person who tried to tell me since I they didn't send out a confirmation there was no appointment. Truly infuriating.

Getting a prescription refilled or transferred is a major task as half the doctors do not even respond to these requests and a quarter of them don't get it right when they do respond. Trying to reach someone on the phone normally requires several messages and hoping for a call back. The doctors have no clue as to how backed up other services are and write an order for an ultrasound or CT scan for a specific time frame only to have the patient discover the earliest appointment is a month after the doctor wanted the service.

Soon after our arrival in town my boyfriend was having excruciating jaw pain. It must've been bad for him to want to see a doctor so I Yelped an urgent care. This place was open, close by and most important had good reviews. It was closing in 30 minutes tho, but if we didn't go, bf would be miserable all weekend to see these races. We walked in, place was empty lucky for us, no appointment. Couple of waivers filled out, insurance given and Doctor took us in. Dr. Gilliam is by far the kind of doctor I wish I had as my PCP. He's funny, caring, gentle and educational. After asking my bf some questions and a little exam, it was concluded he had a little infection that needed antibiotics. Dr. Gilliam took care of ALL of it, sent the scripts to Safeway right next door (we needed to get snacks anyway) filled out the claim and sent it to insurance. I mentioned I was a medical coder. He does all of his own coding using software. But if Dr. Gilliam ever wants to hire a certified outpatient coder/biller with Urgent Care experience, we could always use an excuse to relocate to Monterey (hint hint) We were treated like humans, even laughed a little bit at some funny stories. Warm, kind Doctor. I hope we'd never have to be patients again but if we're in Monterey and need an Urgent Care, we're going here. He's the way all Doctors should be.

After waiting an hour, and taking someone in-front of me they finally told me they couldn't take my blood and that I needed to go to the hospital instead. It was frustrating because they clearly knew ahead of time that they wouldn't be able to do it, yet still had me wait all that time. (I had also brought paperwork day prior to ask if thelabs could be processed there and they said yes) The lab techs didn't seem too concerned about the inconvenience, which was disappointing. That said, I want to highlight the woman at the front desk - she was absolutely wonderful. As I was walking out, she kindly explained that she had already entered me into the system. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out, especially compared to the rest of the staff.

He was nervous about his new health challenges, and Dr. Horne came highly recommended. He was told she was an excellent physician. I have years of professional and personal experience with physicians. I can recognize a doctor who is in their field for the love of money and/or prestige, and those who are passionate about helping others to stay well. Dr. Horne is definitely passionate about helping her patients live healthy lives in every area of their lives. She listened carefully to his concerns and pulled together a powerful team to help him. She said she can see him healthy again and participating once again in the activities he once enjoyed. It is very important that your doctor "sees" you healthy again- and not as a "sick" person. I have had the honor of witnessing two incredible doctors in my life, one who rose to the top of his field due to his love and passion for his profession and for his patients. I feel that Dr. Horne has the same quality as these two individuals. In fact, I am so impressed with her, that I will make her my physician. For people like me, who are into organic foods and healthy living, Dr. Michele Horne understands the importance of the quality of our food and nutrients as being the foundation to feeling good (and thinking efficiently). It is my understanding that she will prescribe medications for crisis situations - and once stable, will promote a healthy lifestyle of quality food, nutrients, and exercise. I later learned that I had NEVER suffered a heart attack and subsequent tests proved it. Despite knowing that I had experienced no symptoms, was leading an extremely active life (riding a bike 100 miles a week, including up some 12% grades) and I expressed to them that the diagnosis did not make sense, they told me that there was no need to try to figure out when it occurred and that I needed to move forward. I learned that large shadows on their Echocardiogram were misinterpreted as massive heart damage. The second look by another cardiologist was what enabled me to really move forward. Please, get a second opinion.

Dr. Grogan put in a pacemaker in my husband and he is having problems with the pacemaker not working properly and we cannot get an appointment with the doctor for four months. He keeps sending us to a nurse and telling us that if we have problems we can go to the hospital. The hospital did not put in the pacemaker he did, and we would like to talk to him and ask him questions about why things are going wrong. This doesn't seem like something that should wait four months until we get into see him. I gave him zero stars also also.

Obviously no need for the ER, so DoD staffs actual doctors and not just nurse practitioners as Montage's MoGo Urgent Care. Also, DoD provides radiology services beginning at 9am and MoGo starts this service at 10 am. So, DoD best met my needs effectively.

For months we told the front that our daughters insurance switched, 4 months later I call my insurance and they said it was still getting charged incorrectly. Call back the billing office and they said they never changed it...odd because we were refunded 4 months prior for this issue and asked to have it change and I guess the request was ignored. Loved the doctors, but the office staff love to pick and choose what requests to do, was not the first time this has happened.
