I was in Bend for vacation and thought I would try the latest from Hoyt and Mathews for 2021. I buy the latest bow typically every two years for the last twenty years. Both Tom and Ed were top notch. No pressure sales and very helpful. They set up both bows for me to try and did not push one over the other. In the end, I chose the bow I felt was the best for me. The staff was kind and professional. Probably one of the most pleasant bow buying experience I ever had in the last ten bow purchases. I will buy from Central Cascade again. Just like another person review on here I am new to this and went in to have them adjust the weight/length and fix my peep sight that was shifting. Not only did Tom take time making sure everything was perfect he also had me try it out in their range and gave me some pointers. It was awesome customer service and I can tell he really cares about his job. Tom's awesome. There was another employee not doing much but I have no idea what his name was. Great bow shop! Kind, helpful, patient, and will give your bow the care you need to be a elite archer. Ed the owner is a great dude. The shop also has a good amount of equipment and the stuff you need to get ready to kill a big bull. Only reason for coming up short of 5/5 is one employee who is lazy, flustered and doesn't care for the customer. I've had multiple interactions with him and he is always doing the littlest possible so that he can get to the next bow and get home. He won't take the extra care to help you be the best archer possible. He will slap your peep sight on with his best guess, and send you on your way if you don't say anything and check it yourself. He tuned my bow and the cam timing wasn't close. If you come here, stay away from Mark. And you will have a great experience. read more

Done with this outfit as of today...used to be my favorite archery shop. Had a bad experience with a string order 2 years ago with them, and now this year they messed up an install and service and a tune-up. have wasted 2 trips in and still had to wait to pick the bow up...they have the sights set so bad its pegged out of adjustment, center shot not established and string 100% not waxed as part of the 29.99 service I paid for...went in today for refund of tune-up charge that clearly wasn't done...told I had to come back Friday for a refund. Nope done, 3 wasted trips back and forth keep the $30...that is the last dime you'll see from me... Guaranteed! Sorry Ed, you are the only person in there worth the time... read more
